To me if this team wants to go from good to great they need to eliminate any weaknesses they have. Look at San Fran or Baltimore. How many times do we look at them and say “damn, where’s the weakness on this team at?” We don’t do that with the Cowboys. We know what the weakness is, they’re light up front so you can bully them around a bit, they have inconsistent offensive line play, mixed coverages turns your qb into a deer in headlights, they shoot themselves in the foot from being undisciplined, they can’t run the ball and you can put them in a bind with eye candy type offense. It’s cool to have an area or two where you aren’t the best at but nobody should be able to take complete advantage of any area of your team. And I just think too many times we can consistently point to multiple flaws in our team. The day we aren’t able to point out any real weakness is when I feel like they are legit but until then it will be the same shit. We don’t have an all time great kind of qb to cover up our weaknesses, we literally need to have a very strong team around Dak. It just seems like such an easy fix. We all were fooled in 2022 that getting rid of zeke and going with pollard was the fix. Boy were we wrong. There's not that many Zeke's out there but we need to get a bigger, Tougher running back that can get those extra one or two yards. The other issue is we don't have the personnel to stop the run against good teams. Schemes are fine but they're gonna bite you in the butt in the end. Washington, Niners, Philly. Big bodies like they have stop the run. That alone if we could have done that last Sunday. There may have been a different outcome. First time writing in. Love all the shows and my Cowboys.

When the Cowboys drafted Tony Pollard from Memphis, he was the Tigers secondary receiving RB behind Darrell Henderson that was the starting traditional RB that was drafted before Tony Pollard in the 2019 NFL Draft class. Therefore, Tony Pollard should have never been put in the position to replace Ezekiel Elliott as the bell cow RB. We should keep Tony Pollard as the receiving RB like the past great Roger Craig. The main problem with the Cowboys in my opinion, they are too sentimental with keeping and highlighting their players in key positions on the teams instead of utilizing the entire 53 man roster. I totally agree with Nick Eatman, this isn’t even close to the worst that any long time Cowboys fan has seen in their time as fans. Sure, it was a horrible loss but they are basically a shoe in to make the playoffs next season and yeah they have several FAs, which every team has FAs, but they will also get back Trevon Diggs and D.Overshown, so that’s a definite plus. Since they are running it back, I think they have to re-sign J.Hankins and D.Armstrong. They can’t afford to lose Hankins with the main problem of consistently stopping the run, so he’s a must. I also think Dorance is a keep. I think Pollard, Biadasz, Kearse, Fowler are gone due to salary cap restraints. In the draft, they have to get at least one starting LB, if not two. Then they’ll need a LT-even if they keep Tyron Smith, RB, Center and probably another WR.
I wouldn’t say we are a shoe in to make the playoffs next year. How many years has it been since an NFC East team has repeated as the winner of that division? Don’t rule out Philly playing better next year and who knows what to expect from Washington (new coach and a boat load of top 100 picks) and the Giants might finally figure it out. The other issue is we don't have the personnel to stop the run against good teams. Schemes are fine but they're gonna bite you in the butt in the end. Washington, Niners, Philly. When the Cowboys drafted Tony Pollard from Memphis, he was the Tigers secondary receiving RB behind Darrell Henderson that was the starting traditional RB that was drafted before Tony Pollard in the 2019 NFL Draft class. Therefore, Tony Pollard should have never been put in the position to replace Ezekiel Elliott as the bell cow RB. We should keep Tony Pollard as the receiving RB like the past great Roger Craig.
The main problem with the Cowboys in my opinion, they are too sentimental with keeping and highlighting their players in key positions on the teams instead of utilizing the entire 53 man roster. So, when teams play play the Cowboys, they always take away the Cowboys bests players in the game and attack their media announced weaknesses in the game when they play us. USE ALL THE PLAYERS ON THE TEAM WHEN ON THE FIELD OF PLAY TO KEEP THE TEAMS GUESSING WHO IS GETTING THE FOOTBALL NEXT.🤔

I've heard a number of people saying not firing Mccarthy was the right thing to do because you're making an emotional decision. Since when does your track record and failure to produce make it emotional. I'm not mad at Mccarthy, I'm just looking at the execution in the post season specifically. I totally agree with Nick Eatman, this isn’t even close to the worst that any long time Cowboys fan has seen in their time as fans. Sure, it was a horrible loss but they are basically a shoe in to make the playoffs next season and yeah they have several FAs, which every team has FAs, but they will also get back Trevon Diggs and D.Overshown, so that’s a definite plus. Since they are running it back, I think they have to re-sign J.Hankins and D.Armstrong. They can’t afford to lose Hankins with the main problem of consistently stopping the run, so he’s a must. I also think Dorance is a keep. I think Pollard, Biadasz, Kearse, Fowler are gone due to salary cap restraints. In the draft, they have to get at least one starting LB, if not two. Then they’ll need a LT-even if they keep Tyron Smith, RB, Center and probably another WR.
I wouldn’t say we are a shoe in to make the playoffs next year. How many years has it been since an NFC East team has repeated as the winner of that division? Don’t rule out Philly playing better next year and who knows what to expect from Washington (new coach and a boat load of top 100 picks) and the Giants might finally figure it out. Too many good teams in the NFC to guarantee we get a wild card birth if we don’t win our division.
