Once upon a time the k-pop industry tried to say that Soyeon (short black hair) wasn't attractive enough to be an idol. I wish nothing but the worst for every person that said that to her or about her.

Pink Hair is Yuqi, Short black hair is Soyeon. They are the two members with the strongest overall abilities
Soyeon,Minnie,Yuqi are producer line(wrote,composed,recored their songs,as the schedule gets busier, Minnie and Yuqi are also more involved and helping Soyeon with work beyond music production.Soyeon is the main producer responsible for all title tracks, concept planning, and more ) ,they were roommates since trainess data（Company Dormitory）. Before each member has their own living house(Renting a house alone) , there were also cases of mixed living. The relationship between members is very strong, and what they think is most important is to be honest with each other, conveying their most genuine thoughts and emotions to each other. The more noisy the relationship, the better.

Another song i would recommend by them would be "Oh My God" since its my favorite song by them. That song also contains Soojin,who was in the group until 2021, when she had to leave due to false bullying accusations.

@@aniakathryn You were saying how Soyeon is beautiful, at the start of her career she went on idol and rapper survival shows and the first one she was on, knets called her talented but ugly. She was 17 and had a long period where that's what people said about her and she internalized it on the rapping show and some of her music is about that. I know it's insane, she was always pretty but she didn't measure up to the "korean beauty standard". 'Allergy' is about how she felt.
Some of her fuck you attitude comes from getting over that. She also writes/produces most of their music. Wrote All their title tracks except 1 english one and about 70% of their songs. Produced 70% of their songs since tomboy. The last 30% is a few of the other members, Yuqi and Minnie. Miyeon also started writing on the last album. Soyeon is one of the better dancers, singers, song makers, and rappers in kpop.
"Tomboy" has a cd version that's uncensored!!!

The girl from tomboy that you said was so beautiful is called soyeon she’s the leader main rapper lead dancer sun vocalist and center of the group she wrote and produced 90% of gidle’s music where the other 10% was shared between the rest of the members she’s also the fastest female rapper known in K-pop rn she also wrote and produced songs for other groups like apink clc and much more not to forget that all of their concepts are made by her she also arranges the sets for the mvs and helps with the dances and chooses the clothes and the nails with the hair also

@@aniakathryn thx so much, love ur reactions. As you can tell g idle and ateez are more bold than other kpop groups and it's why I love them both. They also debuted in the same year. It's sad tho bcs there was a huge fandom war between Neverland(g idle fandom) and atiny(ateez fandom)

I recommend checking out some of their older content too! (Examples: Uh Oh, Lion, HWAA, Dumdi Dumdi, Senorita, Oh My God, etc). Those videos include their ex-member Soojin who was in their group for 3 years. The reason she left was due to a bullying scandal (which she was later proven innocent for). Many nevies (neverlands) still love and appreciate her, so we still see her as a part of the group regardless, as she was with them for a while. In their music videos (G)I-DLE tend to make a lot of references to Soojin considering they aren't really allowed to speak about her, which is sweet because it shows how close they really are and still care about each other :). Soojin recently came back as a soloist in November 2023 too! OT6

@@aniakathryn Most people do not mention this for some reason, but 'Allergy' is a Pre-Release for a recent album and it is Part One of a story inside the music videos. 'Queen Card' is Part Two of that story.

@@aniakathryn Soyeon also released a couple of Solo projects (she actually had debuted as a Soloist before (G)I-DLE debuted). Her first song is a cutesy little thing called 'Jelly' that has a MV and there is another song with it called 'I-DLE Song' which does not have a video.
Years later when Soojin got kicked out, the group went on hiatus (they were gone almost a YEAR!). During that, Soyeon kept working and made another album, Windy. The Title Track for that one is called 'Beam Beam'.
One of the tracks on that album is called 'Is This Bad B**** Number' and that is STILL my favorite Rap! Soyeon included two other Soloists, BiBi and Lee Youngji for that. She wrote that song with those two specific ladies in mind; if either of them had turned down working with Soyeon, we never would have heard about that track, she would have scrapped it entirely because it was meant for them alone. They both loved it so it got a video of its own, which SURPRISED me because all three ladies curse in that video!
It's awesome not just for the cursing, but because of everything that track entails. PLEASE check that one out (and you will need the sub-titles). That one can be found on the YT channel called dingo live.

the pink haired one is Yuqi, pronounced in korean kind of like oogi or woogi; she has a much deeper voice than most any other female singer in k-pop, and her voice is one of the reasons she is my bias(favorite)

Congrats on discovering (G)I-dle (or usually just Idle). With Blackpink in stasis, Idle is the most dynamic and concept-pushing Kgroup and their popularity is skyrocketing as people discover them. They have probably the most creative freedom of any group since they're basically self-contained. Soyeon (who is having the last laugh on people that said she was too short, not pretty enough, and not talented enough to be an idol) writes and produces most of their work. You could basically pick them up, plop them in another agency, and they wouldn't miss a beat.
They cover a lot of different moods and genres. One I'd listen to immediately is "Lion," which is now iconic, but they also have a lighter side, for that, "Dumdi Dumdi" will have you bopping along with a big smile. Soyeon also does solos occasionally, and "Beam Beam" is one of the greatest dumb fun songs ever written.

They really are for women equality and to break barriers!
Soyeon 5:33 (you said was beautiful) is the mastermind of the group and the main songwriter of their songs including all title tracks.
Yuqi 5:12 (the 2nd of the girls you really liked) and Minnie 5:19 have also written songs for the group with Miyeon 5:54 has written lyrics for 2 songs. Shuhua 7:11 is the Maknae and hasn’t wrote lyrics or songs but her contribution to the group is just as valued as the others.
Their discography is diverse and because they write their own songs, it is a perfect reflection of their music tastes and thoughts/feelings.
They are their true selves off and on camera so what you see is what you get. So you wil see sisterhood/family more than friends/K-pop group. They are loud, upfront, funny, love to mock each other, when together are a handful on radio/tv shows lol and humble with the exception of Yuqi who is the ultimate confidence Queen!
I hope that the more you watch and get to know them, you will Stan (G)I-DLE and become a Neverland (Nevie, Nebobo are just a few fandom nicknames)!

If you like Tomboy's style, I might suggest the full album that has the song: "I Never Die", it has a very strong 2000s rock vibe, kinda Green Day, Avril Lavigne, etc. (Not necessarily for a reaction video)
The album that features Allergy and Queencard, "I feel", follows that Y2K sound, a bit more poppy than rock 🥰 (G)I-dle tried many different genres so they're just *that* good to discover, especially knowing they write and produce their own songs!

They are my favorite girl group they are grown women and they just give everytime I will say tho their dancing is limited cause it’s center for them so they can give live vocals they hate lip singing and say their not good at it makes them uncomfortable when they have to perform but you will love them in the cd version they actually cuss

other ppl alr said it, but i'd really check out oh my god. if you want to feel more rap check out my bag, for hip hop uh oh. they can do anything. if you want some storytelling watch allergy and queencard together. these don't have mvs , but vision feels like newjeans and fate feels like older japanese pop which is great. i want that is a banger song and the m/v is really cool. this is my first time watching ur channel so idk ur tastes, but if you like rap, soyeon is the best of the idols (at least for the women) and her raps from unpretty rapstar, a show she was on, are worth watching. she was so good she had grown women calling her unnie as a 19 year old.

This recent solo of Yuqi is noted as her debut solo as it was promoted but she did have a unprompted solo prior in 2021 called A page (2 songs). That will be awesome if you get to delve into their solo work when you can! I loved Yuqi’s album YUQ1, it represents her as a whole.
