Omg, i think EXO set their standard so high in Growl that MOST exo-l's are disspointed with how the MV turned out.

Wendy N Are there really fans disappointed in this MV? I'm not even an EXO-L but I am IMPRESSED by the intensity of the song and choreo, this blows Growl out the water. EXO came back to kill this time.
I would say a vocal minority. I've seen one person who was disappointed, but other than that I haven't heard anything.
I'm not an Exo-L but this one makes Exo on the top of my list again. Growl has a great choreo, but the dark setting makes it harder to see the moves clearly, and although the schoolboy style is nice, it's not as ambitious as the styles here. CMB is so bright and energetic, especially with that 90s throwback vibe makes it really unique.

I think the reason the music video feels underwhelming is because they do not have a signature dance move compared to growl which was so repetitive but fun....overdose gave me goosebumbs the first time i saw it just like mama too.....
but the vocal game is strong in this one and they are flirty with their choreo so its all gud ! p.s LAY IS ON FIRE

I feel like that technique is something that's theirs now? Obviously they don't own rights to it or anything, hahaha, but I feel like that whole one-take/pushing the camera away style is unique to them now; like when you watch a video of theirs, you know it's them? I do wish that SM would implement something new into their videos to evolve and take EXO's videos to the next level, but maybe in the next comeback.
