Listen, my MECFS started off as fatigue, brain crud, with most of the pain being in my neck and shoulder blades (stiff neck and sore connective tissue). As the years passed (29), the pain started to migrate down my spine and now dominates as a major factor from the middle of my back down with the same sore muscles and connective tissue described earlier. Also, muscle cramping and short contraction durations before pain also dominate in the back. Gut information also increased over the years and now is a major factor with chronic constipation. Lastly, fibro was never a symptom until just a few years ago when a half-dollar size bruised-feeling spot developed on the top-flight area of my skull. The surface of the scalp felt severely bruised but was clear. As the months lapsed, the sore spot sunk beneath the surface of the skin and now resides on the perceived surface of my brain. Weird. It's the only place I have fibro if that's what fibro is. So, yes fibro and CFS are related but have to let you know the "pain" particulars from my experience. Pain was there in the beginning (neck) but was overshadowed by the fatigue and brain inflammation. Now, the pain is seriously overshadowing the fatigue in a big way and am pretty sure it's CFS related.

Thank you for the great work. Wish things would change in the UK as well. We are still living in the dark ages here!

Great webinar. Are microglia activated in a range of inflammatory conditions, and in that case, how would you know that they are the source of the problem in ME/CFS rather than just an effect down the line? Another thing, do viral infections cause temporary changes to the BBB?

Sorry; I jumped the gun there; yes, that's the study you're referencing. Thanks also for bringing this down to our layman's levels, and for the wonderfully explanatory slides.

I have not found any You Tube episodes since Jarred Younger did the Solve CFS webinar in May 2016. If I recall correctly Dr. Younger stated he would routinely do You Tube updates. He had proposed some very innovative research. Am I somehow not finding these updates?

Thank You for doing research. Please work as fast as you can. I have CFS and Fibromyalgia and possibly RA my condition has gotten worse every season that goes by. I think if it continues I may not be able to walk. And because I'm very sedentary I am gaining weight and losing muscle so fast. Help. We have no Doctors here in Northern Maine that specialize in this condition. Help I'm only 53 and had to stop working. I stopped excerzing in 2000 cause of pain. I hate what's happened to my body. I'm obese. Please help.
