- Hello everyone! Today we'll be making wizards and witches' back to school miniatures including: magic wand, broom, travel size cauldron, parchment scrolls and sheets, inkwell and quill, toad, crystal ball, telescope and wooden trunk!
I also have tutorials on how to make a polymer clay skull and miniature spell books, I didn't add them to this video because it would have been way too long (links below).

🍓 BAKING TIPS:
I bake my polymer clay pieces in a kitchen oven at 110 -125ºC for 30 minutes.
Do not exceed 130ºC or you will burn your polymer clay.
Always read the baking instructions for your particular brand of polymer clay, as temperatures and times may vary slightly.

I love your trunk. And Trevor is very cute. Looks like a really good first-year trunk.
Trevor is the cutest toad!!! I made my own Hogwarts trunk a few years ago, and filled it with scrolls, parchment paper, wand, and a real feather quill! I bought the trunk from Michael's, and painted it, and lined it with red felt. I liked watching you make all of your miniatures, and especially Trevor. Thanks for sharing! ~Janet in Canada

Thank you Amanda! Wow...I don't think I ever heard of anyone named Maive, yes Maeve, so I am surprised! My parents chose my name from a list of Mapuche names, a native Argentine tribe (I'm from Argentina) so I wonder if the Irish I know Maeve/Maive to be Irish)culture ever had an influence on them or if it's just a coincidence. This tribe goes back a long time, way before the Spanish Conquistadores, so it's interesting how they ended up with a similar word/name. In Mapuche, Maive means sweet and docile :) Lots of love Amanda and Happy New Year! X

I've got into polymer clay in 2010/11, but I don't consider myself a miniaturist, for "miniaturists" are more strict when it comes to measures since they make miniature replicas of real things whereas I like to have more freedom to mix different elements and create something in a size I think works for that. I live in the UK and no, I didn't go to art school 😊
Well Maive ....hello to you from the USA actually Northeast Tennessee, my borders are Southwest Virginia and North Carolina. So you can see on the map. I live just outside the national Forest (I-26) in Johnson City TN. I got in polymer clay about a month ago to make fairy houses (made 3 actually). So I am a newbie, really not an artist but studied calligraphy, but just don't have the space for all the calligraphy stuff now. I am disabled and have environmental illness so I am house bound but I try to get out if I have to go shopping for food and stuff for the house. I want to try UV Resin next but kinda weiry of it because of the smell, is the smell bad for the UV Resin? Love watching your videos.
