By looking at the footage, it can be seen that he still had the 10 or so centimeters to the right that will have avoided contact, and Forè's steering wheel was pointed towards the corner, so the gap was there. Nothing to detract from the superb drive of Manetti in the second half of the KZ2 Masters race, but I think this mistake in judging the space he had last, we are talking about centimeters here, cost him the race.
This was an incredible event, watched it from beginning on Friday until the thrilling finals on Sunday
