I worked on my buddies 1979 Corvette with a 350/350, rebuilt and correctly jetted the carb for His cam, timing chain of course and that thing was getting better than 25 mpg and could do 100 all day and night long. We went to Salt Lake from Phoenix in two tanks of gas!
I'm betting money that with all those containers and boxes full of treasures Dennis probably woke up multiple times during the night wondering if he missed anything.. "Like damn! I forgot to check the attic". 😁😁
On a side note, you can't leave us hanging, you really need to do a video on just unboxing everything or at least one showing all the best finds, I recall you mentioning before those Shelby steering wheels can run up to 6K.
I think a lot of your viewers would watch a 2 hour video on just an unboxing,I know I would.

I know older fellow in his middle 80s that has hoard like this of ford FE engines 390 and 427 and 428 we spent hours 30 yrs ago of all engines he has his home is full and large comersual building wear houses of cars here in Central Alabama
Love your videos Dennis. Can't believe how many sellers are so unprepared to allow you access to the vehicles when they know you are coming. It's a common theme. Cars are in garages where the garage doors are jambed and never opened. Cars are literally buried under boxes and things. Sellers had done nothing to locate all the loose parts, leaving your crew having to find them. Not knowing where keys are located. Etc, etc, etc.

It's cool seeing all the people willing to come help Dennis out. That's speaks highly to the kind of person he is. This is probably my favorite car show on CZcams. Makes it more enjoyable that he is so nice and respectful while still super knowledgeable. Edit= just finished the video and the pictures at the end were class. Excellent.

That was a fantastic find. I'm a big Mustang fan. But the Corvette was a nice find also. A friend of mine back in high school put a 350 horse 327 Corvette motor in a 63 Chevy ll. It would run. Those are all great cars.

Back in 2005 I needed a brake booster for an 86. Cj7 that I was doing a 383 chevy v8 swap . Brake booster in a cj was a rare option , nothing available, new , rebuilt or used in the entire USA. The last and final place I called was Collins jeep. They had one used one , I just couldn't believe it. They shipped it out quickly and told me how rare this part was. Charged me 75 bux . Great people to deal with. My customer who owned the jeep was ecstatic with his jeep when it was done. Thankyou dennis

You need a Box truck for days like this. Sort of a smaller version of a NASCAR hauler full of tools, spare tires, parts. LED flashlights, nuts bolts... lugnuts. Compressors. Etc etc.
Always amazed on these finds you come across. Always look forward to the next one.

The pictures towards the end...that Shelby was a showstopper. I'm not even into red cars, but a red (any color) Shelby...hot stuff. I'd drive that thing silly.
RIP to the father/collector. Bet he was a solid guy who knew how to have fun, but raised his son to be the same, a solid citizen. I lost my mother mid-May this year too, it's still hard to believe. Shedding a tear now typing this.

It's always great to see good people come together to rescue great cars while celebrating the life and passion of the gentleman who spent decades as the caretaker of these autos. If more programs were as positive, what a better world we'd have. Thanks for bringing us great stories.

OMG!!! That was an amazing collection!!! Just the parts alone were great -- a 427!!!! Man I wish they would let us in on the cost of this stuff. I know messes up with selling it in the future but DAMN this one has to be half a million-- well after lunch lol. Juicy burger place did good that day for sure.

Great stuff as always ,well worth watching ,great cars ,great find great burgers to finish it off .can't wait till you get a big truck and semi trailer or car transporter,in these days of high costs it would make sense to haul four cars in one movement,a d even a pick up with a smaller box body that could be transported on the car hauler,then driven back full of goodies ,all this for future finds like this ,I would search for a motorrised dolly that one often sees used to move trailer around , instead of having to push and control the rolling cars you find 😊😊

The '66 looks like it's got some Cal-Trac bars or Shelby traction bars or something under there. Those K codes are special.
Back in 1981 in high school, my buddy had a Raven Black K code 2+2, which must've been a '66 because I seem to remember it having an automatic. He rolled it, but at least it was a rusty Ohio car...

Hey Dennis you guys need to do more videos on Alex putting these cars back together and getting them to Market show more about his little space in the garage where he works on these cars and video of him working on them restoring them and putting them back together we have never seen the shop where Alex works at least I don't think we have if we have my mistake sorry
When I moved to SoCal in 1983 I used to pass the Western Wheel foundry alongside the 5 freeway in Santa Fe Springs almost every day. Great find on the rims!
