For all the people that are concerned about the SUV. 1- engine was bad 2- transmission was bad 3- title has issues 4- Tires are bad 5- no Ac 6- no radio 7- no heated seats after this video 8- no satellite xm or CD player 9- Windows don't roll down for some reason . I took it to car wash and couldn't pay the guy through the window cuz didn't wanna roll down also the door wouldn't open . I had to get out from the passenger door to pay the guy . That is a true story . 10- total repair cost before this video was $11234.21 11- to buy this suv, perfect good running condition , cost 1000-1500$ on Craig's list . 12- have a nice day now and thanks for watching lol.
philjafo2 oooooo ok that make sense now lol . Well one good thing was this SUV had zero rust . So the value would be little more for those people . RUST FREEEEEE folks . Lol
😭STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you shooting that beautiful suburban?????????? That's thing I'd freaking immaculate!!!! The rims a gorgeous. The body is solid. I would put myself in the poorhouse for a rig like that you Maniac!!!!
When I was a youngster, I saw a guy shoot a 55 Chevy with a 410 slug. The slug penetrated the hood, the radiator shell, the firewall, and the steel dashboard before splintering and spraying lead splinters about the car interior. I would never believe that little slug would penetrate so many layers if I hadn't seen it firsthand.
Note to viewers: This actually wasn't Edwins SUV, it was his wifes. Edwin has not been seen or heard from since the making of this video. If anyone has information to the whereabouts of Edwin may be or where his body may be please contact your local authorities.
The Federal tru-ball slugs are awesome. Very accurate plus the solid ball behind the plastic wad will penetrate 1/2 plywood out to 20 yards. Only downside is the recoil from a lightweight shotgun is very memorable.
Slug wadding definitely leaves a nasty bruise. I didn't notice it till the adrenaline wore off. It was cool to see it dent the door. Thanks for the vid. Be safe!
Wow, special guest star The Edwin! That made me smile and frankly prior to seeing him I thought, "What's up with guys shredding good looking bronze/silver suburbans? (Thinking of Edwin's videos.)
You should've shot the fist type of slug again at a different area, in pretty sure something metal in the door deflected the slug. I think it would've made it through
I would have been more interested in what the slug did inside the car. Some day you should do this again with an assortment of rounds. I'd imagine you would have to tear the roof off in order to get enough light for high-speed though.
I love the people on hear saying they've been hit by wads and it really hurt. If you're getting hit by wads, I feel sorry for anyone that shoots ANYwhere near you. Probably should not be allowed to even have a fuckin gun.
I was on the training mission one time and I never will forget the very first time I heard a 12 gauge go off. I swear to you I could not believe that thing was that loud and that ferocious. It means something. Just when you hear the slide cock. It means something.
Edwin gets pulled over.... Cop-"Roll down the window, sir." Edwin-"I can't." Cop-"You have bullet holes in your doors. What happened?" Edwin-"I was trying to shoot Doug on the other side." Cop-"Open your door and get out NOW!" Edwin-"I can't." .........4 hours later.......... Edwin on phone-"Gaspari, come bail me out." Gaspari-"Cabròne"
No, Aluminum is attacked by mercury in the same manner that gallium attacks it. The only difference is the remnants of gallium reaction aren't as toxic.
talk to Nurdrage. he knows his stuff. I might me wrong, but I believe the mercury and gallium work together. also, the aluminum oxide layer must be removed or penetrate for best results.
Honey I need to take the kids to school but there are holes and the windows are broken. What happened? Husband: I was with the guys and we shot holes in it
You should start hunting PT Cruisers. All joking aside though, the test results don't lie but still don't underestimate some of the lower velocity ammunition. You might be surprised at what it can do.
We got back from the gun range late last night. Had really good luck with these 3 inch back-spin ball rounds against 1/4 inch steel plate. Gad they kick like a mule....!!!! But, only needed 3 rounds to successfully beat up a steel plate....
hey tao? just wondering what you think about getting a couple shipping shock watch stickers that you can add to that dummy who keeps on agreeing to get shot by you so as you go through different tests, we can see basically what the g force is from a impact with one of your tests. they are pretty cheap, available at most large freight shipping companies. I've used them before just for fun and i put duct tape in strips under the shock watch while folding one end. so i could just pull them off quickly. like, put a strip and gold an end, then put s shorter strip over and below the first. then sticker on that. that way you could say definitely that a certait bullet hit with 390# or if one goes straight. very accurate but doesn't break the shick watch, you know for sure the impact is less forceful than a punch. if you do decide to try it, i peice of advice from personal experience is wrap a wire around the dummy snd then wrap that tightly with duct tape to more effectively transfer the energy.
TAOFLEDERMAUS yeah, sand or liquid depending on the force you want to break it. there are ones for tipping and ones for bumps, like to watch if a fragile parcel gets bumped in transport. the bump ones are what work. cause thats basically what your doing to the dummy.
TAOFLEDERMAUS mythbusters gave me the idea on one of their shows to try it in the first place. i think they through their dummy off a plane if im not mistaken. could be another show though.
You should try shooting a slug shaped like a golf ball. Correct me if i am wrong, but don't the dimples on a golf ball help with stability and reduce the friction as it flies through the air? I think if it was possible to shoot a .72 diameter lead "golf ball" it would be pretty accurate.
Okay fine I will sub to him. I was avoiding going over there for some reason but any man that will shoot a shotgun round through his car deserves a sub. I assume that car is his transportation and not just something to shoot up.
***** For sure! I will give him a shot (pun not intended). For some reason I expected his channel to be much larger that 65k but that just makes him more awesome in my book.
this made me think of the time back in high school my buddy Chris got in a wreck while we were out to lunch. we came back missed half of 5 period just looking at it when I asked if I could kick it jokingly. he was fine with it so I did then Tyler Kyle L.A. and Chris just kicked the shit out of his car. we made it worse but I think he was so pissed about the wreck he didn't care that we razed the damage by like two grand. damn I miss the good times but I guess we grow up have a kid and only act like a child when our fiance isn't looking haha. great video stay awesome jeff👍
When I first heard a 12-gauge go off I looked at the range instructor and I wanted to ask him seriously. Do you seriously expect me to fire that thing😮
Vehicle doors in this U.S. are pretty tuff in the U.S. compared to European and Asian requirements/laws for their domestically used ones. Seen American vehicle bodies, doors absorb 5.56 mm & 7.62 x39 mm in Iraq/Afghanistan. Then again a pistol round could manage to miss reinforced areas and kill you.
For all the people that are concerned about the SUV.
1- engine was bad

thanks for the clarification. it looked real nice and seeing it get shot just confused me but not anymore
Edwin Sarkissian the people that are saying it looked like a nice suv are from where they salt the roads and an suv that old would be a rust bucket
philjafo2 oooooo ok that make sense now lol . Well one good thing was this SUV had zero rust . So the value would be little more for those people . RUST FREEEEEE folks . Lol
Edwin Sarkissian you could probably list it on ebay now for some superfan $$$
Jim Strauser that's a good idea I think I will do that . Lol 500$ parts only . The only good part is the tail light cover probably .
See edwins comment dude
Get outta here.
So pleased you took the safety of the manikin seriously and gave him a pair of safety goggles :)
Needs pt belt
Safety 1st !
Thanks for shooting your SUV for our enjoyment.
The
Perfectly good car
How much is your insurance deductible ?
😄👏
Clean holes in the door! Liked as always! * remembers to never park near Jeff *
Hmmm, I wonder if a slug could go through TWO Mustangs? lol Thanks for stopping by!
Jesse and Mike!!!!!!!! I didn't know y'all watched Taofledermaus!!!😲😀

55 Chevy... a crime against humanity! lol
Imagine a thin skin deer getting hit by the .410 slug...

Super good shockwave at 0:41 if you can pause it right. It's amazing how fluid metal looks in high speed.
dammit dad. That SUV was supposed to be mine in 2 weeks when I turn 16.
morelli tech who said it won't be son?
Kids in Africa could have eaten that SUV.
Nah, too much iron!
Joel Williams haha :)
Dick Fitzwell - Can we get an F in the chat for the kids in Africa please. Thanks. Hahah
This is why i love the internet 🤣
This reminds me of the scene from lord of war. Accept they ate an airplane. Was free on youtube not long ago
Love how it's straight to the point
When he said," Mind you, this is not super scientific so just sit back and enjoy" I knew this was going to be a good video.
The Federal tru-ball slugs are awesome. Very accurate plus the solid ball behind the plastic wad will penetrate 1/2 plywood out to 20 yards. Only downside is the recoil from a lightweight shotgun is very memorable.

Wow, special guest star The Edwin! That made me smile and frankly prior to seeing him I thought, "What's up with guys shredding good looking bronze/silver suburbans? (Thinking of Edwin's videos.)
Please shoot more full size objects like this! Cars, RVs, boats, shit anything big will do. Good fun:)
I had one of these Chevy's, this is the best way to fix them every time ! ! !
Saves money fixing them this way too (^_^)
That Duke3D music
Right? Hahah.
Such a badass tune!
Poulet Channel thanks for the comment! I was soul searching my youth to find where I heard that!
That suv is stronger than every plastic car from today
I think it's funny that the plastic wadding would do that much damage, for some reason I just find destruction hilarious 😂😂😂
God bless you . LMAO
Doug was like "Thank you Jesus!" :)
Haha, he dodged a bullet this time!
That SUV was compromised already. You need to shoot a new Suburban for EACH round for this to be an accurate test. 😂
Or alot of Ford Exploders.
Wanted to know whether the first slug would have gone clean through. You guys should've sent a third downrange
The wild card in the test is that most car doors have some reinforcing about 1/2 way up from the bottom of the door.
Should of been a dodge.
I bet Edwin was pissed when he accidentally broke his window there, lol
Mrs. Edwin: "um, Honey, why are there holes in my SUV?"
Edwin: "termites?"
That settles it! I’m buying an SUV… and some 12ga slugs.
Just kidding of course… I already have the slugs
Good thing the mannequin was wearing goggles with all that glass flying around!
I love the people on hear saying they've been hit by wads and it really hurt. If you're getting hit by wads, I feel sorry for anyone that shoots ANYwhere near you. Probably should not be allowed to even have a fuckin gun.
It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum... And I'm all out of gum.
Woohoo! Doug lives another day!
I was on the training mission one time and I never will forget the very first time I heard a 12 gauge go off. I swear to you I could not believe that thing was that loud and that ferocious. It means something. Just when you hear the slide cock. It means something.
Such a nice truck in the wrong hands
Well I for one have always wondered what a shotgun slug would do to a vehicle.
Good to see my favorite channels are shooting again dust buddy are you ready,I'm ready,I also like Kentucky ballistics, and demolition ranch
The price of partying with Jeff is getting your truck shot off? Wow Detroit all over again.
It was Edwin's idea. He shot up that suv quite a bit all ready.
No lie Jeff, in Detroit no one would notice.
Doug deserves a raise.
Edwin gets pulled over....
Cop-"Roll down the window, sir."
Edwin-"I can't."
Cop-"You have bullet holes in your doors. What happened?"
Edwin-"I was trying to shoot Doug on the other side."
Cop-"Open your door and get out NOW!"
Edwin-"I can't."
.........4 hours later..........
Edwin on phone-"Gaspari, come bail me out."
Gaspari-"Cabròne"
Nice Duke Nukem music 😎
That Lenova gun rest coming in clutch once again :)
Totally missed an opportunity to shoot the SUV with some flight control buckshot. Would have liked to see some 00, #1, #2 and #4.
Rot the aluminium bits on the engine with mercury and start it up.. :)
Green Silver that would be awesome! definitely needs to be done
i think you mean galium. That would be interesting. 1 week after contamination engine could be explode :D
bits ? uk much ?
No, Aluminum is attacked by mercury in the same manner that gallium attacks it. The only difference is the remnants of gallium reaction aren't as toxic.
talk to Nurdrage. he knows his stuff. I might me wrong, but I believe the mercury and gallium work together. also, the aluminum oxide layer must be removed or penetrate for best results.
"Damn those alien bastards are gonna pay for shooting up my ride"
-Duke Nukem
10/10 intro. Gave it a like right away
Honey I need to take the kids to school but there are holes and the windows are broken. What happened?
Husband: I was with the guys and we shot holes in it
Hail to the King, baby!
My man Doug was looking through the window like “okay guess the next one will hit me”
Is that the Duke Nuke’em theme?
You should start hunting PT Cruisers.

wow those slugs could blow the doors off if they were fired at them open
Do you or anyone drive that suv .cool show thank you it's appreciated.
I find that bullet holes make a great post apocalyptic fashion statement in vehicles. :)
Duke nukem!
Duke nukem very cool! Made the video even better lol
Smh that's a pretty good looking old truck even got the tires shined up
Dammam that 3/4 ton suburban was clean
hey tao? just wondering what you think about getting a couple shipping shock watch stickers that you can add to that dummy who keeps on agreeing to get shot by you so as you go through different tests, we can see basically what the g force is from a impact with one of your tests.

TAOFLEDERMAUS look up 'shock watch sticker' from uline, should be the first option when googleing it. all the options show up for them.
You should try shooting a slug shaped like a golf ball. Correct me if i am wrong, but don't the dimples on a golf ball help with stability and reduce the friction as it flies through the air? I think if it was possible to shoot a .72 diameter lead "golf ball" it would be pretty accurate.
How would you compare it to one without dimples? The dimples would change the weight quite a bit.
Holy moly guys! So muck for hiding behind the door in a gunfight!
Next time try the dragon's breath slugs.....I'd love to see that.😃😃😎
When the Duke nukem song hits just right
That was pretty cool.
U Should Try 3 Inch,
BLACK MAGIC MAGNUM
Slug's...
love the superman hat edwin..
good job guys first time here
Okay fine I will sub to him. I was avoiding going over there for some reason but any man that will shoot a shotgun round through his car deserves a sub. I assume that car is his transportation and not just something to shoot up.
Give him a test drive. His videos are fun to watch.
***** For sure! I will give him a shot (pun not intended). For some reason I expected his channel to be much larger that 65k but that just makes him more awesome in my book.
His channel is still pretty new, but growing fast. He puts out several videos a week.
***** Sweet! Well thanks for bringing him on and promoting him. I will report back to you in a few weeks and tell you what I think.
I’m pretty sure that SUV belongs to Edwin’s Grandpa. He brought it back from WWI...
I think I'll deck my car out with the bullet hole stickers. It's way cheaper than shooting it up all to hell.
Soooooooo would a Federal 1oz Deer Slug have gone through both doors if it wouldn't have deflected ?
You guys should do a channel like AVE and use guns to make the right sized holes. I feel it would get really interesting really quick.
this made me think of the time back in high school my buddy Chris got in a wreck while we were out to lunch. we came back missed half of 5 period just looking at it when I asked if I could kick it jokingly. he was fine with it so I did then Tyler Kyle L.A. and Chris just kicked the shit out of his car. we made it worse but I think he was so pissed about the wreck he didn't care that we razed the damage by like two grand. damn I miss the good times but I guess we grow up have a kid and only act like a child when our fiance isn't looking haha. great video stay awesome jeff👍
It was supposed to blow up with a big cinematic fireball! Video games have lied to me.
Hehe nice Duke Nukem 3D music
Clean looking SUV
That truck would have parted out in the thousands...
“I’m Ready!”
Thumbs up for Duke Nukem theme!
That Edwin! He is quite a guy!
Do you think a DDupleks Monolit32 Magnum would make it through both doors and through Doug?
When I first heard a 12-gauge go off I looked at the range instructor and I wanted to ask him seriously. Do you seriously expect me to fire that thing😮
Wait...this ISN'T super scientific?! But the line of truth...THE LINE OF TRUTH!!!
(digging those GD slugs by the way)
I've always wondered what a slug or any caliber bullet would do to a K9 training bite sleeve. Try that maybe sometime?:)
Love the Duke nukem sound track lol
Thanks for the video.
It must be weird driving down the road with bullet holes in your car. Don't the cops wonder why?
I'm sure they got some funny looks!
That must be his grandfather old truck from WW2
I'm surprised the whole truck didn't explode
You should incorporate some drywall into your tests to simulate a wall in a house
you can poke holes in drywall with pencil. Everything goes through it
drywall + a stud? Would probably look good on camera
you still have to enjoy the fact that those are not the first wounds the suv has sustained.......lol
I wonder what's got more penetration. A 12 guage slug or a .50 black powder muzzle loader.
It's over for the Suburban if you're not riding in a 2024 or a 2025 that's pretty much a rap dog😅😅
Thanks 👍
Welcome 👍
just answered all my questions.thanks.
Just waiting for a depleted uranium slug.
Awesome video, just subbed
when is the cooking collaboration?
