The best performance in the movie is by Bombay Jayashri and I won't hear arguments to the contrary.
Also dont think i caught next weeks movie… it would be cool if u can announce the next movie so that we can also watch the movie before hand.
After watching this, I went and rewatched this movie and realized how crazy it is that this movie flopped, but Kabir Singh was a hit decade later.
The world is def headed towards the worse. The boys in 2000s were smarter to not like this movie but the boys now are loving it. And girls liking Maddy is just beyond me. No wonder abuse is so common.

CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED MOVIE in terms of pop culture. Each and every actor has KILLED IT in their roles and it's a shame that even though the movie has several top notch comedic and meme worthy moments, it still doesn't get the attention it deserves!! Do consider it, pretty please? ❤️

I enjoyed this episode immensely, though there is one thing I wish was discussed in further detail, while it was addressed but only a mention with some discussion in the episode. That would be the dynamic between Rajeev and Maddy while they were rivals there is one thing Maddy in the College sees everyone as beneath him except for Sam, who is probably the only one who has the courage to stand up to him and as a result he sees him more as an equal. Which is why he offers him the cigarette at the graduation and they also have good banter in that scene.
I remember during the release of this movie, they had a promotional campaign where they released five title tracks and based on audience polls, they would select one track to be featured in the movie.
Ya i was also thinking the same thing that they will mention this fact.

In _Tanu Weds Manu_ and _Tanu Weds Manu Returns,_ the title characters are both pretty toxic, just in different ways, and Manu’s toxicity is much more obvious in the sequel. At the end of the second movie, I remember thinking, “These two psychos deserve each other,” and felt like Tanu’s lookalike (can’t remember the character’s name, it’s been a while) had a lucky escape when Manu dumped her to go back to Tanu.

No hate to raunak, he was funny all through, but how can someone who has not "aged" with the movie, opine on how the movie has "aged"
90% of the 10 year old movies would be toxic or problematic or filled with material for comedians.. that means nothing to someone who has even 1% of nostalgia
I don't think you need to belong to a certain age group to comment on a movie or song. These different perspectives kinda remind us that we've come far enough as a society to call a spade a spade and not make excuses for toxic behavior. And it is this criticism that actually got us here. It's a win-win according to me.
The whole point of has is aged well is this! Someone watching it today without the Nostalgia factor, do they like it or find it toxic.
Ofcourse anyone who loved it growing up will ignore the toxicity or annoying parts. Someone new watching it can give a proper has it aged well so is it still enjoyable in today times.

Abbas's takes fall flat many a times, even though they are right, is because he is terrible at selling them.
Andrew Schulz on Flagrant says some the most horrible wrong shit, but he is master of selling them with banger punchlines.
You can’t gauge this movie with today’s woke sensibilities. Getting girl by hook or by crook was basically love for many of us back then. It doesn’t mean that’s right. For you it was movie, for many of us it was showing actions a guy takes to get his love. Not like Dil To pagal hai! There someone somewhere for you , just wait… what??????

You contradict yourself. On one hand you have the sensibilities to understand that wasn't right but at the same time you're justifying toxic and dangerous behaviours that in real life does not always work like a movie, it sometimes culminates to crimes.

Don't bring haters to these podcasts. It's one thing to not like a film, but this guest outright hates it which just ruins the show. He's free to like or dislike media, but you know moderation is important for a podcast to sound interesting.
I connected with everything the guest said so everyone has different preferences.
The title of the show is “Has It Aged Well?,” not “Three People Sit Around For An Hour Lavishing Praise On Old Movies You Love.” Plus, it sounds like this movie was super-regressive and generally sucked. And Raunaq is funny as hell in crapping on what is apparently a turdburger of a movie. If anything, they should do stuff like this more.

The movie is from perspective of a average, middle class boy who firstly is doing Mechanical engineering 😢 so obviously NO girls hence the way he behaves in college. This fact cannot age and so does the movie. Raunak will not understand this perspective hence he is hating the film. Don't brimg him😅

Guys aren’t entitled to female attention. Maybe these guys simply aren’t getting attention from the women they want attention from, which isn’t the same thing as being ignored completely by women. Or maybe women aren’t attracted to creepy weirdos (engineers or not) who act out when they don’t get female attention.
Sadly, I know we’ll never get an episode like this again, but this was one of HIAW’s funniest. Raunaq is hilarious, first of all. And I don’t think I’d ever even heard of this movie until this episode came out, much less seen it, but my impression is that it’s a garbage flick with a hardcore fan base of toxic males-a group of supreme jackasses that I enjoy seeing get triggered. (And that especially includes that Prasad doofus who threateningly tweeted “jaan hai meri” about this movie. I don’t know him, I’ve never met him, but I know he sucks.)
