I’ve been wanting a tattoo of some little bit of this poem, but I can’t decide what part still sounds meaningful as a stand-alone phrase: “But still, like dust, I'll rise” “But still, like air, I’ll rise” Or maybe something longer- “Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise.” Or keep it simple: “Still I'll rise” If anyone is unfamiliar with this poem, I strongly recommend that you go read the whole thing! 💕
