When you cutting your design leave a border along one side. That way when they meet up on the back it will make a seamless pattern.. of course some designs want be seamless but it will keep it from ghosting or double transferring.. it also helps the tapping process also.. I just started and watched a person do that and I have not had any problems with ghosting or double transferring.. I know some who leave extra paper to fold over on the top but I cut to fit top and bottom exactly.. I will pull my tape from the top rim really really tight and then move to the bottom rim.. I’ve found that doing that also pushes any air that is under the paper out cause when you tape the bottom if any air in left it holds the gases and can cause a number of problems including ghosting.. I hope this helps.. these look amazing.. you done a great job on them.. my first 3 I burnt cause I was trying to figure temp settings out but mine was also in a small convection oven.. plan on upgrading soon to the heat press from heat press nation..

You don’t have to lint roll your tumblers, just wipe them down with a microfiber towel and a little alcohol in a spray bottle would work perfectly. Good job on your first tumblers. Looking like a pro already.

Girl they look great for being your first ones! I have the same tumbler press I don’t use the butcher paper though and I cut right at the edge of the paper if I leave white sometimes the seam will be all weird and have a small white spot. I do 3 pieces of tape this press is a total game changer I use to use a air fryer 😂

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing. In regards to the heating. The brown tape is too thin for me. I purchase from the clear [stronger adhesive] heating tape from Heat Press Nation or Conde.

Interesting. I’ve never seen heat pressed tumblers before. I would consider adding this to my business but I just don’t have enough space in my room!
NIce video Angela - if I can - a few of cutting tips: 1/ if using a hand knife, using one with a more solid blade (the N° 11 blade that was used can bend slightly impacting the straightness of the cut); 2/ a weird tip - when making the cut do not breath (when we breath our lungs expand, affecting our rib cage, affecting our arms as we make the cut).

How did you correct the seam and the top and bottom part of the wrap? I figured if you made the print a couple millimetres bigger than you need it, it would cover the whole space you need to print on. ❤️

Girl make sure to check out Sam’s for that wax free butcher paper! Super affordable for the amount your getting. It’s like $25 for 1000 feet!! It’s where I got mine from! Still awaiting my epson printer to be delivered (supposed to be today 🤞) been using a converted printer in the mean time so I can’t wait to see the print differences!

To remove the tape from the tumblers I use my Cricut hook to lift off one side of paper and it works great less paper mess.

Hi, Angela! How are you? I am following along and I cannot make my Epson f570 to cut the paper right after the images. The printer is ejecting tons of paper, after the image, then cutting it. I have know idea why. I am doing something wrong, but I don’t know why. Maybe you could help me? TIA

PS it is cling wrap lol. I used to wrap pallets back in the day for companies, and they do wrap products and stuff with giant plastic wrap. We had fun with the giant rolls on break. Wrapped co-workers up like burritos, put some on toilets to prank people. Those were the days.

You can get a huge roll of butcher paper at Sam's club for $20 it has taken me over a year to use it.
