  • Info starts at 1:40, I try to help you figure out if the Staccato C2 is for you. I don't believe in being able to buy performance, skill, or proficiency. With that said buying a $2500+ gun will not make you a better shooter. If you can't run your preferred gun currently buying another gun is not going to solve that issue. I do love my staccato buy I was already pretty proficient with my Glock 19. It could be whatever gun you currently have get good, and then upgrade if you feel the need. Be ready so you don't got to get ready.

    Hey man. Nice sterntot reviews. Love my staccatos, and carry my c2 daily.
    It’s certainly a subjectively nice platform, and I dig my Cajun cz’s ALMOST as much, but the staccato’s and atlas’ (not a nighthawk fan anymore) come with they extra level of refinement.
    Subbed for sure

      I appreciate the sub. Thank you, I definitely love my staccatos. I just wish they weren't an arm and leg to buy 😅

    Price is steep for sure. I would suggest compact M&P 2.0 over a Glock. Good video.

      @ArmedCitizensEvolution  Před dnem

      Yeah, I love the M&P 2.0 as well, especially after they got rid of that stupid hinge trigger.

    Grip tape on the bottom of the trigger guard to help mitigate recoil? I understand it for the sake of a reference point, but pressure up, in the same direction as recoil and/or muzzle flip, can not help reduce recoil.

    • @ArmedCitizensEvolution
      @ArmedCitizensEvolution  Před 3 měsíci

      No, I don't push up into the trigger guard. If anything, I push away on it. Idk if that makes sense. My support hand and support pinky do most of the work.

    Good video. If I may suggest something... Change out your X300U-A to the X300U-B so you add an Antimatter Wing to better manage your recoil impulse. (The Wing only works with the X300U-B, the one with the bolt attachment). You'll love how much flatter the C2 will shoot after adding the Wing. I run this same set up on my C2. Game changer, especially with the Vulcan Machine Werks Stacports.

      @ArmedCitizensEvolution  Před 3 měsíci

      Lol, I appreciate the suggestion. The reason it looks like the muzzle flip is aggressive is because I shot it in slow motion. In person, you probably couldn't even tell my gun has any muzzle flip. I advocate against those items. Those are gimmicky at best, in my opinion. I subscribe to Scott jedlinski, the modern samurai grip methodology.

    Did the red dirt trigger drop in or require fitting?

    • @ArmedCitizensEvolution
      @ArmedCitizensEvolution  Před 4 měsíci +1

      It's was a straight drop-in, no fitting required. Why I went with them over the others. Plus, the screw system was easy to adjust vs. the tabs, in my opinion.

      I’m not the poster, but I’ve got a ‘custom’ ported c2, Gen 1 tree bark grip, and a red dirt f3 trigger with a few other small changes (adjusted sear spring, x series cuts, all worthless crap)
      My red dirt fit into the grip perfectly, but the bow was slightly longer than factory, and required a tiny bit of filing/polishing for the grip safely not to lock up. I went slow, didn’t make major changes, and it works just like factory. If you need pointers, they’re out there, and feel free to reply and I’m happy to help.

    • @ArmedCitizensEvolution
      @ArmedCitizensEvolution  Před 3 měsíci

      The F3 size. I believe it was equivalent to the stock size. I may be wrong, but it's the F3 for sure.

    Steve Jobs said:
    " wearing a $300 or $30 watch - they both tell the same time… Whether we carry a $300 or $30 wallet/handbag - the amount of money inside is the same; Whether we drive a $150,000 car or a $30,000 car, the road and distance is the same, and we get to the same destination. Whether we drink a bottle of $300 or $10 wine - the hangover is the same; Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3000 sq ft - loneliness is the same". Now you know what worth or not. You be the judge.

      If buying an expensive gun keeps you lonely, definitely don't buy it. It is better to invest that money in family and memories. Why I advocate for proficiency with whatever you have on hand instead of hoping a gun or accessories will improve your skill.

    STI before they became Staccato did indeed make guns that could be a top tier shooter. No longer. That is where Atlas, SVI Infinity and a few others come in. Staccato simply does not make a top tier gun. Staccato in no way comes with the refinement of a gun such as Atlas, Much less SVI. The fire control group is not hand fit but simply drop in parts. That and although it is claims that there are no mim parts, my hammer is already work out in 10 mo n ths of owning it and I don't compete. Dead soft. If it is indeed fully machined, they forgot to heat treat it or the DLC process temp was too high lowering it hardness far too much.

      I don't think Staccato is playing in the custom sector anymore for a reason. They went to a mass production quality "2011" I don't think they market themselves as a custom shop. Where I can go to a local gun store and pick up a Staccato vs. where I would have to wait for weeks to months for an arguably "better" quality gun. The return on investment doesn't go up just because you pay more. In the end, I'd rather have 2 staccatos vs. 1 Infinity.

      @@ArmedCitizensEvolution Sounds like the same old argument that I would rather have 5 glocks that one Staccato. My point is that charge Custom prices and they are not made to the quality they charge for.
      I will give you a for instance. They are charging 500 bucks for a poly grip upgrade now. Wilson Combat offers a Poly grip for the 320 for 89 bucks. 500+ for a poly giip is outrageous. Several companies make very high quality Steel and Alu grips for the same kind of money. worse, Staccato will void your warranty if you so much as remove the Grip for full cleaning Much less relacing a trigger and bow. What other company making 1911 or 2011's void your warranty for removing a grip? None. NONE!!!
      Before you go off on me, know that my EDC is a Staccato C-2,. But it in no way matches any of my hard fit very well known Customs which several cost less than the very inflated Prices from Staccato brought on by so much paid for press on the Tube.
      I also have STI's that are far superior to the current products. (DVC'S)
