- This is the Liberation of Caen (British) campaign playthrough for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts with no commentary.
Playing on normal difficulty.
I am planning to complete all primary objectives and secondary objectives, as well as getting the award/badge/medal for each mission.
Loading times have been sped up to save time.
Graphics on ultra settings.

Really Well done with this, and now this campaign has come to an end, and this game is completed, and you gotten everything, mighty wonderful job, keep doing a great job, I look forward to much more.
Very good play style. I played with hard and they 1 shot at all my tanks. I lost 9 tanks first time there.
On expert, the King and JadgTigers oneshot everything, including infantry units. Its a nightmare
Damn. Even on normal, they are pretty tough, they can either 1 or 2 shots my tanks. The Cromwell and Sherman Firefly gets destroyed in 1 hit, while the Churchill tanks takes 2 hits, but with just the first hit, they are down to like 10% health.
That's why I was playing carefully at the end, building AT defences for the tanks on the left side of the village and using my tanks for the right side, but using the infantry squad 'button' ability to try to disable the enemy tanks first. The Sherman firefly are the most helpful against the tanks since they fire AT rounds from a long range but have weak armour, so best to keep them as far back as possible.

Yep, they have buffed stats in this particular mission. This makes the "minimize tank losses" objective almost impossible.

I was going full commandos by spamming PIAT commandos and Bren infantry section, thus i can achieve minimize tank casualties as they dont mention about how much i can lose my infantry to a bloody King tiger 2 mgs

I heard that feral interactive will be releasing a IOS and Android version this year. Can't wait to have one. Anyways very well played.

I use Bandicam.

There is both a free version and a paid version. I use the paid version. The free version has some limitations, like there is a 'Bandicam' watermark on your recordings and you are limited to 10 minutes per recording/video.

ah yes, the times when the Churchill was....crap lol
It comes very fast (provided you're willing to spare the MP), but it deals basically no damage against anything, unlike the CoH 2 Churchill that is incredibly tough and has firepower like a medium tank, the CoH 1 Churchill was basically ignorable to a degree, it'll even lose a 1 on 1 against a Marder that's locked down.
It used to be good in multiplayer though if you could rush it and then had a tank that no early game AT could do anything against and could just waltz through any defences. By the time your opponent got serious AT, they should have lost a chunk of the map and/or a load of units.

I do plan to do a playthrough on Company of heroes 2, but I'm not sure when I will be working on it, sometime in the unknown future i guess.

Most definitely not. Not till they fix the game and add all the missing features. Have not bought it and will not for a long time.
