I remember the new fast X movie, they use the same car as in the other movies, I saw a scene where doms's car jumps out of a burning plane and lands on a water dam! Such a cool movie and restoration!❤❤😊😊

@@Simon-sv6qe black is the hardest paint job you can do on an actually car, alot of orange peel can happen and imperfections if you're not careful enough. People who paint know this.

My automotive classes are down due to Covid and right now I'm in the middle of saving money for two big car projects I want to do. What better way to pass the time right now than watch somebody restore a car? Even if it is a toy car.
Binge watch some ChrisFix or learn how to do other small automotive repairs. I watched a very interesting video on how to do cams on a car and another one on porting and polishing heads. Keep youself busy and always stay learning. You could also go mess with your cars. I'm sure your family wouldn't mind a free oil change lol. You could also clean or detail your car, which for me is very therapeutic

The one thing I like the most that you do and no other restorer I watch does is adding the texture to the things that would be carpet. That's an amazing touch.

Exactly. It all seems a bit staged with regards to the damage and rust effects as all cars have the same damaged look at the beginning. I still enjoy watching the vids though.

I've watched a few of these, the dudes definitely got some skills restoring them and adding details, ain't gonna deny that, but all the cars starting the same condition, like they were all buried or all are messed up the same way prior to each video. 🤔....... Seems a bit odd

This car is just 4 or 6 years old..but the damage seems like 50 years old .The rust and every damage color look not genuine.
I really like the lvl of detailing your doing to the model. Only sad thing is that the rims are wrong for it though. But besides that. Awesome job man. Thumbs up from me :)

@@peterl6095 He doesn't. He buys them, purposely ages them, then brings them back to life with his own improvements. You will notice that key plastic parts are not aged or damaged. Take the medal body off separate, age it to missing pant and surface rust, remove some wheels and tires, take some doors off the and lay them, throw some dirt, then quickly wash before it stains the plastic. Got yourself a nice weathered abandoned toy to restore. This was an actual put together kit, so assembly and tear down is simple. He doesn't hide the fact that he does this, you can see it in other comments. Have to admit, think he improves each of the models.
