That's because the refs were reminded that the hand check rule exists, so the Wolves weren't able to play physical defense. That's why Nuggets looked faster in this game and that's why they looked static in first two games.

I kept saying Jamal Murray needed to pick up the pace. He has a problem with walking the ball up the court and playing at a real slow pace. Tonight he did a good job with playing at a faster pace.

Stephen A had his soul stolen by the Pacers first and then his new Michael Jordan was a no show he wasnt even the 4th best player on the court and sweep prediction went up in flames. Well, the silver lining in this disastrous effort for Minnesota, was the fact that they acknowledged they never came close to playing their best to the game, and that they didn't play up to their abilities.
Saying that about themselves regarding Game 3, and playing their best in Game 4, are two different things.
Minnesota HAS to know they can't go back to Denver at 2-2.
They must win game 4, which will give them a Game 6 opportunity to close out the series, if they should come out flat again in Game 5.
Kudos to Mike Malone for having his team play like the defending champions they are.
