- The car I never knew I wanted....but I love it! The 1959 Chevy BISCAYNE is truly a dream ride and a far departure from the usual suspects at Goldberg’s Garage. A speed demon back in the day, the BISCAYNE has at LEAST 600 less hp than my daily driver! Join us for an adventurous day in the hill country. #car #chevy #youtube

full ass grown man still dodging the cops in his hot rod. love it!
This car has such a sweet vampiric presence. I feel like if it were 1960 and this rounded the corner onto your street you'd take two steps back in awe.
Thats an awesome car. Last year of the golden 50s era! I have got a 1950 Buick Special Jetback 2 door with still the original dealer emblem on the back. Tom Mitchell Buick dealership in Atlanta, Georgia
My dad bought a 61 Bel Air from Tim Timmers Chevrolet in Atlanta. Their commercials were on the radio and TV all day and night. Lotsa memories of Atlanta, growing up in the 60s and 70s.
What a splendid, magnificent beast of a car! Junior Johnson at Darlington Raceway with his 59 in 59 and 60. Junior ran his fair share of 'shine up in the hills in those days.
You've really got yourself something here. A real survivor, and nobody has done any sort of butchery or stupidity to it in all these years. Its nothing short of miraculous! I sure hope you can resist the urge to make "improvements" and just allow it to be exactly what it is, a totally badass original time traveller from the lost civilization!!
Hats off
CHEERS!!!
Thank you for not going the "rest-mod" route on this gorgeous old survivor! That car is a keeper! So cool.
Yeah Bill, A '59 Biscayne 348ci, tri power, 4 speed, 2 door sedan - what's NOT to love!!
Love it! Just a badass old school car. I'd be proud if that were in my garage!
Might be the best classic I have seen in some time
I was born in 59. Love anything 59.
my first car was a 59 chev biscayne 6cilinder 2 speed powerglide i was 17 yrs; old i payed 135.00 dollars for it i am 70 yrs' old now it was a cool car
Great story 🙏🏻
@@GoldbergsGarageBADASS COLLECTION BILL LOL I HAVE 8 CARS IN MY COLLECTION AND I LOVE CARS.
Paid $50 for mine, I am a year younger than you. I bought it when I was still 15.
Great memories young fellow. 😅
Goldberg that is one badass 59.
That car brings back memories. A friend of mine had one and I had a 63 T-bird. His was setup for straight line with a raised back end. Mine was lowered and my tires fit inside the wheel wells. It cornered very well.
Everyone have a wonderful day.
That is a bad ass Car! Those wheels and black paint make it very sinister looking. perfect car for your collection.
Hi Bill! Great Car!!! My Father had a '59 Impala non post car, white with a red interior. 283 and a glide. Thanks for rekindeling a memory 60 years ago.
Mad respect! Goldberg is the man, hill country is grateful to have great dudes like you. Look forward to seeing you and the cars at the local car shows.
That was a great find. My friend drove a 1960 Biscayne back during our high school days. 3 on the tree, 6 cylinder. Gobs of interior space.
Man this is an amazing car please never change anything about it it’s perfect
The 348 was the "grandfather" of the modern big blocks. 😎
I have a 59 Impala Sports Sedan 4-door hardtop. Love it..
I had a 62 bubble top Biscayne upgraded to 350 4 bolt main, turbo 350 tranny fairbanks shift kit. What a blast!
Nice 1959 chevy
nice you get the to enjoy youre fruits of your labor, love the cars
My father bought one new in ‘59. It was sapphire blue and white. It was a 4 door. Thanks for the memories sharing this video.
What a beautiful example of wonderful engineering. This is actually such a great episode to get someone started on this channel with
Beautiful car. Thanks for showing it.
Hey Bill good to see you enjoying your cars..it was cool to see also that you actually wash them like you did here. That said, my mom and dad had a 59 copper body color with a white top . I was probably 7-8 at the time. It was thier second vehicle. Having two vehicles was hard back in the day. Economy wise? Dad drove it on days he was home or holidays. Mom drove us..my big sis..me and my bro Bob. Every where...it was a 4 speed to...i can recall as i text this, how she would make the tires squeel... memories brought back by watching you and your car. Having fun and enjoying it. My siblings and i would love mom and dad driving us places..im 58 now..i treasure those memories. Thanks Bill, and keep on enjoying your cars, and grabbing a hand full of gears every chance you have !!!
Awesome ride & even better that its a Georgia car! I remember Paul Timmers commercials had the catch phrase "if anyone can Tim can"! Timmers was in Buckhead from 1957-2000 & he died in 2008 age 82...GO DAWGS ✌💖☮
My first car was a "59" Chevy Biscayne that was a basket case for $100. I was 15 years old when I bought it. It had no side side windows, the headlights and taillights were busted out of it, the 3sd. stick transmission was shot, the rear end was shot, and half of the small block engine was gone. But, I knew the origional owner who bought the car new. It came with a tan paint job, 348 tri-power, 4sp. from the factory. When I got it it was painted a dark metallic green and the body was perfect. I was 15 but I knew a guy that owned a junkyard and a year later it had a 283 Corvette engine in it with a 3sd. on the floor with a Hurst shifter and a 4-11 posi in the back. God, I wish that I still had that car.
My absolutely favorite car in the collection!! Such a pure and bad ass machine!
Very nice old school hotrod it is great seeing old iron rolling down the back road
Beautiful car!
Such a timeless vehicle.

Cool car, cool story !
Glad you enjoy the 59 so much. My dad had a chance to buy one in green back in 1962, decided not to because it was a 4 speed, 348 Tri-power.
Big Berg has good taste in cars, I also grew up watching him
My kind of collection of love💪😁❤ bottom line that's one badass ride
Cool ride. The 59 & 60 Biscaynes, Impalas and El Caminos are really cool ass cars that don't really need much to get peoples attention. An era when cars had their own unique personalities.
That was amazing
My first car was a ‘64 Buick Riviera. 425 Wild Cat. 0 to 60 in (well, less than a minute) But it too, had a ship load of cool factor. Sure wish I still had it, great memories!
That's a great friend to have.
LARGE to you and yours, fam. (Love, Appreciation, Respect & Good Energy)
I've never heard that one before. LARGE Cool 😎
@@waynemetevia7983 I hadn't either, but it's a message that needs to be spread. 🐱💙🙏👊🙂

Great car dude!! You better fill it up again after driving.

Aint nothin like that old school
I think one of the best cars in your collection.

I like it !
I would stick with the moonshine story awesome garage also and cars
Fucking awesome car Bill, 59’s are one of my favourites
Very cold car! Area years ago I saw on future a dark blue met. 59 on there and it was a police car originally and it we very cool car seems the only difference was paint code and being a police pursuit car..two very cool cars!
I subscribed as soon as i found out about your channel, I like the video within the first 10 seconds of viewing it. Now making a comment.

That moonshine story is just the old Okie in you coming out.
😉
Just found the channel. Great show. As a kid my friends and I found out that at high speeds the rea would lift because of the fins. Thats why they were only a one-year design. Keep it at 50 and you'll fine. 😊
I believe it was a 2 year design 1959 and 1960. But beautiful cars, I like the 59 with those cat eye taillights
Very cool keeper,has a 22 gallon tank.
fricken beatiful
Absolutely beautiful automobile! Great story as well. It is “F-ing” awesome!
The Batmobile
That's how we snuck into the drive in movies
Goldberg is the fuckin man! What better man to have as a friend!
You have a great collection, but that 59 is the best one in it.
Freakin Awesome
I had a '62 impala. 4 door hard top, 283 with a big 2 barrel. My first car. 1981.
I've got an idea. Ha! perfect.
Goldberg would you want to do get you a couple of old crates get you some Masonary Jaws and some straw fill the bottles up with water put it in your trunk for a prop and go to the car show that would fit your car for your story that you’ll say this is a moonshine car a car looks great keep up the good work you made good videos have a great day God bless your family
Man I had a 600hp 1958 Chevy Biscayne that I so wish I still had!!!! Oh yeah, mine was converted to a 454 big block Chevy.🤘🏼🤘🏼
58' are and were the FUGLIEST ever
Thanks Bill. That should teach the kid to talk smack about you lol 😅😅😂
I say in the third seat of a Biscayne station wagon. I'd drive it!
Hey Bill if you ever want to do something with that car get with Joe Martin at Martin's Customes he just did his own Impala like that and it turned out absolutely incredible!! His shop is not to far from you..
Jackson!!!
Dixco Or Sun Tach ? Car is Perfect !! Pops had one when I was young ..It was an Impala ,, Thanks for the Ride !!
Reminds me of Zora's company car.
My first car was a 59 just like this. Paid $50 for it. Took corners like a cabin cruiser on the ocean.
Bad Ass Mr Goldberg.👍🏻✌🏻🤣
hauling moonshine is one theory, more likely is the old timer that had it liked big ladies. haul around a couple big ol' gals in the back of an old chevy, the springs needed a little help!
Nice ride!
Awesome 👍😎 You do have one Awesome garage. Wish I had a bigger one. 59' Stock is the best... Looks like you have a GTO or Lemans?
It has a 16 gallon (61 liters) capacity tank. It comes with the filler neck, fuel tank sending unit lock ring and O-ring. The lock ring has a 1-5/8 inch gauge hole diameter. The tank measures 29-1/4 inches by 27-3/4 inches by 7-1/4 inches.
I learned early watching Dragnet, coupe is a 2 door, a sedan has 4 doors. Welder’ Up gets called out on it all the time. I had a 1959 sedan in high school, sold it for a coupe. 4 doors were not cool in the late 70’s 80’s too.
If it has a post it’s considered a 2 door sedan.
Definitely looking forward to future episodes.
dats a nice ass car.
It looks good bone stock. That was probably a lot of horsepower in 1959 for a full size that wasn't a Chrysler 300, Cadillac, Continental, or Imperial
