- "Proud Mary" is a rock song written by John Fogerty and first recorded by his band @TheOfficialCCR. Ike & Tina Turner first covered "Proud Mary" in 1970. This version was released as a single from their Workin' Together album and the song differed greatly from the structure of the original, but is also well known and has become one of Tina Turner's most recognizable signature songs.

Love the way that each of these lovely ladies sticks to their choreographed routines but also add their own idiosyncratic moves and facial expressions. In every performance, there's always at least one you end up watching more than the others - rarely always the same one. So talented.

I've lived within 10 miles of the Big Muddy most of my life and I was 12 when CCR released this. Wonderful to see BP performing this. Then again, it's wonderful to see BP perform almost anything.
"This is Halloween" first got my attention, but this number solidified my love of this group. They were more than painted faces! They could rock, sing and dance. I was hooked after this.

Looking at all the videos from BP and you can understand why they are so entertaining and hypnotizing. I mean really, you put four gorgeous women in front in either costumes and face paint or just as they are and you cannot go wrong. They could sing Mary had a little lamb and still be fantastic. They are a blast.
