I just visited Thailand for the first time in late April: stayed in Pattaya and few days in Bangkok. Wanted to do a day trip to Udon Thani but decided not to on my first trip because of the scorching heat that time of year.
I have a return to Thailand the fourth week of October. I am assuming weather will be at least favorable for me through wherever I go south/north pr countryside like Udon Thani-Issan.
