This dude has been going through shit for a long long time. He's very vocal about it. And he's such a humble guy. Met him on his first tour of Australia, i went to shake his hand and thank him for his music helping me through my depression, he pushed my hand away and gave me a hug and said "no, thank you for still being here". Absolutely amazing guy. And criminally underrated

I know it's unbelievable, but I just discovered him. I listen to all kinds of music from classic rock to metal, rap to grunge, but I don't listen to much "modern" music. I just found him because one of his songs is on the new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtrack (My Bloody Valentine), and now I'm binging all his stuff. He's a hell of a talent, and seems so genuine, which is rare these days.

Remember when he sampled Sail? Or the numerous times he's been to warped tour and been on tour with several rock bands? He loves alternative rock and this is a good experiment to me. Also, rap music has been samplin' stuff like rock music since the very beginning. I remember watching an interview or something with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five and people addressed them as a rock band for some reason until they said, "No, this ain't rock, this is rap!" And a whole new genre started and practically owned the pop culture scene a decade later. Though, it's popularity died out slowly in the early 2000s, and that's what got us to where we are today where mainstream rap has lost all its substance, and the rappers are getting arrested every second day. But, here, there ain't none of that. Just good ol' rock n roll-ish vibes that Eminem never had. Excuse me, but has Eminem ever done anything for his fans? No? That's the fucking point.
