This is called a zvs circuit working principe is that transistors creates a very fast switching ac sine wave, and cuz big frequency transformer doesn't have to be large for high power. Btw great project😀

Another issue is that it will generate high voltage at the output, so when output "soldering wire" breaks, it will give you a nice electric shock. The same can be achieved with just a "soldering wire" and 12V power supply, which has overcurrent limiter. 12V and 2A is 24 Watts, so it should be enough.
