Walking tour of Metro City Shopping mall in Hong Kong. 4k60.

This is a street walk followed by a mall tour in Hong Kong. The mall is Metro City and it is located in Po Lam which is in the Sai Kung district. I also visit a wet market after the mall walkthrough.
This tour is to highlight the high vacancy rate in malls throughout Hong Kong. Political protests combined with Covid-19 has caused a drastic decline in commercial real estate occupancy rates in 2020-2021. The loss of tourism is changing the face of Hong Kong which was once a top tourist destination globally.

You showed some eggs. Have you tried century egg yet (the black eggs)? Did you like them? Best introduction to them is in a bowl of juk (congee). Nothing tastes like them in the Western palette!

Just want to point out they do have seating in the malls. If you go to llangham place Kowloon and all the bigger malls they all have seating.
