Ricky and Amy have so much maturity and empathy. It's lovely to see how much they care about Denise, they have a great bond with her. They're far more mature than Jack could ever be.
I really like how much Amy cares about Denise has been there for her.That scene when they went on that car ride you could tell how much love she has for Denise just wanted her to be safe.

Diane Parish deserves multiple awards for her exceptional acting in this drawn-out storyline. Scott Maslen deserves better from the writers, completely destroying a once great character.

The actor who plays Ricky is awful. The way he delivers his lines is so dull and monotonous with zero emotion. I'm sure he's a nice kid but he badly needs acting lessons. It's made even worse when you see the actress who plays Amy. When you see them in scenes together she's a good actress so it just highlights how bad he is even more.
Seeing Ricky and Amy stick up for Denise just goes to show how much they’ve matured. Denise deserves better. So glad Amy and Ricky have made her see that.
Denise deserves better? Let's not forget that this whole cheating thing is a symptom of her affair with Ravi. They are as bad as each other and i believe the children don't know anything about her affair with Ravi, otherwise it would be a different story they'll definitely take their father's side over her who's not even their real mother.

Is it just me, or is Denise glowing ... looking better and better each episode? It could be in part that since slabilizing after going nutters, she seems much more grounded and her beauty is easier to see. Telling Jack she wants a divorce after his infidelity is also great.

No, she’s filing for a divorce
Jack should have reminded Denise that she started this by cheating on him with Ravi in the first place. That’s how all of this started to begin with
She only kissed Ravi and ended the relationship. He had full blown sex with Stacey. There's a great difference of how they cheated. Denise never went that far and he put himself in the position to go far with Stacey, even falling for her and telling her he loved her, Denise never loved Ravi - that was lust. And also, it was Jack who started this to begin with by distancing himself from her and shutting her out due to his children's issues. She was treated like a slave for his family and he was selfish and neglected her needs.
@@AdesewaAbioyeActually Denise did go to a hotel to meet with Ravi, She was in a room with him, got undressed and lay next to him in bed. Yes it was only kisses (more than one), but ultimately she wanted to be with Ravi but felt guilty so did not go through with it. By that time Jack suspected she may be on the verge of an affair with Ravi.
Even though Jack's attitude was rotten, he was gutted that he seemed to be losing Denise. That is why it was stupid of the writers to use Stacy as a rebound later on in the story. No reason or reality to it other than Stacy is a good mum who prioritises her children.
As for, Martin with his high and mighty attitude, he betrayed Stacy with Ruby and turned his back on her when Ruby framed her and caused her to go to prison when she was innocent. Where was Martin's honour then?
Jack even slept over at Stacy's house one night and they were kissing in the doorway as he left like a man kissing his wife as he left for work then lied to Denise that he was at work. Now he's free to move his mistress in with her kids and grandkids and be one bigger happy family. Stacey will finally get what she wanted all along to be in Denise's bed.
@@ami5183 that is almost incest due to them sharing a granddaughter) - imagine your mum and your partner's dad doing it - it's gross - it would make you into stepsiblings. I can't imagine how disgusted Lily and Ricky feel (even if they are not a couple, they have a child together). It's nasty for Jack and Stacey to be together, even outside of a cheating storyline

I agree, he’s been there for years now and most of his storylines are about his relationships. I think they need to give him a decent storyline that has nothing to do with having a relationship or write him out for a bit

Denise never had an affair with Ravi. She kissed him which was wrong, she did go to a hotel to meet up with him but she didn’t sleep with him or continue anything after Jack found out. He told Denise that it was over just before Christmas after Denise found out he and Stacey slept together, but they’ve continued since
Nowhere for Jack to go now, so surely he’ll be leaving in tomorrow’s episode? This storyline has totally destroyed him as a character.
