I’ve watched every single video you’ve made up until this point. If you went back to your old set up at your parents house, I would still watch. I watch for YOU and your soap. Not the stuff on you, or around you, or whatever. You feel like a friend, not an influencer and I love that about you and your channel. Keep on keepin’ it real girl! I purposely watch your videos with my girls because sometimes you wear a full face of make up with your hair done, and sometimes you don’t. I do the same thing in my own life and I think it’s an important message to send to my kids. Sometimes mommy wears make up, and sometimes she doesn’t, depending on her mood. If mommy wears make up, it’s because it’s fun and she feels like it... not because she has to. Rock on Mama!

By coincidence, that's exactly where I stopped it too! And also because I was annoyed that she's getting so many complaints. This is her channel. She doesn't have to share these videos with us; she'd probably do just fine just selling soap. I think it's a privilege to be allowed into someone's studio to see what they do and how they do it.
I love that you keep it real. No make up, daggy back grounds etc. When things seem too perfect, they usually are cos they are 'put-ons' for the camera. The way you keep it real is one of the reasons I watch your videos. Please remember that for every 'hater' there are 100's of 'lovers' of your videos. If peeps dont like what they 'see' they should scroll on by and learn to keep their mouths shut because at the end of the day your soaps are what matter and they are amazing. All the other stuff is just cosmetic. Take it all away and your still left with your amazing soaps. Keep doing what your doing Katie. You are so generous with your information. In reference to,"Do people still write letters?" My boyfriend lives in the U.K. and I live in V.A. at the moment. We Skype and write e-mails everyday and once a month we hand write a letter to each other. When I saw his first letter, I was so amazed at how beautiful it was. A year later he came to V.A. to see me and then we went back to the U.K together and I stayed with him for 10 days and he confessed that at first he paid his sister to write them for him and then he practiced A LOT so he could write them himself. Two years, tons of e-mails lots of half asleep skypes (on both ends because of the time difference) and 4 visits 2 to va and 2 to uk we still write a monthly handwritten letter and I have saved all of his (in a lace hat box he gave me as a b-day gift.) and he saves all of mine (in a wooden trinket box I gave him) so we can show our kids what real love looks like.

Your soap came out great despite the darkening! The piping and embeds were perfect. I’m not surprised it darkened so much. I soaped that fragrance a month ago and it was a disaster. 😩 I kept the batter very fluid to use in squeeze bottles and long story short, it seized. Had to cram in a mold. I used a vanilla color stabilizer for CP soap, at a 1:1 ratio since the FO has such a high % of vanilla. I think that was my mistake. The soap had pools of oil on top that took a week to absorb into the soap. At least it was a small batch. Glad to see you didn’t have any difficulties with the fragrance aside from the soap darkening up. Still works since it’s a Fall soap. 🎃

I love when you don't do hair and makeup etc, I see so much of it on YT it's refreshing to watch someone who is comfortable with herself enough to do so. I also love when you do get dressed up etc, because you are a beautiful girl. I'll take you either way, because at the end of the day it's about the soap not about weather you combed your hair or not.

Honestly I appreciate this so much. I recently started going to work without makeup (5am ain't nobody got time for that) and I get so many more people telling me I look tired or asking if I'm sick. I have a medically intensive child and sometimes I cant sleep at night and these videos are so positive and relaxing it calms me enough to sleep. Katie, I gotta say, one of the things that drew me into your videos was that I clicked on it and you were just you. Your hair was in a messy ponytail (back when your hair was long) like mine always is. You didn't have makeup on. I could see your acne. You were you and you were beautiful. You made me feel okay to do the same thing. I'm not more drawn to your videos with makeup or without - because hey! Sometimes it is fun to get jazzed up. I'm drawn to them for your silly voices and your creative soaps. YOU inspired me to make my own soap two weeks ago because I have a coconut allergy and can't buy your awesome soaps! It didn't turn out the way I planned, but your videos have also taught me to go with the flow and it's still a great bar of soap (or I think it will be after it's done curing). Keep being you because that's the way I like it. I almost never comment on any videos, but I had to add to the positivity in the comment section.

Your energy and the information you provide as you are making the soaps. That's what makes you different from other's, don't lose your touch. You are one of the best soap makes in my opinion. I have never commented on a video before but felt the need to do so on this one. You have taught me so much and I am forever grateful. I don't tune in to see what your make up looks like, what clothes you are wearing or for the perfect back ground setting. I watch your videos for your sparkling personality. Please don't let the negative people get to you. They are either so miserable that all they want is for others to feel the same way or if all they have to complain about is someone's appearance, I'd say their worries are little and they need to stress more about being kind rather than causing others pain. We all have days when we don't either have time or care to have the perfect hair and make up. So it's nice to see you being you. If you're in the mood to style it up for a video, that's fine and if you're in the mood to go natural that's fine too....just be you.

I’ve been watching you from the beginning, Katie. I have to say that I didn’t fall in love with your channel because of your background, your hair, your makeup, or how clear your skin is. I love this channel because of YOU. Your personality, your kindness, and your humor. Anyone watching you can tell that you’re a genuine person. Who we see on screen is who you really are even when the camera is off. If people don’t like who you are, they don’t have to be here. You’re here to make soap and share your creativity with us, not to win the CZcams beauty pageant. No one is happy and bubbly all the time. We’re all human. We have bad days, we get tired. If you don’t feel like piling makeup on your face for a 5 minute intro/outro, then don’t do it. Ignore the hateful people and focus on those of us that love you for you.
I personally love that you have acne and still get on camera without covering it up. I struggle with acne and despise makeup, and when I'm having a really bad breakout, I feel extremely insecure.. You're the first person I've seen that has been brave enough to show that, and it really helped me feel more comfortable and confident with my own skin.. I love that you keep it real. No make up, daggy back grounds etc. When things seem too perfect, they usually are cos they are 'put-ons' for the camera. The way you keep it real is one of the reasons I watch your videos. Please remember that for every 'hater' there are 100's of 'lovers' of your videos. If peeps dont like what they 'see' they should scroll on by and learn to keep their mouths shut because at the end of the day your soaps are what matter and they are amazing. All the other stuff is just cosmetic. Take it all away and your still left with your amazing soaps. Keep doing what your doing Katie. You are so generous with your information. To me your gorgeous NO MATTER WHAT your wearing, or whether you have make up on, or if your hair is done. I dont understand people that think its ok to bully others. To me it shows me alot about them. In reference to,"Do people still write letters?" My boyfriend lives in the U.K. and I live in V.A. at the moment. We Skype and write e-mails everyday and once a month we hand write a letter to each other. When I saw his first letter, I was so amazed at how beautiful it was. A year later he came to V.A. to see me and then we went back to the U.K together and I stayed with him for 10 days and he confessed that at first he paid his sister to write them for him and then he practiced A LOT so he could write them himself. Two years, tons of e-mails lots of half asleep skypes (on both ends because of the time difference) and 4 visits 2 to va and 2 to uk we still write a monthly handwritten letter and I have saved all of his (in a lace hat box he gave me as a b-day gift.) and he saves all of mine (in a wooden trinket box I gave him) so we can show our kids what real love looks like.

The refreshing honesty and self-esteem in this video is giving me life.
Your soap came out great despite the darkening! The piping and embeds were perfect. I’m not surprised it darkened so much. I soaped that fragrance a month ago and it was a disaster. 😩 I kept the batter very fluid to use in squeeze bottles and long story short, it seized. Had to cram in a mold. I used a vanilla color stabilizer for CP soap, at a 1:1 ratio since the FO has such a high % of vanilla. I think that was my mistake. The soap had pools of oil on top that took a week to absorb into the soap. At least it was a small batch. Glad to see you didn’t have any difficulties with the fragrance aside from the soap darkening up. Still works since it’s a Fall soap. 🎃

I love when you don't do hair and makeup etc, I see so much of it on YT it's refreshing to watch someone who is comfortable with herself enough to do so. I also love when you do get dressed up etc, because you are a beautiful girl. I'll take you either way, because at the end of the day it's about the soap not about weather you combed your hair or not.

Honestly I appreciate this so much. I recently started going to work without makeup (5am ain't nobody got time for that) and I get so many more people telling me I look tired or asking if I'm sick. Jokes on them, I can rub my eyes and I'm super comfortable so 🤷♀️ do what makes you comfortable. I'll keep watching no matter what you do to your face❤
I think I can speak for many of your subscribers when I say that we watch your videos for your amazing soap creations and your sparkling personality. Lilly is ALWAYS a fabulous bonus. I would rather you not have to put on the makeup if you don't want to. I am a seasoned woman and am graying at the temples, my eyebrows need serious attention according to my friends and my hair needs to be dyed but I just don't want to and if anyone loves me then it will be for me not for the way I look. Katie, I gotta say, one of the things that drew me into your videos was that I clicked on it and you were just you. Your hair was in a messy ponytail (back when your hair was long) like mine always is. You didn't have makeup on. I could see your acne. You were you and you were beautiful. You made me feel okay to do the same thing. I'm not more drawn to your videos with makeup or without - because hey! Sometimes it is fun to get jazzed up. I'm drawn to them for your silly voices and your creative soaps. YOU inspired me to make my own soap two weeks ago because I have a coconut allergy and can't buy your awesome soaps! It didn't turn out the way I planned, but your videos have also taught me to go with the flow and it's still a great bar of soap (or I think it will be after it's done curing). Keep being you because that's the way I like it. I almost never comment on any videos, but I had to add to the positivity in the comment section.

Part of standing out in the competitive business world is to provide your customers something different. What sets you apart from the rest of the soap makers is that you keep it real. Your energy and the information you provide as you are making the soaps. That's what makes you different from other's, don't lose your touch. You are one of the best soap makes in my opinion. Don't get discourage.
I have never commented on a video before but felt the need to do so on this one. You have taught me so much and I am forever grateful. I don't tune in to see what your make up looks like, what clothes you are wearing or for the perfect back ground setting. I watch your videos for your sparkling personality. Please don't let the negative people get to you. They are either so miserable that all they want is for others to feel the same way or if all they have to complain about is someone's appearance, I'd say their worries are little and they need to stress more about being kind rather than causing others pain. We all have days when we don't either have time or care to have the perfect hair and make up. So it's nice to see you being you. If you're in the mood to style it up for a video, that's fine and if you're in the mood to go natural that's fine too....just be you.

I’ve been watching you from the beginning, Katie. I have to say that I didn’t fall in love with your channel because of your background, your hair, your makeup, or how clear your skin is. I love this channel because of YOU. Your personality, your kindness, and your humor. Anyone watching you can tell that you’re a genuine person. Who we see on screen is who you really are even when the camera is off. If people don’t like who you are, they don’t have to be here. You’re here to make soap and share your creativity with us, not to win the CZcams beauty pageant. No one is happy and bubbly all the time. We’re all human. We have bad days, we get tired. If you don’t feel like piling makeup on your face for a 5 minute intro/outro, then don’t do it. Ignore the hateful people and focus on those of us that love you for you.
I personally love that you have acne and still get on camera without covering it up. I struggle with acne and despise makeup, and when I'm having a really bad breakout, I feel extremely insecure.. You're the first person I've seen that has been brave enough to show that, and it really helped me feel more comfortable and confident with my own skin..
