I just replaced my cats and looking at the system it shouldn't be hard to just make it dual. I'm going to take that y pipe out, put a resonator on each side and some MagnaFlow muffler. It won't be too bad to make a couple custom pieces of pipe, still 49-state legal. I might as well make it cool,...

Thank you. Yeah, I removed the stock muffler in the rear, installed a Magnaflow resonator in place of the stock resonator and then deleted the secondary cat. Parts and pricing are listed on the video (found with the time stamps in the description). If you have any more questions, let me know!
I have a 2005 camry with the same engine and so far i only have a sports muffler on and it sounds really deep, I'm thinking of doing the 3rd cat delete, do you suggest it ? what are it's pros and cons?
Just realized I never replied. Deleting the third cat may be illegal where you are. It was where I am. However, it honestly depends on what they do to check them during inspection. Down in the south, atleast in Texas, they don’t get under the car and inspect it for tampering, so if your car isn’t smelling super rich or nasty (which it won’t change much from how it is now), you’re good as it is. As far as sound, it didn’t give me a huge improvement, but it did make it pop and gurgle more. Hopefully that answers your question
If it's 15 years or older kids n most states you only need to pass safety. Here in Massachusetts we have Californias emissions laws but after the vehicle hits 15 years it only needs to pass safety.
I want to do something similar to mine but I have no idea what to get or where to get it and I may not have the skills required to do this yet. Any advice?
My advice is shop around at your local exhaust shops and get quotes to do certain work like remove the muffler, resonator, and/both. Don’t stick with one shop unless you’ve had experience from them and you know their price is fair. Also don’t just go with cheapest because of money. Analyze their work and see if they’re charging cheap because it’s crappy work or see if they’re cheap because they’re competitive. As far as your catalytic converter, I wouldn’t recommend taking it off. It’s not worth that little bit of sound, especially if you live in an area that does smog testing. Hope this helps.

I took it to an exhaust shop where I paid them to cut my catalytic converter off, install a Magnaflow resonator and delete the muffler box. I no longer have the car and it was wrecked and totaled after I sold it but all in all it wasn’t that complicated of an exhaust setup
@@nikdelano got it well thanks cause the cats started giving me codes so I’m pretty sure they going out and since there’s no type of aftermarket parts you can put in it or atleast some headers you gotta actually buy the cats and each one runs around $500 and there’s two so im gonna just go ahead and sell it since I already got on it around 4k not including what I paid for the car lol😂
Pulled the shift lever down (I had column shift because I had the bench), and gave it a tap of gas. It’s not great for the transmission but light taps of gas prevent it from having to slip the clutch until it engages. I know how to drive standard so I knew how blip the throttle for a “rev match”

Yes. The cat delete only made it a tiny bit louder and made it crackle just that little bit more

Nothing. This is a muffler and secondary cat delete, with the middle resonator being replaced with the Magnaflow unit mentioned in the description.

I took it to an exhaust shop where I paid them to cut my catalytic converter off, install a Magnaflow resonator and delete the muffler box. I no longer have the car and it was wrecked and totaled after I sold it but all in all it wasn’t that complicated of an exhaust setup
