Rhythms of Harmony in Space - Ferdinand Schwarz Solo

When sounds meet in a space, they affect each other, interact, become changed, and create new ones - these artefacts are always present, have always been heard, but here they become the music itself.
Creating a space of both extreme clarity and overwhelming complexity, they lay bare a music that exists within our perception of steady sounds, a music that listeners generatively create themselves through listening.
Revealing the vast sonic worlds hidden within seemingly simple and static sounds, this music offers a perception-altering experience of klang and space.
In this performance participants are encouraged to explore their own listenings.
Preceded by an introductory workshop with all participants, we calibrate our attention for what we hear, what we remember to have heard and what we imagine to be hearing - listening to the rhythms of harmony in space.
