I commented on this 4 years ago and man this tune still holds up like it did day one for me. Im glad i put it under a playlist otherwise I would of never found it again. time fucking flies....Hope you guys are still making music!
+WickedlNl thanks for your kind words! I'm still making music yeah soundcloud.com/midi-error
The "theme" is actually Megablast (Hip Hop on Precinct 13) by Bomb the Bass. David Whittaker converted it to the Amiga, and it was pretty faithful to the original. It actually mentions what the theme is called during the intro sequence of the game.
Absolutely great. I've been listening to it for the whole afternoon. Great job!
Im lovin this song! Downloaded it right away for my jogging sessions. Def some nostalgia sound going on there. Keep it up!
Trippy video. That and the relaxed nature of your treatment of this great tune really complement each other. Great work, sir!
Thanks man! I enjoyed making it...it`s not often I get round to making a music vid
Excellent! inspiring retro-style. I love the way you used and synchronized the video. Well done! ;-)
Brilliant! Really nicely done!
Xenon 2 was the first game I've ever played. Well done!
YESSS!! This is like some Nintendude stuff. Love it! Keep it up!
Wow! That was pretty awesome.
It was like a mix of my childhood (Xenon 2), 20's (rave & old Precinct 13 movie) and now my 40's (brain). Lol.
Thanks for the comments ! I really appreciate them. Another video is on the way soon....
AMAZING JUST AMAZING :D
Love it :)
Thanks, I love the video - I hear flaws in the music these days! I appreciate the support

@Yodude1017 and more recently pulled by midi error !! Thanks man, I really appreciate it
great
@RadeonThe1st thanks !
This song is based off a video game tune pulled from a Bomb the Bass track pulled from a John Carpenter song.
This is great stuff by the way, keep it up!
I let Andy Carroll listened this sound.
At the end of the track he was Rivaldo.
Beeeeeeenzaaaaaaaie
A slight error in your description i think.. The original music was by Bomb the bass (the song was called Mega blast) David Whittaker was responsible for the game music, but the original song was by bomb the bass.
@Nobby76 ah thanks for the info. I wasn`t too sure who made it; I have even heard a song that sounds just like it called `assassin` by Mark Shreeve. Check it out on youtube...let me know what you tink
@lazermaniac me
too
@lazermaniac your clearly a man/woman of good taste
I put the track on.
I left my room.
Mr Bean entered in my room.
The track finished.
When i came back i found Ethan Hunt with a sniper rifle and sun glasses talking russian in a satellite phone......
thanks ! check out my soundcloud page /midi-error
@WickedlNl excellent ! please check out my latest remix collection
I’ve probably listened to over 100 remix/rework versions of BTB’s Megablast over the years, and although some have been interesting, very few have caught my attention by doing something genuinely innovative that has elevated them above Whitaker’s original Atari ST arrangement. This is one of those few. Bravo.
Thanks, thats really kind! It was made on such a shitty laptop (and the video too). I appreciate your kind words!
