No mace would be a poor choice if not the worst. He was as closed minded and rigid as jedi come and would Telegraph to anakin that he doesn’t trust him and only took the job because yoda made him. Anakin would have turned to the darkside much earlier under mace who would drive him right into palpatine arms. Qui gon would hav been the best option followed by plo koon.

I really liked this because it also showed that Windu (while he didn’t like Anakin in the beginning) was willing to bend the rules and saved his mother cemented his love and respect for Windu because he saved his mom from slavery and being killed later. He would let her spend time with Annie and that love would make him grow stronger in the force.
Also this would be redemption for Windu too because of how cold he was toward Anakin in the beginning when they first met.

Mace would be the perfect master for Anakin. He is the only master who understands both light and dark side and has mastered the balance between them. He's the main one who could sense the turmoil in Anakin with vapad. Being the master of the order he knows the ends and outs and is the one person who can bend the rules for Anakin since hes running things. Mace is a match made in heaven for Anakin because he could teach Anakin a balanced attack with both light and dark since Anakin has a past compared to normal younglings. I've always said this that mace is the perfect master and the one who could truly turn Anakin into the best version of himself. Why would anyone else be in charge of the chosen one other then the master himself?

Your unique take comes when you have Mace take Anakin to see his mother. This alters Anakin's thoughts on the Jedi overall since his relationship with his mother is not severed.
Importantly, you also eliminated any relationship with Padme, and hence removed Luke and Leia from existence. It's realistic because your approach affirms one attachment (his mother) while showing the infatuation with Padme to be unnecessary.
It never made sense to have a newly promoted knight train the Chosen One, so your reasoning is sound. It's also reasonable for your Anakin to be much stronger because of the experience of his master, and you demonstrate this plausibly.

this is one of my favorite theories, may I submit that after Windu was master Anakin needed not wanted Windu would have enough oversite to train him in vapaad without worrying about the fall and caught him early enough where Anakin uses purple blade and reaches beyond sora bulq ,while training under Windu Mace uses shatterpoint and sees Anakin's attachment to Padme and since Anakin trusts Mace he would have told him it's not the council seat but access to forbidden texts , where Windu would see a boy not wanting to loose his wife like his mother especially after using vapaad on tatooine against sand ppl but not trying to be a sith Lord something I believe Windu would feel and in order to avoid it, take Anakin to forbidden section and under his eye understand it's not about power over all , it's fear of loss so when Palpatine Says that there is more than dogmatic view of council reflecting on Windu would cause Anakin to say "I kno my master already told me this, he showed me u can use the dark as a weapon of light, whatever secret u hold can only bring pain", mic drop purple blade ignition or he gets Windu and palaptine gets two masters of vapaad where Anakin would like Mace take Vapaad to a level never reached and we'd have a different galaxy

Loved the video! Slight correction, though. Vapaad isn't actually form seven, that's juyo, which I believe darth maul uses? Vapaad isn't among the standard lightsaber forms, it's original to windu. Though, if I remember correctly, it was based off form seven. The differences are both varied stances and of course the ability to channel dark side energy back at your opponent and use it as your own strength.

    • @5stargrim
      @5stargrim Před 2 lety +2

So basically, form seven, juyo, is an amalgamation of the first 6 forms. And vapaad is that on steroids.

    • @VestedUTuber
      @VestedUTuber Před 2 lety +4

Actually, they're both considered Form 7. Vapaad is basically Mace's attempt to make a Jedi-safe version of Juyo, an attempt that mostly failed due to it being impossible to use by anyone who hasn't fully achieved peace with themselves.

    • @krismikewill
      @krismikewill Před 2 lety +2

Form V has two variants, the first referenced as Shien (Ahsoka's preference) and the second as Djem So (Anakin's preference).

It could totally go either way however I feel the ball would have been In Mace’s court as to weather he actually was willing to work with anakin or if he telegraphed to him he had no interest in training him and was only doing so because he had to. I do however highly doubt he would help anakin free shmi under either circumstances. His main priority would be trying to suppress Anakins attachment issues not enable them.

Padme has her own problems to deal with and I highly doubt she would leave her planet after its occupation to go to the outer rim and free a single slave. I doubt she even remembered who Shmi was.
I like that so many of these result in a 'good' outcome but I still feel that under Mace things would have gone badly as Shmi's death would still occur.

None, the whole point of balance is to correct the issues of the Jedi and sith and to bring balance/ destruction of the Jedi counsel/temple and to kill palp. Anakin is supposed to be balance and bring balance, if the Jedi are still in power in the end he didn’t bring balance. Qui gon would have the best chance because he understood anakin and was more connected with the force than others. Anakin was also naturally pulled to the dark so he has to be a balance of both not full Jedi not full sith. He would have the view of a Jedi but wouldn’t think of stuff as light side of the force and dark side of the force, he would only see the force. Also the force its self is balance and will correct itself no matter what. Anakin switches to the dark and it’s him and palp so the force balances by having Luke and Leia. Hope this helps if u have any other questions I could answer if u wanted.

While Windu would have been the only logical choice as a master for Anakin (out of the Jedi alive, of course), I doubt that it would have gone so well. He never liked Anakin, nor trusted him. I think their relationship would have been flawed right from the start. He, overall, was the one who refused to bring him into the order. Not he alone, of course, but he was the one who revealed it as the master of the order at that time.

ANAKIN SKYWALKER'S TIMELINE DIVERGENCES #1: Anakin Arrives
Another possible Master for Anakin Skywalker would be the Rutian (blue hued) Twi’lek male, Anoon Bondara, former Watchman of Ryloth, and the Jedi WeaponMaster just before Cin Drallig. He was a Twi’lek Jedi Master of the right age, who was also a Watchman, and a contemporary to Qui Gon Jinn. As usual, use as much or as little of this as you wish.
I am only going to alter only a few details; first, that he badly defeated Darth Maul in their first combat, that Anoon Bondara started out as a Jedi Sentinel (he was the Watchman of Ryloth after all), with extraordinary lightsaber combat skills, that there was a growing tendency for Jedi Sentinels to imbed in either the Guardian or Councilor ranks for secrecy even from other Jedi, that Obi-Wan Kenobi received only a Knighthood for his role in discovering Sith Apprentice Darth Maul, and that Force Healing was present, although uncommon within the Jedi Order.
Anoon Bondara wields a straight hilted blue-bladed lightsaber and a shoto as a Master of all seven light lightsaber forms, but favoring Ataru (form 4). Although he appears to be a Jedi Guardian due to his choice of weapon, his Watchman status almost screams “Jedi Sentinel”; with the following Force Abilities: Jedi Mind Trick, Telekinesis, Battlemind, Force Empathy, Force Sight, Force Sense and Serenity.
I would figure that Anakin Skywalker had at least the natural potential for the following Force Abilities: Telekinesis, Force Fire (Pyrokinesis), Force Choke, and Tutaminus (Energy Control).
This alternate timeline diverges from the Canon Timeline just after the funeral of Qui-Gon Jinn, slain by Darth Maul on Naboo. Count Dooku had retired from the Jedi High Council and was declined permission to train Anakin Skywalker due to his retirement (and unorthodox views). Obi Wan’s petition to train young Skywalker was declined due to his youth, recent knighthood, and lack of Master status. The Jedi High Council’s verdict on Dooku was politically motivated, and Kenobi was not a Jedi Master yet.
Anoon Bondara was already an established Jedi Master who had successfully trained other Padawans, some of whom had since gained Master’s rank; but did not have a Padawan of his own at this time. He was respected for his skills and considered relatively apolitical and “old school.”
“Anakin needs to be trained”, he argued. “He is Opening to the Force of his own accord and his Force Potential is vast. I can see it clearly. Qui-Gon Jinn’s notes also indicate that he was already using his Force Sense and Force Enhancement subconsciously for Pod-Racing on Tatooine at his age. No Force-Blind Human child could do any of that.”
The Twi’lek continued using coldly logical argument so unlike his typical self. If this had been a lightsaber duel, no one in the room would dare accept his challenge. “Sending Anakin away, say to an orphanage, or back to Tatooine, as some of you propose, would be creating a planetary scale menace once his Force Abilities fully Open. Imagine what a Dark Jedi, a Darkside Force Warrior, or even a Darkside Force Adept could make from someone of such power.”
The Jedi High Council was silent as Master Bondara continued. “I’m not even getting into the debate as to whether or not the Sith Order still exists; we know that Dark Jedi, Darkside Force Warriors, and Darkside Force Adepts do exist, and could create a very dangerous Force-Wielder from Anakin Skywalker.”
"Whether or not this is ‘the Chosen One’, an experienced Jedi Master needs to train him. I ask to do this as one of the non-Council Masters who has trained four Padawans with strong Force Abilities.” The Jedi High Council agreed to do this after Yoda indicated his support, with very little debate. What Master Anoon Bondara said made the hardest kind of good sense to the Grand Master.

ANAKIN SKYWALKER'S TIMELINE DIVERGENCES #2: Anakin Meets Anoon
It was now Anoon Bondara’s responsibility to tell Anakin what the Council decided; a task he dreaded more than facing off against the Council. He also felt his paternal instincts stir more strongly than they ever had for any of his previous Padawans, and this boy had not even been made an Initiate yet. Anoon also felt an affinity to young Skywalker that went far beyond what he had said to the rest of the Jedi High Council.
He found the boy sitting on the floor in a corner crying, picking up the boy before saying anything. “Anakin, I am Jedi Master Anoon Bondara; the Council has decided that you may stay, and train to become a Jedi.” Anakin’s face lit up until Anoon finished.
“As you know Qui-Gon Jinn is dead. Both Qui-Gon Jinn’s newly Knighted former Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Qui-Gon Jinn’s former Master Count Dooku, have petitioned the Council to be the Jedi Master who would train you. Both of them have a strong belief in the Force’s ability to guide our destinies, and that it was either one of their destinies to guide you in those ways.”
However Jedi Knight Kenobi and Jedi Master Dooku were both denied by the Council for different reasons. Obi Wan was denied because he was not a Jedi Master; not ready yet to train a Padawan. Count Dooku was officially denied because of his age, retired Council Member status… and because of… politics.”
      Anakin’s didn’t quite understand. “Politics…?”
“Yes, some Jedi High Council members believe that changes slowly but surely made by a small but powerful group of Masters within the current Jedi High Council are responsible for problems not seen before. Also, Grandmaster Yoda has led the Jedi Order for about ten lifetimes of a human or a Twi’lek; we are seeing dry rot in the Jedi Order.” Anakin understood “dry rot” from his time on Tatooine.
“This small but powerful group seeks to impose their will on the rest of us, and some resist vocally; including Count Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn. Others resist quietly such as Obi-Wan Kenobi and myself. My request to be the Master who trains you was granted. I offer you three promises; I will train you as best I can, I will be there for you as long as both of us live, and I will never lie to you. Search your feelings, and you will know this to be true.” Anoon could feel
Anakin’s rapidly awakening Force Empathy reach out to him.
Anakin Skywalker slowly nodded; with an expression of surprise, and then a smile.
“We are a lot more alike than you think; even though you are Human and I am Twi’lek. Slavery on Ryloth is little different than slavery on Tatooine. The Jedi Order reached out to both of us. I accepted”, Anoon Bondara said. “The big question is ‘can you do the same?’”
“What just happened was your first conscious Force Ability usage; your Force Empathy, an aspect of your Force Sense, is opening fast; similar to my first fully conscious Force experience, and is a lot to take in at once. I understand that. I can fully open you to the Force using the same ancient techniques as were used in the days of our predecessors, the Je'daii.”
“This is what was done for me, and it works better for strong Force Sensitives like us than do more modern ways. This is exactly what Count Dooku or Qui-Gon Jinn would have done for you if either of them were your Master, and if Obi-Wan Kenobi were your Master, one of them would do it for him if Obi-Wan couldn’t yet. The next question is, are you willing to be fully opened to the Force; and if so, when do you want to do it?”

ANAKIN SKYWALKER'S TIMELINE DIVERGENCES #3: The Force Opens
Anakin’s reply was clear and simple. “Yes, now.” He could not see Anoon’s Tchun-Tchin; his Left & Right Lekku, crossed over each other twice, but he could feel something very much like what he had felt from Qui Gon Jinn and his mother Shmi. This was someone who genuinely cared about him.
Master Bondara took the soon-to-be Jedi Initiate Skywalker to his quarters. Past the door was a meditation room. Off the right wall of the meditation room were two desktop personal computer units on the wall opposite the entrance. Two side-by-side curtained-off sparsely-furnished cells were off the wall with a lavatory nearby; opposite the entrance. Each cell had a pallet, table, chair, and small bookcase The left wall of the meditation room was bookcase-lined and full.
The Jedi Master remarked matter-of-factly that Anakin would be living here with him as an Initiate, even though this arrangement was normally not done until he attained Padawan status, and that the right cell was for his use. “Conditional on you showing aptitude, and passing all of your trials; I have already accepted you as my Padawan. Once you are fully open to the Force, you will begin Initiate classes.”
Master Bondara had Anakin lay down on his pallet and close his eyes just before the Twi’lek’s fingertips touched his temples. His Force Sight opened first; he could see the room in spite of closed eyes. The room shimmered with Force currents and eddies when his Force Sense became active, followed by Force Empathy.
Master Bondara and Anakin left the Jedi Master’s quarters, now their quarters, and went through several halls to a classroom. Someone within sensed their presence and telepathically invited them in. As Anoon opened the door, a scream erupted from the room.
A Kel Dor Jedi Master named Plo Koon knelt over a Mirialan Jedi Youngling with bleeding from his head and a bloodied fist-sized steel ball on the floor nearby, and several Jedi younglings of various species watching with one crying. Anakin knelt beside Plo Koon as his Force Sight and Force Sense activated.
Master Koon explained that the child was suffering from a depressed closed skull fracture due to a mishap while trying to levitate an object too heavy for his current Force Abilities. He had been showing off. The Kel Dor’s hands were placed around the injury; Plo was using Telekinesis to precisely lift the skull fragments back into place.
Anakin felt a growing warmth in his palms as his hands moved intuitively to a spot between Plo Koon’s much larger hands. The Kell Dor nodded. Both Jedi watched via Force Sight and Force Sense as the fracture vanished. The Mirialan Youngling got up slowly as Plo Koon waved away a newly arrived Ithorian Healer from the Jedi Medical Corps.
As Anakin rose, Master Koon gently placed his hand on the boy’s shoulder. “You did well young Skywalker. It is obvious that you do not need to be opened to the Force. It has already been done. The good deed that you just did will echo through time. You are no longer considered a Youngling; as of today you are a recognized Jedi Initiate.”
“Now I must continue opening these Younglings to the Force.” With that, the Kel Dor reached into a box and handed each of these a small Kyber Crystal as they all assumed cross-legged sitting positions, focusing on their crystal, and some levitating. Anakin felt a stirring in the Force as a Togruta girl’s Force Sense unfolded like a delicate flower. Master Koon placed a very light-proof blindfold over her eyes and then held up two fingers while asking “how many fingers.” The little girl quickly answered “two.”

ANAKIN SKYWALKER'S TIMELINE DIVERGENCES #4: Jedi Initiate Training
Master Bondara and Anakin quietly departed the room, with the Twi’lek explaining what Anakin had experienced in a low voice. “You have Force Healing and it will grow stronger in time. If you pass your Padawan trials, there will be a place for you among the any of the three Paths; the Path of the Jedi Guardian, the Path of the Jedi Consular, and the Path of Jedi Sentinel.” He explained each of these Paths.
The Twi’lek proved to be a kind-but-firm Master, especially during Anakin’s early days when he was still adjusting to life in the Jedi Order. Anoon Bondara understood the need for what he was doing, as being something that both Humans and Twi’leks needed to have, but from his viewpoint did not often get.
Anoon Bondara’s compassion made for a kinder, gentler Initiated Anakin. His first non-sensory Force Ability was Force Healing; a power that Canon timeline Anakin Skywalker did not have at this point. The boy was working in the Temple Infirmary for a few hours every day under the watchful eyes and instruction of several elderly semi-retired Jedi Masters assisted by Jedi on the disabled list who also had Force Healing Ability.
Master Bondara explained that among the Jedi, it was considered a very good omen that a clearly LightSide power manifests as a Jedi Initiate’s first Force Ability beyond the Neutral Awareness Powers. Force Healing was an ability that Darksiders and especially Sith almost never had or could learn, or lost if fallen to the DarkSide. He also commented that Master Koon’s technique for opening a youngling to the Force was slightly newer than his; from the early days of the old Republic.
Anakin was something of a mystery to the elderly Jedi Force Healers. They were sometimes sent Jedi Knights and Masters with Force Healing Ability to “help out” while on the temporarily or permanently disabled lists, and occasionally they were sent a very talented Padawan with Force Healing for “extra training.” Anakin was only an Initiate.
The young Initiate pushed his Force Healing hard, and far beyond his age as his power increased rapidly. In less than a month, he had his “first death on the table experience”; a near-dead human female Jedi Guardian who encountered a firefight with a Zygerrian slaver. Anakin did his best, pushing himself beyond his normal limits, but was unsuccessful. He continued work on other patients, doing his best through a veil of tears.
One of the old Master Healers in charge spoke to him about this, asking if he knew the Guardian who died. Anakin truthfully answered “no”, he was sad about how much his patient had suffered. They had Mind-Linked to ease her pain, and that he was concerned about what he had done. The old Master explained that he had done nothing wrong. “Caring for another, even love for another, is not necessarily an attachment.”
With Anakin’s permission, the old Master Healer Mind-Linked with him, and discovered that the now-dead Guardian had left memories of the incident in Anakin’s mind. The perps had escaped, but the Jedi’s killer was a Zygerrian slaver well known to Republic authorities but never convicted. Using this information, the Republic courts were able to arrest, try, and imprison the slaver for the rest of his life.

ANAKIN SKYWALKER'S TIMELINE DIVERGENCES #5: Early Padawan Training
Anakin’s other instruction also included academics, physical training, and work on his Force Abilities. His exercise routines often resembled dance, but were turned out to be good preparation for learning his first Lightsaber form, Ataru (Form 4), after Shi Cho (Form 1). He learned how to Force-Enhance his agility, strength, and stamina to eventually equal his Master’s Force-Enhanced abilities. His Force Sight, Battlemind, and Force Sense, including Force Empathy and Serenity were also strong.
Anoon was able to sense a predisposition towards the Telekinesis in the boy and would help him develop full-fledged Telekinesis early; with Force Pull and Force Push almost as afterthoughts. Anakin also had one ability that his Master did not have, the ability to perform precise physical manipulations with his mind, described as Microkinesis. This ability granted Anakin the ability to open physical locks at a distance and without the use of tools. The boy was successful in showing his Master how to do Microkinesis.
Anoon commented, “there is an old saying among Jedi that ‘a Jedi Guardian would cut open a locked door with his lightsaber, a Jedi Consular would ‘persuade’ someone else to open the door via the ‘Jedi Mind Trick’, while a Jedi Sentinel would simply pick the lock. Now you have gone beyond that”
The next ability that Anakin manifested was Force Choke. This was an ability that his Master also had, and warranted a serious discussion. Master Bondara had successfully taught Anakin discretion, especially about use. He admitted to his own knowledge of Force Choke; along with his quietly unorthodox attitudes and methods regarding the training of Jedi Initiates and Padawans. Love could lead to attachment, but love itself was not necessarily an attachment.
Thus, Master Bondara taught Anakin restraint about using Force Choke; an ability that many Jedi regarded as being “of Sith origins”; despite the fact that (currently rare) Jedi Sentinels also sometimes manifested it, even if they never showed Dark Side tendencies. Force Choke was to be a weapon of final resort only. Again, the Padawan heeded his Master’s words. Anakin also began his lifetime study of Tutaminis and Jedi Mind Trick.
Anoon Bondara also paid close attention to developing Anakin’s non-Force/non-lightsaber skills to include Teräs Käsi and technical skills; in the latter case including providing him instruction via various Jedi Masters and sometimes even Jedi Service Corps members who were more skilled at these things than him, in exchange for instruction/training provided for these others and their students; sometimes by her, and sometimes by Anakin himself as he advanced. This also taught him negotiation.
In keeping with his blue lightsaber and Twi’lek heritage, Anoon Bondara started training his Padawan to be a highly capable and skilled duelist; moving him swiftly from the Shi Cho (Form 1) basics that every Jedi knew to Ataru (Form 4), Shien (Form 5), and Djem So (Form 5); which he had mastered; training him to near-Mastery levels. Anakin started training with his Master’s first pair of lightsabers; a standard (katana-length) one and a shoto, both with the blue blades of a Jedi Guardian.
These weapons had telepathic controls that responded as though they were made for him. The boy noticed that he recovered strength in the Force when wearing or holding these blades much faster than without them. Both weapons also had stun settings

ANAKIN SKYWALKER'S TIMELINE DIVERGENCES #6: Midway Padawan Training
Anoon Bondara taught Anakin Niman (Form 6), primarily to aid his Force use in combat and to begin his studies of Jar’Kai (dual-blade fencing techniques). Anakin also learned some Soresu (Form 3), and Makashi (Form 2). His Master also opened the door to Juyo (Form 7) as much as he thought Anakin could handle.
Anakin Skywalker’s Force-Assisted pod-racing skills were upgraded to basic piloting skills usable for starfighters to small freighters under his own Master before learning spacecraft repair alongside a young female Twi’lek Jedi Knight named Aayla Secura, once Padawan to the human Jedi Master Tholme. Anoon Bondara himself was more of a small freighter pilot.
During his spacecraft repair lessons, the Padawan discovered that he had the Force Ability Mechu-Dera (a near-instinctive affinity for machines and how they worked); an ability that neither the Master Tinn nor Master Bondara possessed. With Anoon Bondara’s permission,
Anakin was able to teach Mechu-Dera to both Masters. After learning spacecraft repair, he studied starfighter piloting under the Iktotchi Jedi Master Saesee Tinn.
After gaining advanced starfighter piloting skill under Saesee Tinn, a Jedi Master who had never had a Padawan, Anakin learned computer splicing under the slightly mysterious Mirialan Jedi High Council Member, Master Luminara Unduli; along with her current Padawan Barriss Offee, also a Mirialan.
Anakin picked up this skill quickly. Master Unduli and her Padawan, like most Mirialans, were both very close-mouthed about their pasts and how they acquired their computer skills. They both also wielded the green-bladed lightsabers of Jedi Consulars. Master Unduli treated the Padawans equally and trained both thoroughly.
In the middle of his computer training, Anakin made an accidental discovery while opening the door of a small combat practice room. The door was locked, he thought accidently, since no one had scheduled the room for training. A quick and casual use of Microkinesis quickly opened the lock to reveal Barriss Offee and Master Unduli sparring.
Both of them were using yellow-bladed lightsabers. Barriss Offee turned, hissed, and raised her weapon menacingly at Anakin; who raised his hand, focusing his Telekinesis to disarm his fellow Padawan.
Unduli’s Padawan yelped in pain as she dropped her lightsaber, barely managing to turn off the blade. Anakin noticed a scorch-mark on the floor mat where the fallen lightsaber hilt had landed. Master Unduli commanded both to cease combat, and both complied instantly. Her next words were “Anakin, there is more to you than meets the eye; your Master does not have Force Fire; yet you do. The Mirialan paused, “how?”
Anakin’s response was “Respectfully, Master Unduli; there is much that I do not know about myself. My mother was not Force-Sensitive”, and I do not even know my father’s name. This is my first manifestation of Force Fire. I request permission to heal your Padawan’s hand.”
Master Unduli nodded, and Anakin took the Mirialan Padawan’s extended hand as the Master explained. “Both Padawan Offee and I could be described as ‘dual-talented’, with ties to both the Jedi Consulars and the Jedi Sentinels. Our work often combines investigation and diplomacy. It is my wish that you share this conversation with Master Bondara only, unless he commands otherwise.” The burns disappeared in minutes.
Skywalker’s response was “I will do as you say, Master Unduli.” He did not notice the glare of Barriss Offee.

This is bullshit. There is no way Mace Windu would bend the rules. For this guy, rules is all he believes in. There should have been atleast some kind of beginning quarrel between them. Windu didn't trust this kid to be a Jedi, and the kid didn't like him because he was the first one to protest against him. Mace Windu was also quite arrogant. Just.....no way, total disregard for either personality in this fanfic. It's great you always want a happy ending with your stories, but your getting a bit repetitive, and this was is simply too unrealistic.
