    Mind blowing video about the advanced technology used in Mumbai's public transport system. The double decker buses have been around for many years but what we are witnessing today in Mumbai are the world's best buses, they have undergone a huge transformation in terms of luxury and safety and most importantly they also utilise sustainable sources of energy which also is beneficial to retain a pollution free environment. Mumbai is on its way to become one of the most powerful cities in the world owing to tremendous growth and advancement of infrastructure and commercial prowess. This will put Mumbai in the league of extraordinary cities of the world such as Dubai and New York. What's more amazing and unique is the fact that majority of the technology, innovation and manufacturing has been done in India itself. Proudly made in India. Mumbai is not just about the slums of Dharavi, there is a whole new luxury side to it which many people from foreign countries don't show. The jaw-dropping British era buildings, the stylish modern era skyscrapers, the multi billion dollar construction projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Mumbai Coastal Road project, the NYC type of skyline visible from the Bandra-Worli sea link, all of it lit up at night with colorful lights makes Mumbai the World's No. 1 contender for the next New York City, the financial capital of the world! #trending #sealink

      @SshivamKhopkar Dude I don't know which people you are surrounded by or where you stay but people in Mumbai are more friendly and helpful than the rest of India. Mumbai is the safest city to get around even after midnight, till wee hours and most importantly women feel more safe in Mumbai than any other city of India. Also there is absolutely no feeling of seclusion or loneliness, the nightlife is great and everyone lives in harmony. If you go anywhere post 10 pm anywhere else in India, it's definitely not as safe as Mumbai. This is exactly the reason why foreigners prefer it more than any other city. People here are more progressive and open than the rest of the country. Also I did notice that you commented negatively about Mumbai elsewhere also, so it's probably some personal issue of yours but majority of people just love Mumbai's spirit of welcoming people from across the world but unfortunately there are a few people from our own country who cannot stand the respect and adulation it receives from the world but eventually the truth always shines but those people will continue to live in denial and keep spreading negativity or rumours manufactured with the sole aim of disreputing this amazing city.

      Thankyou! I highly appreciate your comment. On the other hand there are some people in my own country who do not think progressively either due to the lack of knowledge or foresight! I cannot blame them as most of them are not well informed and are just bred on negativity and pessimism regurgitated by their co - ill informed sources who think about infrastructure development as some sort of a fast food experiment. It's my endeavour to make people realise the tremendous potential of India in the long term. Hope your comment helps in transforming the nay sayers and encourage them to realise the true potential of what's about to be unveiled in front of them in the next 5-7 years. Jai Hind!

      Behaviour is improving but a lot depends on the educational infrastructure as well, the kind of schools parents send their kids to because those are the places where the values of cleanliness and public manners are inculcated. Simple things like stopping at a red signal are ignored because even their parents disobey the rules. The schools which actually make a good impact have very high fees and so majority of kids go to sub standard institutions where they only focus on academics and ignore everything else but things will improve if these kids follow the right kind of influencers on social media, those influencers who don't get pineapple haircuts for instance or who don't believe in making cringe bollywood acting related funny content or wearing luxury goods but who believe in the value of education and decency. This is how the future generation can be moulded into better individuals and ultimately every city and village will benefit.

      I know for a fact that it's going to designed so well that it's going to exceed people's expectations. Also don't be mistaken that only poor people live in Dharavi. It's infact home to businesses run by some of the richest people and also there are many cunning rich people who have bought properties there to benefit enormously through the redevelopment scheme. They invested in it thinking of it like a multibagger stock and now they will reap the benefits.

    Suggestions: 1) The colour of Mumbai taxi needs to be changed from black to white with yellow border intact. (2) Overall neatness and cleaniless of the street should be ensured and keep thre roads even dust-free like foreign countries. (3) Buildings should be periodically painted and maintained. (4) The middle portion of the bus should also be red and white line instead of more blackish. 👍🏻

      @sudhansupanigrahy9130 Před 6 měsíci

      I also agree with your suggestions. Although the quality of roads improved lately it still needs more improvement. The vacant space between the roads and road side buildings should be filled properly and there should not be any open soil unless planted because open soil near the roadside makes the road full of dust. Further roads should have laning marks and have proper marked parking space like international cities. However Mumbai is getting more beautiful day by day and hope in the next five to 10 years it will achieve true international standard in each aspect. Thanks for the beautiful video and post videos like this more often.

    I'm an Indian who moved at the age of 21 to US. I am 39 now. I've traveled a lot of countries in the world and have realized one thing, cleanliness has nothing to do with money. I used to think India is dirty because it's poor, but I've visited countries poorer than India and they were cleaner. Completely blew my mind away. Now I believe that cleanliness has to do with population. India is dirty because of a lot of people. This is a great video about Mumbai though. I've never been there. I want to go there once atleast. I believe this is close to the best India has to offer.

    I would love to see Mumbai in its original color only, no need to copy Dubai or New York because Mumbai has a different vibe and people who have spent their childhood here can relate to it.. Only basic things like cleanliness, roads and other infra should be developed and maintained.
    I stay in Dubai but always want to come back in Mumbai because this is the place where i grew up and it will never leave my body even if I stay in any part of the world✌✌

    • @SwapyBond
      @SwapyBond  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The vibe you are talking about will always be there as long as the original inhabitants and the people who were born here continue to stay here instead of going to foreign countries. People make the vibe, the buildings or the infrastructure is like an accessory to the original feel of the city. So basically the combination of people of Mumbai and Dubai or New York like Infrastructure is going to make it overtake many developed cities of the world because nowhere in the world there are so many festivals being celebrated on such a grand scale and also financially its setting new records.

    • @SwapyBond
      @SwapyBond  Před 6 měsíci

      The density of population is not the issue, it’s the management of that population which was the issue. However with the influx of new age infrastructure projects and fast paced decision making and approvals, Mumbai is expanding and the creation of a Third Mumbai is already underway, so in a way there is a lot of scope now to decongest and re organise stuff which previously were handled by some incapable or less qualified people, now everything is being done with a vision and studying all the permutations and combinations because that’s how foreign direct investment will grow and those who did not have faith in Mumbai will start worshipping it in the next decade but sadly they won’t be able to afford living here.

      All the things you mentioned are fixable and certainly not something that will require an out of the world solution. What I am seeing right now is that we are inching towards betterment and everything will eventually get sorted out. It's the educated youth of the country who will have the power to make changes now and these changes will be visible sooner than people expect. There were deliberate attempts made to stall key projects in the past, I have made a video about them. There have been deliberate attempts to make sub standard roads in the past for the benefit of family businesses. However all of that is in the past now, their days are numbered. So all that is required now is a little self belief and faith in the system and also voices like me that can reach the people in power so that they know that I have an eye on them, they are being watched.

    People don't move to newyork or Singapore because of traffic and infrastructure. Dubai is way inferior than mumbai. That's a problem in all big cities, but they feel out of place here. Government does nothing to make sure people feel they belong here. They treat people like shit in government offices, police stations. Going for public services such as education and healthcare is considered down market here despite paying 30% taxes. Plus, Unlike foreign government, India doesn't have a system that rewards their assets and high value individual to stay in India. Hence, we leave.

No other country had to face that in the history of the world! Mumbai was bombarded with huge problems from other parts of India as well as from outside. Our own neighbours created problems which affected India and in turn Mumbai, war like situations affected progress. Also the political structure was also compromised, the original inhabitants were not treated properly and this led to internal conflict. It's only after going through all the difficulties that Mumbai came out more stronger and powerful than ever before. People realised the power of unity and how being divided was affecting the nation's progress. That's why people in Mumbai are more united than ever before, they know how they were being used. With time, the policy makers changed, youth became more educated and devised a more fruitful plan for Mumbai and that's why we see it progressing tremendously now. Dubai never had the issues Mumbai had to face for over 50 years.

      Don’t spew bulshit propaganda, do you know when Dubais one religion people were ruling India, India was called sone ki chi diya golden bird of the world once and British also helped in the development of India like ports railways airlines once other people started ruling it is all down hill from then onwards.

      No doubt other cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, etc are developing really fast, but believe me it's gonna take them multiple years possibly decades to even reach at the current level of Mumbai.. I live in Mumbai and you won't believe me how many buildings, towers and skyscrapers have popped out of nowhere in the past 5 years.. I myself am shocked at the speed of development in Mumbai especially after covid, every direction I look there's either some tower under construction or metro work going on or road project or something 😂 There are almost 10 metro projects and 2 major bridge and coastal road projects under construction here in Mumbai.. Even while holding the title of most developed city of India, Mumbai is still developing even more, can you imagine? I'm 20 and ever since I was born I don't think I've ever witnessed power outage, there's 24/7 electricity and gas pipeline in the city unless there's some TATA or Adani work going on which happens once in like 2-5 years. A massive upgrade of the city is happening in Mumbai and it's surrounding districts like Navi Mumbai and Thane.. In fact I would be happy if we could declutter Mumbai because it's too congested and chaotic but that's how Mumbai is..
      Hyderabad is Hyderabad, similarly Kolkata is Kolkata, Bengaluru is Bengaluru, Chennai is Chennai, Delhi is Delhi and Mumbai is Mumbai, we don't need to compete or compare them with each other. Every city is developing at its suitable pace required for it's development..

    • @db3561

      I just cross-checked 77% of all tall buildings and skyscrapers in India are in Mumbai whereas Hyderabad is next in the list with 8% of skyscrapers in India.. Even though Hyderabad is 2nd in the list, still the difference between 77% and 8% is massive.. And if you google, Mumbai has the highest infrastructure both developed and under construction compared to any other city in India..
      And let me clear it, this massive development in Mumbai is happening not because Mumbai is trying to compete with other developing cities, but because Mumbai is so over-crowded that infrastructure upgrade is a mandatory necessity in Mumbai as it needs to accommodate the increasing population, transport and provide proper facilities and roads to sustain the needs of the people and of the country.

      While I wish that every city of the country flourishes to its full potential but Mumbai is right now on an exponential growth phase path. After the completion of the top 5 infra projects the real estate will sky rocket even further and the quality of life will keep getting better. The biggest change will happen when FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) peaks out in Mumbai. Right now it's at a very nascent stage but after 5-6 years it's going to be unbelievable. However other cities should not be disappointed or feel left out because Mumbai's growth will be infectious, it will help raise other parts of India.

      The problem is that there are a few oversmart people in our country who cannot stand the progress of Mumbai. 77 % of all the towers being constructed in India are in Mumbai, huge infrastructure projects costing lakhs of crores are being constructed simultaneously in Mumbai and who says nothing is being done about pollution, maximum number of EV vehicles exist in Mumbai and are growing each day. First time in the century, one city of the country is undergoing such a massive transformation in every department! Instead of being proud of it there are certain anti social elements in our own country who say negative things There will be certain temporary side effects which are actually not even an issue because everything has been planned well. People who have absolutely no idea about economics, real estate and infrastructure ultimately resort to the umbrella of pollution because they feel that’s a very convenient way to make a negative point which in reality is very illogical.

    Backchod title of the video. The video doesn’t have anything that showcase how Mumbai will overtake Dubai or New York. I’m a proud Indian living in Dubai. I do agree India as a country has great potential but not matter how much infrastructure improvements we should first work more on our mindset and have basic civic sense and learn some discipline. Only then can one say we are growing or else we will still remain dead fish going with the flow.

      I know your type and come across a few people like you almost every few days who just cannot comprehend the true essense of what's happening in India. So I'll give you an example, in school most of the students have the habit of cramming up what's written in the textbook and regurgitating it on paper, they just do not have the ability to read in between the lines. So those people who do not have the ability of reading in between the lines have this problem of waiting to be spoon fed with information. The video exhibits many things which symbolise sources of change, there are limitations of time and it's hard work to make it artistically and presentable. Its very easy to be a wise crack but its very difficult to appreciate other people's work.

      @@SwapyBondleave it bro, they are the greedy self serving type. They don't provide service to India and run away as quickly as possible and then try lecturing us. 😂 I am a student at IISc Bangalore, and most of my batchmates are like this. Pathetic. To be honest India never had a lack of traitors like these people, who would sell their souls to the white masters for money, even in colonial times many Indians worked for British and oppressed their own people. Outrageous... I have to decided to join ISRO after completion of my studies at IISc, and work hard to make India proud instead of serving a two faced imperialist nation like USA.

      Firstly no system on Earth can be designed to withstand the forces or the wrath of nature. Even the most developed cities in the world have experienced it and can do nothing about it, it’s the way God works. Also I’ll tell you a secret, those who wish negativity upon others or laugh or ridicule them imagining their future destruction or pain or struggle are actually the ones who will experience it in other forms of issues in their life, it’s the way the law of Karma works, that’s why don’t even think negatively about others because by doing so you are activating the universe to divert all of it to yourself and your loved ones.

Start living in the real world and the future reality will be projected in front of you and you will start respecting your fellow Indians.

Full time pehen ke baitha tha, depot ke ekdum baaju me aye tab nikala usne, I dont even think you're from Mumbai so you probably dont know the surroundings. Aur yeh kuch nahi hoga kuch nahi hoga bolna bandh karo ab, bring in some positivity in life and start thinking optimistically about the country. There are hundred other more important things which need critical analysis.
