For the record, do you think he should call A8 in hand 4 when you had 8h6h? Would you call in his spot (because, as you guys mentioned, "nobody bluffs there"?)
Can tell that Jared is thinking about the game at a much deeper level than population and has put the work and hands in, i do not understand enough theory (not through lack of trying lol) to confidently make any of these plays but i would not argue with what he is saying, seems like a top bloke too, good show Nick pal !
This is definitely the sentiment I have too. If I saw these hands out of context I'd be convinced he's a whale but the justifications make a lot of sense to me! Thanks for watching.
MDA player on PONP, noice, love it. And he brought pure absolute spaff balls on as well, even better. Hand 1 is really good, for MDA reasons. Hand 2 I have no idea, seems close. Probably a punt with BU behind. Hand 3 is a pure spunk jizzer cream pie of a punt call just cos better hands could actually bluff here like 4x. Hand 4 is an insanely high level adjustment picking that River sizing, I think in conjuction to the Flop sizing you have to use that sizing to make it profitable. Also fits in to the point you make in the next hand where you talk about bluffing with no removal you use smaller sizings, it is funny you dismiss it in this hand but in the other hand it's really great, but the overfold is probably similar, and as he said he is making exploitative adjustments due to pool X/F too much and not X/R enough vs X/Y sizing, and even poor removal will not make up for pool's weaknesses. Hand 5 is fucking mental, but I think specific to that exact spot is really good bluff and good combo selection, also added to some secret MDA stuff regarding the Turn, on the face of it, looks punty but in a pure vacuum it is one of the best bluffs I have ever seen and only when I stop to think about it I admire it. Think Jared wins 3-2 in my book, Redline players have to stick together.
Another very interesting and informative video. I'm off to incorporate what I've learnt into my poker game....... A short while later....... Well I've dusted it all off haven't I
Late to the party on this one...Great video! Really love the discussion around blockers, until ranges narrow down in certain spots, (un)blockers often gets over used as an easy throwaway comment without the proper theoretical understanding.
Haha, I knew the flop call was bad. Like I said at the end, I slightly misread the board. But I had to sell it! Notice me saying folding is fine on flop. Haha
Does anybody know how to say fancy play syndrome.? Though I really like his King high call against the aces full. I mean that in full sincerity. My experience is population doesn’t bet like that with weak aces up.
Interested to know how the players at 2k NL on the American sites like Ignition compare with the regs at 2k NL on Stars in Europe? Assuming the games on Ignition are much softer, anyone know?
I think you went too easy on him in hand 1. Opponent's 1/2 pot river donk on a terrible runout for his range looks like a purple tag to me. So he's basically trying to bluff a purple tag off top pair lol. How is that not a punt...
For the record in the KQ hand, villain had AJo, in the 54 hand villain had T9hh.
wtf that AJ fold is atrocious
how do you know that he had T9, since he folded and didnt show his hand?
@@looper6394 on ignition, u can look up the hand on the client after and see all players hole cards after 24 hrs (since the site is anonymous)

This is one of the more interesting strategy discussions I've heard in a while in any forum.
thanks a lot Lee!
Nick’s instant reaction to the AJ9 all club flop when seeing Jalderman’s hand was the funniest part in a hilarious video hahaha 42:30
Because I know I have to try to sound like I know what I'm talking about when he bets 2/3 pot lol

I'm realizing I may have brought on too 'punty' of hands. Haha
You did your best to defend them mate, told you the comment section is brutal 😆

I play a decent amount of 1k ignition and 2k ignition
I have it as no punt on all 5
I don't know why, but I like this guy.
Fair enough!
This is the best poker series on youtube, thank you for the content man!
Much appreciated mate
Why is the Jd good in the kj hand? Isnt that blocking his potential fd bluffs

Is no one going to mention how dreadful that flop call with 54s is on the last hand... sick bluff either way
