    Brother, I have brought (CBSE BOARD)95% in English subject in class 10th and 98% in class 12th. Consultancy people are saying that you do not need any English test.

    • @AbinavJoshi
      @AbinavJoshi  Před 11 měsíci +8

      English proficiency test is ONLY required by your university to ensure that you have proper grasp of English and can study there with no issues.
      If you already have a good score, it's up to the sole decision of your university to either ask you to take the test or waive it for you.
      I hope that helps!

      UMSL is a good university and it is true that STL is by far the most dangerous city in the states. However, there are many safe neighborhood in St. Louis where a lot of students stay. The bad part of STL is usually the north side or downtown area, but if you can avoid living in such shady areas, it's no big deal. feel free to email me (link in description) if you wanna talk more about it! cheers

      @AbinavJoshi  Před 9 měsíci

      To the very best of my knowledge, for BDS/Pharmacy/Law, praye jaso international student cannot study that. You'll have to major in biology first and then complete the prerequisites to be able to enter those fields. Not sure if it's still valid but that was the thing as of 2021
      And full scholarship ekchoti diyepachi rescind hunna, tesko renewal criteria you'll have to maintain a good gpa (3.5+ in most cases). Renewal criteria meet vayena bhane full scholarship hudaina and you'll risk losing that
      But getting 1500+ in SAT will give you full scholarship in almost every university.

    • @AbinavJoshi
      @AbinavJoshi  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Yup, it depends on what kinda unit they are living in too. I’m in the state of Missouri and housing is relatively cheaper. Obvs you might find apartments going well over 2 grand here in stl for a 2 bedroom, but it’s just something I cannot see myself living in😂

    • @ShushiG2022
      @ShushiG2022 Před 21 dnem

      USA is a very big country. They have different time zones in east and west, so u can imagine how big the country is and there are 50 states, so the rent depends on what state u r in. If u live near NY city or California, the rent is higher, but if u live in some small town, then it will be cheaper. Just like in Nepal, the rent is higher in Ktm than that in Lamjung or Khotang.

    • @AbinavJoshi
      @AbinavJoshi  Před 10 měsíci

      It is true. The same applied to me as well -- I did not have to take the IELTS because my SAT English and English (as a subject in +2) had great results.
      I would still recommend to take at least one English proficiency test (be it IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo or even SAT for that matter), so that you would have many universities to consider while applying.

      IELTS and/or PTE, or any other English proficiency test is only required by your university to ensure that you are a right fit for their program. Dherai jasto universities harule ta yo ni waive gardincha if you have good marks in English (+2).
      So, such tests never impact your visa’s approval or denial. It’s the sole decision of the VO for that. In my case, my university asked me for SAT and IELTS but I only took the SAT because my English proficiency was stellar (above 700 in SAT Writing).

      Missouri is a big state and has a lot of cities in it. The worst city to live in would be St. Louis (that’s where I reside) because of the crime.
      However, for students, we have a very safe neighborhood where hundreds of F1 students live in. As you can see in my videos, we celebrate every festival together and go from strength to strength.
      I hope this answers your question!

      Yes, most of the universities should be able to take that into consideration for admission.

      I use credit cards for most of my purchases (namely tuition, car insurance and other utilities)
      For food, it’s mostly Chase Preferred and gas, it’s Discover. Adding all the cash-back and everything, I get roughly $200 back every month. Restaurants like Chipotle, The Cheesecake Factory have a 1:1 ratio for cash back redemption, so nothing really goes out of pocket for that.
      For online shopping, it’s mostly BoFa credit card which gives me 3% back on everything or Amazon Prime Rewards card which gives me 5% back for amazon purchases.
      Summing all of these in a single video where most of my viewers are first time didn’t make any sense, so I left it for a new video. Cheers
