you do know your bike is supposed to have oil in it right? lost oil filter and never re filled it lol. that little 600 should have never spun a bearing
We live and learn Carson. When I was young I neglected my chain and blew a bearing on my Pantah 600. It cost me a lot more than some chain lube and basic tools to move the wheel to maintain chain tension. Hope you have a long and safe riding life. Cheers.

that oil leak is probably because whatever rubber piece you mention does not go on that bolt and you can get oil to spurt out because that is right next to the oil sub gallery. remove that rubber piece and get a brand new cover gasket and make sure not to overtighten or damage the bolt holes on the gasket. Those bolts are 7ft/ibs torqued at the most any tighter and the cover will start to wear the bolt holes quickly causing further oil leakage.

I think that leak you have is a common leak. Just replace to o-ring/crush washer and it should be fine

Regarding your oil leak brah, the gixxer is supposed to have that little sealing washer on one of those clutch cover bolts. I would just replace the sealing washer and make sure it is on the correct bolt.

i dont have a gsxr 1k buttttttttt, ive been running my own motorcycle shop for a while now, that bolt hole could possibly be an oil galley inside the motor as well. i havent seen this often on motorcycles, but the older yfzs have a couple bolts like this. so its very possible the other side of that bolt hole carries oil to somewhere. orr its just crankcase pressure pushing out oil. id try to replace the seal on the bolt or if your like me on my own bikes, black rtv till it starts leaking then do it again lol

I was hit on my bike at 60 mph and I slid a long ways. It hurt. I had road rash down my whole left side. That did not hurt as bad as when they started to pick gravel out of my side. I can't imagine sliding at 170.
New record, cant cover that stretch of highway any faster than that. Never been done.
Yet... Although he might have gone faster if he's tested other bikes (like an H2, or Aprillia V4 or other bikes). Its Texas, its even possible there's been a turbo busa averaging 240 mph through there.
Since this seems to be a spot he knows, Brah himself has probably taken other bikes through here a time or two so I wouldn't place any bets that he hasn't gone faster through there before.

As far as that oil leak goes, you may be able to find a copper crush washer for it. Or you can just clean it really well and put rtv silicone around the bolt head.
06/07 Gsxr 600 and my same bolt spits a little oil. Usually noticeable after track events
The Bolt is a weep hole so when you change your oil you just fill it up until oil comes out the hole! Just make sure you bike is straight up and down👍

Any tips on improving turning/cornering skill for new riders? I’m a new rider but I’ve been watching you videos and the amount of control and confidence that you have when riding is a goal of mine. It’s like, how do I get to the point when I could rag-doll the bike; point and shoot with speed?
I’d recommend looking up Dan Dan the fireman since he’s an MSF instructor and has videos demonstrating drills to improve your skills

That oil coming out around the sealed nut indcates that that is an oil gallery feeding your top end ( cams and valves) oil drains back thru the cam chain chest into the sump.
