Shirley's life is in Mortal danger and they're sitting around frozen like deer in a headlight because they fear breaking some legal technicality. Helloooo, Hellooooo! Shirley is going to die! Alan is the only one with the Will to Act. And to do so by Any Means Necessary. Deal with the consequences afterward.
@@Ares99999 I absolutely agree with you. There's never any one particular behavior that can be a good thing in all cases. In this situation, I believe Alan's choice of behavior is right on point. The rest were allowing fear to cloud their judgement as to the true magnitude of the situation. It was imperative that someone possess the Will To Act and take responsibility for the consequences afterward.
Boston Legal is a Spin-off of a show called The Practice, where Alan Shore appeared in the 8th and final season, alongside Denny Crane. I'd highly suggest watching at least the 8th season of The Practice first just to really get an idea of Alan Shore's character. Denny Crane.
So unrealistic, A room full of Lawyers and not one of them thinks about lying
To be fair, they’re in shock and Alan isn’t.
Good one!
They can't lie it will be purgury if it isnt true they may lose their bar license to practice the law
Most high position lawyers dont take the risk to much to lose with so little evidence

You're right...if you're thinking of a minor character named Dr. March. More likely, you recognize him as Odo from "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine".
