- So me and my best friend decided to play Hell Diver 2 special shout out to my best friend Shirley.
And I kid you not I did not expect for this game to be this good. Kinda started out normal then quickly evolved into pure chaos. This has got to be one of the most action pack best games I've played so far, and the year just started.
This year is going to be a great year for gaming.

Oh my God this game is so much fun, I did not expect this at all if you haven't picked it up you need to grab it (even though the servers are crap right now)
The gameplay is amazing, feels like playing a movie. FYI you can access a weapon menu if you hold down reload that allows you to adjust ROF for machine guns and turn off the power safety on the Railgun by setting it to "unsafe" you can do even more damage per shot but make sure to shoot it in first person view so you can see the charge gauge because if you top it out you blow up lol. This also allows you to turn weapon lights off or on since if you're stealthy like crouching or using smoke grenades you can avoid spending ammo on unnecessary (but still fun!) fights.
Great content hope to see more of this game when they make it a lil more stable
they have since fixed the problems with the servers so anyone hesitant because of that can buy with confidence.
Very fun game . play with my friends every night . Chaos and epic fights !:D

I'm pretty certain that the guy in the recording (Gen. Brasche) has been dead for a long time and they just using pre recorded lines for Basic so that recruits would feel good about themselves doing basic ass tasks that first graders could probably figure out.
well when your recruits only have a 20% expected survival rate for their first drops, you have to make them feel special.

i think those numbers were labeled "first dive" the one where the sentries shoot you.
@@BunMangVietThat's my take as well. Get a well established war veteran, plaster his name all over and act like the dude is personally training you. Way to get morale up for new recruits (of which they need plenty and often).
Learning not to reload after every kill is a stressful learning cycle born over a decade plus of FPS gaming 😭

Get yourself the railgun. You get one shot with it, so you have to remember the reload after each kill muscle memory.

I adore how the intro nails every 2000s military ad ever made. Every inch of this game is steeped in satire of American exceptionalism and the military and it's fucking hilarious every single time.

@@ruski77 People back in the day needed to work in the rain and wind a lot more, so trench coats, long cats and cloaks were more needed. Honestly think they should make a comeback if you're a night guard and so on that has to stand out in bad weather.

When you drop into the middle of an alien nest, in most games 'it is game over, man!' In Helldivers? Business as usual.
try that on difficulty Helldive, you lose half of lives before you can leave it lol (especially large nests)

Did a some helldive runs, and during one the moment we dropped, we landed ina. Best and got overwhelmed and lost at least 8 reinforcements in the span on 4 min or so. Completed the mission for DEMOCRACY

I love how this game both satirizes and appreciates the value of hyper patriotism. It can be exploited via propaganda, but it also can unite people during turbulent times. I like that it neither fully supports or condemns that pride. It's a good balance of satire.

From the previous game, it is Super Earth, not Earth. If the front gets pushed to Super Earth and cannot be pushed back, Super Earth is destroyed. A new Super Earth is established and everything starts over.
Those transactions are in game you just got to look for them 100 per map i think

I've never felt this enthralled and Fuzed with a game since Halo 2... like I arranged my life arround playing Halo2 more.... now I'm arranging my life to play Helldivers.... I think this type of game only comes arround once every 10ish years.... one that actually impacts society and the gaming community, as Halo changed the way people played multiplayer. Helldivers is defining what good live service game is and what many people want...as other live service feels scummy I dont feel that way playing Helldivers and its popularity shows.
I've played the game about 25 hours now, and -- I still get excited, just watching your second mission here. A few hours ago, I went on a ridiculously hard mission with 3 other guys. One by one, near the exit, we dropped. "DEAD" it read. Finally, we were all watching ONE GUY who was alive. If he died, that'd be it. We watched as he, surrounded by bugs everywhere, not only made it to the exit ship, and just barely made it inside. Insanely epic. What an incredible game!!!

I can offer some helpful advise!
Would you like to know more?
#1 Callouts and planning. Theres a compass with °degrees so you can callout on coms points and targets of interest.
Also on the map if you hold down a button while you have the map up you can mark things on the map, if you have a special light armor punging the map can 'UAV' light up targets for you.
#2 Before you reload throwing a granade and or a offensive stratagem like a bomb or turret is extremely handy for creative space/cover to reload.
#3 if both are running then both arnt shooting.
Once the enemies spot you and swarms start happening either bring down thunder with heavy air/arty support and book it 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️
OR
Leapfroging 1 part peels off the other covers.
If you do neither of the above youll just snowball ur troubles without dishing enough hurt out to solve them.
#4 there is a hidden premise to this game in most levels where you go from A to B adventuring that not having the bad guys know about you stops them calling in infinite waves, THEY WONT STOP TILL UR DEAD OR FLED, so most times only make ANY noise or run risky open if you have to. Note, none of that really applies on the hold out kill 500 of em or defend 'x' type missions.
#5 you can reload basic weapons primary and side arm ON THE RUN and some of the heavy tier weapons, you can also reload them mid air with the jump-pack.
#6 try as best you can to 'contain' the fight area so nearby hordes dont get latched on to their buddies and join the shitshow.
Try either running in medium tight circles or holding out in good terrain till the enemies you got coming are cleared QUICKLY so you have a breather, else its a never ending shit show.
#7 the small ○ when you aim is the direction your barrels pointing so it bobs and jumps whenever your hosing gotta correct with tap fire or pulling the aim down or aiming first person.
Thats all off the top of my head, hope it helps you.

They definitely get better shit. And definitely have a better living quality than the other branches 😂😅 and just the energy and emotion behind the comment had me like “Yup, I’ve said that before.” Like I felt it lol

4:50 They pretty much used to have commercials like that for the Navy back in the early 2000s.
They used Godsmack as the background music and it was all about like, "LOOK HOW BAD ASS YOU CAN BE!"
The worst part about fighting the bugs is how they slip INTO your range. It's not always the big bugs you gotta worry about, it's the little ones that creep up on you and close the gap, thus opening up the big ones to finish you. Lots of strategy involved.
3:00 You laugh but that IS basically the story. Not really America, just all of Earths nations decided "Yeah let's not kill each other anymore. We are now one Earth, no we are Super Earth" and that's basically what happened according to the lore.

You really want to try and do that artillery task early on because it provides you with a new stratagem you can use and it's cool to see you have 5 uses of it to match the shells you load into it, so cool

the grenade aim in helldivers 2 has been calibrated for civilian use, you want to smoke out a hole, aim into it, and the highly trained helldiver will baseball pitch that thing in 90% of the time.
the remaining 10% is right when a bug comes out and it bounces.
This is exactly how the Corps got me too. 😂
