  • In week 8 of Let's Talk With, Scott interviews 1998 Ladies Olympic Champion Tara Lipinski. At the time, and the tender age of 15, she was the youngest woman to win Olympic gold in figure skating. She was also US National Champion and World Champion in 1997. Tara skated with Scott on Stars on Ice until they each retired. She also became a broadcaster for NBC and is now teamed with Johnny Weir and Terry Gannon as figure skating commentators for NBC.
This conversation was recorded on Friday, May 15th for an audience registered through the SHARP 4 Sports elite training program, under the umbrella of the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy at Ford Ice Center in Nashville, TN. NOTE: There were some connectivity issues during this episode, so Scott & Tara's feeds appear a bit blurry for part of the interview. We apologize for that, but were at the mercies of the internet.
Join us for Scott's next LIVE interview with more of his amazing skating friends, every Friday, by registering at SHARP4Sports.com. 50% of the proceeds from the live attendance fees are donated to the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.
