about the mee siput - we usually pour the sauce to the mee siput packet then crush it and eat it out of the bag. That's how we eat packet noodles / rice too. people who grew up in muar will understand.

can i introduce you to some places you never shown on video yet?
1. sek wai fook enterprise - they sell tau suan, which i never seen it sold anywhere else. its a sweet Mung bean soup and we eat it with sliced you tiao. (afternoon)
2. ah niu prawn noodle (hokkien noodle) they operated long time ago in wetex parade food court. now operating outside. very delicious local favourite. (dinner)
3. hong bee chicken rice ball, just opposite 333 foodcourt. their chicken rice ball is different and bigger than the melaka one. tastier and cheaper too. (lunch)
4. 88 delicious minced pork porridge at yong kee restaurant (just at the glutinous street). i promise you this is the thickest most succulent pork porridge you will ever eat! klang valley porridges no matter where, always taste like sick people food. this muar minced pork porridge use different ingredients and it tastes like sinful meal! (breakfast)
5. 潮州粿 at glutinous street! you can ask the boss to heat it up for you on the pan. (afternoon)
6. Pork satay in bentayan food court, very very tasty pork satay! boss operates depending on mood, but his satay is one of the best. (night, but depends on luck, come early)
7. this one is technically not restaurant but fung sheng is a bakery muarians grew up with! they sell old school cakes and breads!
8. yong sheng, another classic muar bakery, for red soft cake (kek hong ko吉红糕)!
9. cheong heng chicken rice, ask for黄姜饭！the yellow rice is super tasty! i promise you cant find it anywhere else!
10. another bakery, sin nam hiang! try their one box of those guzaowei sponge cream cake, its super soft and delicious!

Dear CK, I visited Muar and it was worth to visit.
I met the friendliest people there. In particular, the older lady from Tanjung Emas Park who runs stand 14 was as caring as a mother. She remembered you and we talked a little. Mee Rojak was very tasty. Your videos are great. It's nice that you also showed us your friends, who all look very friendly, especially the young man in 15:58 looks so friendly. Best regards!

Muar is a very old royal town in Johor and it used to be well-known during 15th & 16th century among Portuguese & Dutch traders during that era.

if i'm not mistaken, the Chee Kwueh seller has a brother who's selling the same at another place in Muar. He was selling from a food cart near where you had the fried oyster. i remember he shifted after the pandemic and i asked the locals, they pointed me to his brother's outlet which is the one near the bus terminal.
