lol, cant deny that man I used my ps4 for a lot blueray movies too. I think I spent more time on moive than gaming on PS4. but its nice to see we can play some indie PS4 games on deck. it's still pretty cool.
Don't get me wrong. Its impressive as hell that the steam deck can emulate a ps4 and play sonic mania all above 30 fps.
But aside from very resource light 2D games, the steam deck will never be able to emulate the major games.
However the fact it CAN run PS4 Sonic mania indicates amazing things will happen in ps4 emulation for the future.
Maybe even good enough for the steam deck 2
Yeah we can definitely see the future emulation of PS4. Can’t guarantee steam deck 2 but high end pc will be able to emulate 3A games pretty soon.
ps4 emulator is still a long way from being able to run a AAA game

I’m seeing a lot of ps4 iso sites popping up, mostly for jailbroken ps4s, but I hope emulation gets better fast.
Yes man I believe in next few years we will be able emulate some AAA ps4 games.
oh WOW... did even think about ps4
i followed all the steps and everything shows like it did in the video but when i start game it says fpps4.exe was closed returning code 53 any idea how i can get the game working?
Try different games. Only few games are playable. All AAA games are non-launchable.

Can this emulator be installed and used from/with help of
Emu Deck? It seems much comfortable to install everything the same way as for emulators on Emu Deck, like psp or ps2/3 games
Nope Emudeck doesn’t support ps4 emulator yet
Wheenever i load fpps4 through steam it doesnt launch,it just says play again,any ideas? Thanks again
Did you use lurtris ? Make sure set it to use wine to run the program just like what I showed in video.
@@ED4T i followed all of the steps,when i try to run it in lutirs it gives me the error "no patch can be set for DXVK because no version information is available"
did you download the emulator & nwjs-sdk file from the linux section. just want to make sure you didnt get them from the windows section on github website. if you still cant get it running. maybe try to uninstall lutris & reboot steam deck and try again.
@@ED4T yeah i downloaded the correct versions,it could be an issue with lutris because of the error i mentioned
maybe try uninstall Lutris then reboot steam deck and install LUtris again.@@thatrandomdude4143

@@ED4T When I press Export to GP4, after a few seconds there is no message. The game is 14 GB in size. because of this? does it take a while?
It will take around 3 to 5 minutes if the game is that size . The game I tested only less than 1gb most of them.
