These companies really need to sell accessory packs separately from the figure. I’m glad that Mezco has done this to offset the DC mandate.
McFarlane might be hesitant to do that, don’t want to piss off WB…
@@dHuntersReviews he packs guns with his Spawn figures. The figures aren’t supposed to be advertised or sold with guns. A weapons pack sold separately should not be a factor you don’t have to even put the DC name on it like Mezco does.
Spawn is allowed to have guns, I’m just saying, we don’t know how things work behind the scenes, maybe they have a rocky relationship with Warner Bros. as it is and don’t want to push the envelope, we just don’t know.
Accessory pack sounds amazing if they could do it at their website.
Mezco only got around it due to promoting it for their doc nocturnal figure had they not we probably wouldn't have even got it
@@diegolaradiaz8948 that’s what I’m saying you can have an accessory pack without mentioning DC with it. You can use any character with guns and make them at least similar to the DC versions. Mezco found away to do it the other companies can to if they care to kit might be more work on their part though which is why they haven’t done it. The statement from WB is their toys cannot come with toys it never stated anything about guns being sold separately from their products.
Very well done Joker!. Have the Joker robber, which is one you didn't show and is a solid figure. Haven't got any recent Mafex because price and some are a bit delicate. If a GL comes out,,,well that could be an instant buy! Very good review as always!
I forget he's a Joker figure, I use him as a Joker thug.
I can appreciate the honest perspective here. Not everyone will gravitate towards this rendition of Joker, which does skew a bit more stylized and cartoony. But for me that’s what I love the most. This is absolutely Jim Lee’s vision of Joker. You can even see this in the 3d model for Joker in the DCUO game as well. This’ll probably be my go-to til MAFEX does a more classic Killing Joke or Death in the Family Joker.
It’s an ok figure, I like the head, but the body not so much.
Awesome! The only channel where you can see every version of a DC figure; just like how you can see all incarnations of Marvel figures on TalkerArt's channel. Really been wanting to see this one compared to the DC Direct version. Was never a fan of that one with the ventriloquist dummy mouth. And glad they didn't put the little devil horns on the hair of this one. For whatever reason I became a mega Batman figure collector, and have to get a Joker for every Batman I get. This one's definitely in my top 5 best Joker's ever made...even with the lack of the BANG revolver. Too bad you can't remove the one from the DC Direct figure.
A lot of people seem to really like this joker, he’s probably not even in my top 10. He’s a little bit too small and I don’t like the way the body looks.
It looks good. Will you be getting and reviewing the mortar kombat joker soon?
Yeah, allegedly it arrives this week from Amazon.
Some company could make a killing (no pun intended) just making 1/12 guns accessories
Yeah, seems like there should be more options for 1/12 and 1/10 general accessories.
I really like this figure. How does it look with the Mafex Batman DKR?
Good, thin.
Hey does anybody know the name of the first wrestling figure on the far left when D compares this joker to the wrestling figures. I’d like to track one down for a custom idea..?
Which one? Jakks Pacific, Mattel WWE, or Jazwares AEW?
@@dHuntersReviews Thanks for the response. I’m sorry, I mean the Jakk’s Pacific Figures. The first one on the far left. Who is that? I’d like to track one down for a more realistic sized kingpin in my spider-man movie display.
Kurt Angle in a suit, I got him as a regular civilian or mobster type person.
The guns from revoltech work great with this.
I have that figure
Will this joker head fit on mafex dark knight returns joker?🧐
Remind me and I’ll check later
When do you the Batman three jokers wave and when will you be reviewing them
I will definitely be reviewing them, allegedly I should get them on Monday from Amazon… But we will see.
Hope we get alternate head for this joker it looks good but i also want alternate heads for this figure
It comes with two heads and I really doubt we’re going to get any more heads for him and future releases.
@@dHuntersReviews was thinking maybe other comic jokers get released that i can use this body for it, head is to stylizes for me. But i still ended up buying 2 haha, one to open and the other to open when the first breaks
Wow, I thought the body was way too stylized I don’t like the way the body looks I thought the head was pretty good though
Hoping for a MAFEX Commissioner Gordon
Yes please, and Alfred
3D Sculptors with Printers need to produce 1/12 guns for DC figures
Amen!
It’s not too big of a deal to me, have tons and tons of guns, but they need to get rid of this god awful policy.
Imagine if we got arkham city mafex figures... those would be so cool!!
Yes please!
Amazing Yamaguchi Joker makes this one obsolete imo.
Are you for real? That figure looks so absolutely terrible in my opinion
I honestly don’t understand how anyone can think those figures look good and it’s not like I don’t own him, I do
@@dHuntersReviews Ummm yeah that Yamaguchi one looks overengineered and sloppy. Those revoltech figs seem to have corrected a lot of that jagged weirdness with the newer ones, but that Joker is hideous (and not in a good way, lol)
Yeah, I’m truly interested to hear peoples opinions that like it because I think he looks so bad, but I know people like him
Do you still review Hasbro Fortnite figures?
I would like to, I have them all, just too much stuff to review, prioritizing Batman stuff first.
One of the best j9ker figures but but the no gun rule is ruining it is batman the ceo of wb or something
It’s an ok Joker.
I really like Mezco but it’s way out of budget for me
They cost about the same
@@dHuntersReviews haha i actually meant mafex my bad.
I can't believe he doesn't have bicep swivel. They did that with hush and I thought it must have been an oversight but here it is again... not having bicep swivel severely hinders the amount of posing you can achive... I really hope they don't pull this again.
They seem to not like putting a bicep cut on suited bodies.
@@dHuntersReviews thats so wierd. I hope nightwing, harley and huntress have them
I hope so too
They don’t seem to like to break the sculpt on a suit jacket
@@devinkavanaugh1034 they will. You can see the bicep swivels in their pics
I always have people tell me they don't like the way that Jim Lee draws joker, but I disagree immensely
It’s ok, very stylized, don’t think it translates to figure form very well.
lol have you ever gave anything a 9 or 10/10? I have watched a lot of your videos and yet to see one…
I gave the Mattel Alfred a 9.5 and the platinum bale Batman a nine those are the only ones I can think of
@@dHuntersReviewswow why is your scale so rigid ? I think Batman Hush an easy 10 and union maestro fury planet veteran Williams werewolf are easy 10s in my book.
A 10 is a PERFECT score
There is no perfect figure
Hush Batman too tall and has the neck and head one solid piece
A 10 would be a perfect figure that could not be improved in any way shape or form
Pretty cool looking Joker. However, this figure is definitely aimed at adult collectors, so there is no good reason why he shouldn't have come with a gun accessory. Him being framed for shooting Thomas Elliot is the main reason Joker is in the story in the first place. Plus the iconic splash page form the comic has him crouching and holding a gun with a "BANG" flag. Not including that accessory with this figure is just stupid and screams of unnecessary virtue signaling.
Not Mafex’s fault, but Warner Brothers who they license the figures through.
@@dHuntersReviews Yeah I know. My point is that WB should make exceptions for high-priced import figures clearly meant for adult collectors.
I agree, I understand if a figure is above a certain price point, they can contain guns. The price point is above Mezco/Mafex though...maybe like Hot Toys...the whole thing is ridiculous.
