Honestly here for the gardening content! Would love if this became a recurring thing, updates from the garden. An idea: cooking series using majority ingredients from the garden! Pastas, soups, smoothies etc.
Sundai, you are never boring. I’d watch you fill out paperwork for 30 minutes because you always are able to put a spin on things 💗 always good vibes and so relaxing. Loved this!
Was not expecting this video to include a fight against a rat, but expect the unexpected. Once I get my own space, I wanna try growing kale!
Sundai really did some great advertising on kale! I grow vegetables for 3 years now and kale hasn't been one of them. That needs to change!
Just to be very very clear: WE WANT THIS KIND OF CONTENT THIS IS NOT BORING! These are the things we all want to do in our own lives but dont so we can just watch you 😅
You gotta understand Sundai, you're watched to see HOW YOU PRESENT your life. So it doesn't matter what it is, your presentation is what makes it entertaining.
This video got my WHOLE family invested in the plant war 😂(we would love more videos about plants!!)
You're such a hardworking person in everything you do, bless you!❤
I agree, I also feel like it’s only in Japan etc, that people do not cry out for having “limited space” to start farming. They make even the smallest of spaces work, I aspire. 🙏🏽
One of your funniest and most informative videos yet. You have a future in comedy (writing skits, appearing in movies, etc.), not to mention everything else you are so great at such as gardening, carpentry, starting up businesses, exterminator of rodents (Lol), etc. You are truly a Jack of all trades. I know your mom and dad are so proud of you, I sure am even though you are not my daughter. I wish you all the opportunity and success Japan and the universe have to offer you. It is so refreshing seeing a beautiful young lady who does not appear to be caught up in this world. Your videos have wonderful, wholesome content, and I am living my older years vicariously through you. I always wanted to live in Japan, and I see exactly why you love it so much! Keep the content coming!
Girlllll, I’m having the same issue with my garden but with squirrels😩. My neighbor recommended Cayenne pepper and black pepper mixed together in a spray bottle with water and spray that onto the plants 1 to 2 times a day. Rodents and bugs apparently hate the smell and it keeps them away. I spray the leaves then pour the leftover onto the soil. It has been working for now…but they always come back when I forget to spray. Hopefully this works out for you, good luck trooper 🤣🫡!
I don't have a green thumb and won't ever plant anything but I applaud Sundai for her hard work and dedication to her garden. It's beautiful!
Lol me neither my son get mad when I try to plant something "plants are a living thing you are a murderer" 😒 everything die on me
Wash, chop and freeze some of your kale so you can add it to soups and stews whenever you want!
Black woman living in Japan with a garden! You're living my dream! Amazing!
I just learned the other day how those poisons can transfer from mice to the animals who eat them so be careful letting your fur baby get ahold of it after it’s poisoned! ❤
Guuuurl, start a gardening channel and do a "what I do in a week in my garden" series. I'd love to see it. Maybe interview farmers in Japan too, I'd love to see how farmers in Japan operate ❤❤❤❤
Your skills are seriously impressive, I have no interest in gardening but enjoyed this video a lot and wouldn't mind seeing updates or seasonal videos showing us what you're growing each season. You're amazing Sundai! 😊
Love gardening myself as well. My basil grew out of control this summer. They love the sun!
the way you power through obstacles is so inspiring! you're such a solution focused woman and i love that ✨
Hi Sundai! Your garden is cool. I am a gardener, and I absolutely loved this episode! This made me smile. I plan on planting aubergine, bok choy, broccoli, cabbage, collard greens, edamame, kale, kohlrabi, lettuce, lima beans, purple peppers, tomatoes, and zucchini. I also plan on growing milkweed, sunflowers, and zinnias. Thank you for sharing your garden and gardening advice with us. Looking forward to your garden updates and recipes! 🌱🪴🪷🌻🐱🌳🌿🌲🌺
Please do a whole season of "how to grow your own vegetable" i dont have a backyard to grow vegetables and this was SUPER HELPFUL for those like me who only have a balcony or live in an apartment!!! Never thought it was possible!
I've always wanted to know more about your vegetable garden sundai! no content you put out is ever boring
This might be my favorite part of the home buying+new rental series. Sundai, the initiative you take in your life is SO inspiring! I look at my backyard everyday and sigh for when I have the energy to design my garden (in my defense, I'm a 911 dispatcher, I be tired, y'all!). Growing food was one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done and I long to do it again. I looove seeing you get it done, you're so handy and proactive! 🥰 I promise to myself to get my garden ready for next season!
As someone who wants to one day have a homestead, best video ever.
Thank you for promoting healthy meals. This is the healthiest I ever been. My family don’t like fruits and vegetables. I had to learn the hard way. 😢
Honestly amazing. You are really doing a great job!! The effort you put in to everything you do really shows and girl it truly is rare to see someone with such tenacity and follow through!!!😂👏😭 thank you for sharing - very much inspired to start a mini indoor garden at home. 🥳
Even as a baby gardener, I’m super excited to read your guide! We just moved and I had to give up my garden bc we rented a place while we looked for housing. Starting all over now, so far I’m working on bunch onions, basil, cilantro, mint and I forgot what others bc I’m still upset over my last garden. It’s like I have some kind of farmer ptsd over here.
Lawd, the neighbor lady warned you about EVERYTHING BUT THE YOKAI MOUSE IN YOUR CRIB!
Oh no that devil mouse 🐭 didn’t!!! 🙀😮🫢
“A black lady purse at church” scent! Girl! 🤣😂🤣😂
Your garden is incredible. 👩🏽🌾🌿🪴🌱🥬🍅🫑
I’m addicted to watching gardening videos and Japan content so this is a perfect combo for me 😍
Sundai…you just always bringing the fun, inspiration and smiles. The ‘rat war’ had me in tears laughing so hard! That rat was a serious little thug..LOL! I’m glad you won and RIP little plants🙏🏽.
The garden looks wonderful and makes really really hungry! I want to try growing tomatoes and herbs, but also strawberries. Do you have any tips on fruits…especially strawberries? Great video!💗💗
You radiate positivity 💗 thank you for being you
So I’m in NC. My sister and I have planted strawberries, green onions, tomatoes, I got a grape vine at Lowe’s that growing really well! (2 clusters getting big) annnd a meter lemon tree !! ❤
@@SundaiLove Sometimes I just get really lucky and go at the right time & find the last ones but you have to snatch it! Haha Oh and a lady on tik tok said chili pepper flakes will help with pests so may want to look into that. I feel your pain on that.. something been getting into my strawberries 😭
Never been THIS early. Hello Sundai and fur babies. Hope y'all are having a wondeful day in Japan!!
Omgg please do more of these! The rat war had me as invested as my dang dramas do.
Ok here goes, I've been farming for four years and here are some tips: 1st clear out as much clutter on the balcony and around the garden which is prime real estate for them to hide and create homes around your garden.
2nd grow marigold and basil around your garden as a more effective deterrent. They can't stand the pungent smell
3rd place pieces of Irish spring around your garden, it is commonly used to keep deer and rodents out of farms
Lastly, create chicken wire cages with holes too small for them to squeeze through, but make sure you cover the bottom as well
I certainly hope this helps Lil Sunny Sundai ☀️
Sunday I been growing my garden for years and the feeling is so rewarding to know where your food come without being scared of gmo and genetic engineering foods and bioengineering foods these things was making me sick for years and I didn't know that's when I started gardening I'm healthy and sick free thanks for sharing that side of you and there is nothing wrong with gardening and knowing what goes in your body love u ❤
I had stopped gardening, you’ve motivated to start again. Thank you, Sundai for making my Sunday.❤
Your editing has been absolutely stunning recently 😊
Seeds don’t go bad as long as they are stores properly. They may get harder to germinate but they will grow, even if 5+ years old. Happy growing and so happy I found your channel!!!
This worked for me for years. Get a cheap peanut butter powder like peanut butter cookie mix and baking soda. Mix 2 parts and mix 1 part baking soda. Rodents will get major gas from the baking soda, the issue for them is, they can't FART!. Cheap and effective.
Baking soda absolutely works. I used baking soda and corn meal. No more rodents.
LOVE THIS!!!! I was hoping you would post a video about your garden. I've always enjoyed the little snippets you shared. I started my urban balcony garden in Amsterdam this year and it's been fun just getting it started. I have zero clue what I'm doing, but I figured it's all a learning process. Planted some strawberrries which are starting to ripen and it's giving me so much joy. Also planted beets, lettuce, spinach, green beans, herbs, raspberries, chives, carrots, lavender, and my most ambitious item is a watermelon. My husband insisted because I love it so much. Will definitely be downloading your guide cause I can use all the tips I can get! I also have a pomegranate tree which I hope will fruit lol Gardening is such a stress reliever and if you can grow your own food it does bring a level of control over what you're consuming.
Been waiting for this!! So happy my favorite time of the week is here!!! Thank you Sundai!
So glad you did this one, love it!
I love balcony gardens and have my own here in Sweden - nothing more relaxing than taking care of plants 🪴 and enjoy them in meals later! LOVED this video, would not be sad to see more plant related videos from you 😊☀️
Had to click on the notification as soon as it popped up! Ready for another Sundai adventure. 🥰🥰
My husband moved to Canada from Korea 🇰🇷 and has a hard time finding certain vegetables😢. This gives me motivation to grow a garden and save money $$$ ❤
I love how your garden is coming along!
So excited for this video!!! Thanks for sharing about your garden!
Your vegetables are beautifully😭❤️ I also want to have my own vegetable garden someday and this inspired me !!
Thank you for getting this out for us Americans. I hope you get some much needed rest.❤❤❤

We’re thankful for you as well Sundai, you light up our day with your razzle dazzle personality 🎉✨🦋
Ha! Rachet Rat finally makes the vlog! Thanks Sundai for the vlog! I never ate a canned veggie until college cause of family gardens. I'm now inspired to start one. Oh cross fingers I can get something to grow! 🥰
Omg your garden is awesome!!! Definitely downloading the guide.
Thank you for sharing your gardening stuff with us 💗💗
Soooooo love this I’ll have to rewatch just to be encouraged to start. Bugs are our greatest enemies and trying not to use pesticides. So I want to build something like you did and see if that helps. 😊
I'm starting a veggie garden and have some bulbs and roots too.I'm also thinking about getting one of those indoor gardens like that aero garden to grow year round. I like your approach to gardening that you always inspire. Also as a sis with chronic illness, I admire your tenacity and that you're able to achieve your dreams whilst going through the rough times when your sick. That takes a lot of energy-you inspire with that as well-many more blessings to you Sundai.
Love your videos, look forward to them all the time. You go girl with your garden!!❤
I loved watching this. Ive never had a garden but now I cant wait to learn more!
Waiting all of today for your video, needed my weekly dose of Sundays with Sundai - appreciate you!! 🥹🫶🏽
What a green thumb! You have inspired me to start a garden when I move out of my folks home (hopefully later this year).
I think it's gonna be lettuce, tomatoes, snap peas, peppers, and maybe limes and strawberries. I've checked and zone 7a is good for all of them. I also liked the purple blooming plant I saw, what was that? Love your vlogs💛💛💛💛
LOVED this veggie garden vlog💚🌱
Loved this, super fun to watch!!!
Hi Sundai!! Really love the gardening content. It's wonderful. An older friend had me help with her garden in the city. She told me that cayenne pepper keeps rodents away. You can shake it out among your plants. See if that helps!
Give your neighbours some of the vegetables, that is important in Japan.
o m g i love your garden so much :) honestly you inspired me to start my own balcony garden when i move!!
This was exactly what I needed to see thank you ❤😊
