You've got some seriously difficult stuff down perfectly, so you're making me doubt my own ear--and checking at least the For Ritz version, you're right! I thought the phrase in e.g., measure 55 was an F#V7, not an F#m7. Coulda sworn that A was sharp. Been playing it that way for years lmao.
I recently found your channel in my recommendations since I'm a big fan of Ritsuko Okazaki. Symphonic Rain OSTs are super underrated and this is the first time I've ever heard the arrangement of Lycéenne. I'm also currently arranging "I'm Always Close to You" but I didn't manage to finish yet since I lack the skills and I only rely with my ears and a bit of Music Theory. Nice to meet you! I suppose Symphonic Rain is highly praised and received relatively, but maybe it's only in Japan and China? I've seen some piano arrangements of it in several sites, including "I'm always close to you". If you're interested, I can share some links.
I agreed it's popular in East Asia rather than the outside world. Sure it'll be wonderful so I can use it for reference for my future arrangements. I wish Symphonic Rain can have more attention.
