This is Grandma from Texas. I’m 70 soon. I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since I was 16. I have heard this precious old hymn countless times I have also heard countless renditions. This is by far the best of my whole life. The surprise for me was that as a Metal singer, he sang with such reverence and respect that I feel as though he personally knows about the words he is singing All of Heaven must have stood still when he lifted up his voice to sing Amazing Grace. This performance is amazingly well built up and what a voice! Daniel Vasconselos is a Brazilian singer who started his carreer as a metal singer, but later he took vocal courses and that reflects in his perfromances. He's got a metal band called Fearless.

Like a lot of people, this video was my first introduction to the wonder that is Daniel Vasconcelos aka Dan Vasc. This dropped around Good Friday of this year (2023), and has absolutely blown up!!
Dan has spent most of his adulthood training both his voice and body to be the best version of himself that he possibly can be... and it's paying dividends for him. His channel has grown exponentially since this one, from around 700k, to now over 800k in just a few months,,, he is working towards that magic 1million!! He currently has a small wager with a fellow CZcamsr, Nerdrotic, the first to reach 1million subs is the winner, if Dan loses he has to something about "man buns are gay" and the other bloke, who has a firm dislike of Bon Jovi, has to sing one of their songs... all meant in fun...
For a more comprehensive look at Dan's work, go back to the beginning of his channel there's a video of a very young, very green Daniel recording his audition to be DragonForce's singer. If you watch each video in chronological order, you can see the dedication and discipline to the training. There's a variety of musical genres that Dan has covered, everything from the 80s to male versions of female songs to metal to Elvis to Christmas to stage musicals to opera,,,yes opera...and each one is better than the previous one. His range is incredible. He does most of the production stuff too. He also has a metal band, Fearless, with his brother Davi, and a couple of childhood friends, Gabriel and Giovanni. They recorded an album a few years ago, "Chronicles Of Ancient Wisdom". It's very good, and I'm not what you would call a die hard metal head...
He is a gorgeous man, vocally and physically... and ooohhh soooo easy on the eyes 😏... that hair, those lashes, my word, and that body,,, my oh my...🤤🥰 The whole package is extremely well presented 😉

Dan is the man!! Never have I heard a more beautiful and masterful performance of this old timeless hymn! And I grew up in church. My father was a Pastor (still is at age 78!) I'm a PK (Preacher's Kid) and have suggested this and heard it probably thousands of times throughout my lifetime. The harmonica gets me every single time because my beloved Granny played it beautifully. I want this version at my funeral!! Can't wait to sing with him in Heaven!! God bless you and all who hear it! Amazing reaction my lady....to an amazing song. I think of him singing this as an anthem. The way it should be. I'm not a church person, but definitely a follower of Christ. Every time I hear this, I am flooded with emotions.
While Dan Vasc has God given talent, I am not much of a fan of his other covers. By no means are they bad, they're just not my thing. He's an amazing talent, and brilliant young man. Simply, we like different types of rock. I would do almost anything to have 1/10 of his talent.

I love how raw & delicate he started the song even with the slight echo & with each verse exposing more talent & intensity. Dan Vasc has a God given talent that he has worked very hard to perfect into what it is today. He sang this song the way it was MEANT to be sung with such respect, emotion & with a POWERFUL impact. I love the "Reaction Video," but these advertisers are hurting themselves by interrupting in the middle of the song. It's extremely irritating! Do it at the beginning OR at the end, and it's not so bad.
I'd say maybe you could find a reaction channel that does what you prefer to watch. So far, They get to choose how they react and we get to choose who we like!

Great hymn but you stopped the video so many times it disrupted the flow of the song and singer.
I think maybe that's OK to hear what she was thinking and feeling at that moment. So much happens by the end those moments could be lost. However, listening all the way through (over and over) is THE best!
