The systems that we found were never meant to accommodate us. There’s so much that is required from us to have impactful participation in the economy. Guarantees and collaterals required for business funding is impossible for our people to have while struggling with basic needs. Complaining does not assist in anyway but I am working on an initiative that is aimed at emerging businesses, support spaza shop owners, talented individual in innovative space to be given a chance to penetrate the market . Any viable business idea deserves to be given a chance. I wish the same energy maybe replicated in all parts of the republic because that is true freedom. Having our own value chain. Having our own systems. And thanks for acknowledging the hardships we find ourselves in as the majority of South African. Indeed tenders are funded by capitalists and blacks are used as fronting. Let’s us build what works for us than to expect help from somewhere.

The concept of tenders and affirmative action is a great way for empowering disadvantaged blacks, the problem and the reason why amaTender have a bad connotation around them is because people mismanage them and use them as a vehicle to enrich themselves kphela
Otherwise great interview, can't wait for another chat with phesheya

Levels of honesty Duma has presented🙌🏽🙌🏽. Isifundo sithi "sbenza kanzima ukuze iyngane zakho zizoqhubeka la ogcine khona" not to start all over from scratch.

Yho, corrupt tenders are no anomaly sir. Political principals do climb down and in fact often instruct the end users to create the 'need'. Rigging and political interference galore. That's just what it is.
