The fostering of ignorance is evident and repeated throughout history, and seems to remain a constant tactic that is still used today. “Trust the science”, or “Science by consensus” are modern examples; both phrases being blatant and inherently incongruous. Not only is Barry Setterfield a brilliant man, but I met him in the early 80's in Adelaide Australia as a young Christian convert and he was a great mentor and a beautiful Godly man. Back in the mid90’s when NO one had heard of any variation in c, I was sharing Dr. Satterfield’s views with colleagues who also had their doctorates in sciences. They wanted to make me out to be crazy, besmirch sources (especially since everyone knower I was an evangelical). I had done my homework and gave all reason to think about a literal Genesis cosmology, reasons to doubt biogenesis and geologic epochs.... Pray for the highly educated, God fearing believers in the big science research buildings-we are definitely in there!

Well, it was a bit over my head technically as I have never studied quantum or plasma physics ;) but it did make some sense. I have spent most of my life thinking there may be a God until about 5 years ago when my life changed. I now take the Bible literally and time after time the jigsaw puzzle eventually gets another piece to fit even though incomplete or psuedo science tries its best to take the pieces away. Dr Hovind mentioned the speed of light is not a constant, it was proven it can be slowed, so it is possible to manipulate that means it can speed up and is not a constant. Very happy to see some of my favorite God loving people coming to the same conclusions.

It is wonderful to not be so darn smart in this world - like a 5 year old, I see all of this in my mind and it confirms what I have visualized from other times when I have been listening to others talk, or I have read of such magnificent things. So, the first question I have - if everything is digital, how does it all fit together? It would seem to me that it would take the existence of the entire cosmos changing as time slows down, to keep the Earth in perfect balance in all the ways that exist. Even if it all turns out to be a hologram of some fantastic sort, well then it would make even more sense because The Lord is the Creator and the One that made it all in this way that changes predictably. Wow. I can barely wait to be with Him when when I can ask Him how Creation works.

About 7 years ago I saw this Issachar Insight video of a discussion between Chuck Missler and Barry Setterfield regarding Setterfield’s physics. Please don’t interpret the following as being critical of a Christian brother, but of his theory only. PLEASE LET the READERS read MY COMMENTS WITHOUT DELETION. I know Mr Setterfield is a biblical creationist and he has developed his own ideas on various aspects of alternative physics to promote, in his mind, that the speed of light (c) was much faster back at Creation than it is now. The speed of light, c, allegedly slowed down to its current value, from the Creation to the present time, by a factor of something like 10 million times. This is referred to as c-decay or cdk. His idea I once found very exciting as a potential solution to the biblical creationist starlight travel-time problem. That was about 1980 and since then we have learned that basic experimental physics in the cosmos undermines it. The resent detection of gravitational radiation from the merger of a black hole binary further strengthens the case against it. (Barry and I exchanged views on that at the time via the Journal of Creation.)
Very informative talk...i'm not an advanced scientist but even i know how big this new info is...like i tell my evolutionist friends...if you can't tell me where it all comes from,then you don't have much to tell me...ZPE clearly means intelligent design aka God/Jesus...someone had to figure out the zero point on which everything stands...meaning,no randomness like some like to believe.

About 7 years ago I saw this Issachar Insight video of a discussion between Chuck Missler and Barry Setterfield regarding Setterfield’s physics. Please don’t interpret the following as being critical of a Christian brother, but of his theory only. PLEASE LET the READERS read MY COMMENTS WITHOUT DELETION.
I know Mr Setterfield is a biblical creationist and he has developed his own ideas on various aspects of alternative physics to promote, in his mind, that the speed of light (c) was much faster back at Creation than it is now. The speed of light, c, allegedly slowed down to its current value, from the Creation to the present time, by a factor of something like 10 million times. This is referred to as c-decay or cdk.
His idea I once found very exciting as a potential solution to the biblical creationist starlight travel-time problem. That was about 1980 and since then we have learned that basic experimental physics in the cosmos undermines it. The resent detection of gravitational radiation from the merger of a black hole binary further strengthens the case against it. (Barry and I exchanged views on that at the time via the Journal of Creation.)
Very informative talk...i'm not an advanced scientist but even i know how big this new info is...like i tell my evolutionist friends...if you can't tell me where it all comes from,then you don't have much to tell me...ZPE clearly means intelligent design aka God/Jesus...someone had to figure out the zero point on which everything stands...meaning,no randomness like some like to believe.
Large scale evolutionary changes is like a roof with no foundation to hold it up.

Prior to this, I was only slightly aware of zero point energy. Now I have a much better grasp of it, as well as its significance. Wow. Also, I had my doubts about the red shift being due to Doppler effect. Now it makes far more sense. Thank you for sharing this information.
It just blew a huge hole in the evolution concept as one of the impacts of this information with the simple idea that in the past larger animals were much more efficient within their scale than the same animal is today. Thus we are not evolving into a better more efficient organism, instead we are growing more inefficient and actually slowing down or becoming less efficient. That is just one area of our environment that is impacted with this truth. to@ Isaiah 55:6, this is what this information means... Not to mention it backs up What the Bible says about how long it took Abba Father to create all that He created. If I am understanding the information correctly.

Wow, the speed of light, 1 year was like 10 million years, ZPE slower, faster, nerve/ electric impulses, time, how it lines up with God's word, amazing it is a miracle, my mind is blown.
I'm really not a believer in the SED model, but I am riveted by the ZPE models.

Well I’m thankful that I don’t look at life strictly through the scientific lens, it would probably rob a lot of the joy & ambiance right out of it. I think I’d almost prefer to remain a child forever.

Going on 10 times I’ve watched. The Bible says knowledge would increase in these last days. Turns out, that knowledge testifies God is completely trustworthy.
