    I was one of the customers you had to fight off for the review, wanted to take this one out for a test drive after driving the S in gray to see how it differed with the extra features and the sound system. Waited for you guys to come back from your review drive, once you guys got back to the dealer i called my mom and told her to get up there immediately. My salesman came up to me after you got done reviewing this one and said it just sold!!!! Right after that the S model I drove just sold as well. Very nice vehicles but very hard to get!!! Was hoping to say hi and meet you guys in person but next time for sure

      I love mine. I was choosing between the Telluride and the Land Rover Defender. The Defender is obviously a better off-road vehicle, but I didn’t find its luxury brand amenities to be better (or even up to par in some ways) with the Telluride. Given the fact that I was looking for safe and heavy more than an off-roader, I decided to save the $20K and go with the Telluride. I also learned that Land Rover doesn’t offer more than a 4 year warranty for the Defender while I got a 10 year power train warranty as well as the first 6 years of maintenance covered on my Telluride. I think I made a wise decision. I endorse your choice in next vehicle 👍

    Good and accurate review. I’ve had my fully blacked out Nightfall Edition Telluride for a week and it is everything I was hoping for in a SUV. It is well geared and the 291HP, 8 speed transmission engine is more than enough power to move this 4400 pound vehicle quickly, smoothly and with great control. At 6’4” the leg and headroom in the first two rows are most welcome and as our presenters mentioned, the seating is extremely comfortable. In fact, the comfortability of the seats is moving up the charts of my favorite things about my Telluride. The visibility is great in all ways. Sitting tall in the cabin with flat windows, well placed A and B pillars and a large back window provides that superior visibility. This is complimented nicely by the 360 degrees camera views that on my SX model are presented in the gauge cluster when I put on a turn signal. When put into reverse, the Telluride’s main infotainment display shows your back up camera as well as the projected travel of the vehicle as estimated by the 360 camera system. A week in my only (and minor) complaint is that the CarPlay isn’t wireless. Other than that I’m completely satisfied with my Telluride and fully endorse it to anyone interested in an excellent SUV. I had to order mine, but that allowed me to customize it. My understanding is that the dealerships are only getting baseline or top trim models. I believe the SX Nightfall Edition I ordered was about $5K less than the top trim and I feel as though it is lacking nothing. In fact a friend who has a Land Rover Discovery says that my Telluride has some nice amenities her Discovery does not and at about $10K less.

    As a mom of 2 and a sport mom who’s always on the go… most 3 row suvs without bench seats don’t work. So frustrating that the higher trims don’t have the option of a bench seat 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t want to pull the 3rd row up to just fit 1 extra child. As much I don’t want to spend 60k+ for a full size it makes more sense for my needs

    We bought (via order) a 2021 SX (Dark Moss Nightfall non-Prestige with butterscotch leather) which we've had for almost 10 months and we love it. One of the best cars we've ever owned. (and we've owned a lot). I searched all over the country to find a dealer that would order exactly what we wanted and not charge a ridiculous dealer markup (some dealers re asking 5k-10k, even more, above MSRP. Because I got the veterans KIA discount we ended up paying less than MSRP. I was willing to drive a one-way rental car 10 hours to pick up our Telly in Texas.
    We did get the full tow package and can report that we were able to easily tow a 19' R-Pod camper trailer (about 3500 lbs) with no problem, but the gas milage of course dropped to about 15MPG.
    The one thing I don't like about the 2022 is the badge. I know some people like it, but I'm not one of them. To me, it looks like the logo for the band Nine Inch Nails (wish I could post a picture). Also, why in the heck didn't they black out the logo on the Nightfall edition? That's just dumb! (I'm sure people who buy the Nightfall will be painting that logo). Otherwise, it's still the best looking SUV in its class. I am constantly getting compliments on this car.

    I’ve had a ‘21 Wolf Grey SX-P Nightfall for almost 9 months. My husbands daily drive is a ‘19 Stinger GT2. I wish the Telluride had a turbo engine as nice as the Stinger. I find it to be capable but a bit clunky. My main gripes have to do with the seats. The second row captains chairs are much more comfortable than the front seats, I’d also like the front headrests to move forward and back like the Stingers. And overall the armrests in the front cabin are too low, sitting in the front seats is awkward with nothing to rest elbows on. I’m not tall either, 5’4”. However the safety features and adaptable cruise make it worth it. The cargo capacity is also very nice. I’ve fit a full size pinball machine and a 75” tv box inside.

    • @theflyingkaramazovbrothers6
      @theflyingkaramazovbrothers6 Před 2 lety +1

      Unfortunately, the headrests is a bigger problem with Kia and Hyundai than with other automakers even when they have forward/back adjustments. The regulation in 2008 that saw cars for 2009 and beyond follow a rule that was based on crash test dummies that are too thick for the average human being, so the headrest presses forward into your head rather than allowing your back to and neck to be relatively straight or relaxed. Only solution is to bend the metal or flip the headrests around (and even that may not solve it.) Really disappointed with cars in general because of this fact, the seats otherwise seemed OK to me. The Telluride headrest kills my neck and gives me headaches.
