In the show "Codename is ATEEZ", Hongjoong described his and Mingi's rapping style as Tom&Jerry which I totally agree with. The contrast of their tone is heavy but not too prominent that it might feel like they're competing within songs. Their verses always musically complement each other and I was actually shocked at how they always seem to manage to pull that off. Makes their music more alive, idk if anyone know what I'm trying to say lol.

They all write the songs but Hongjoong composes the instrumentals
Hongjoong has composed some songs to ATEEZ like From (with a help of Eden and Buddy) but for the albums the songs are composed by Eden, Buddy and Leez (@eden_ery_music in Instagram). Mingi and Hongjoong wrote some of the lyrics tho.

When you said Seong Hwa reminds you of kai = very good looking and then the next scene you asked if it's this guy? Then you said no it's not this guy, he's a different guy. 🤣 It was still Seong Hwa. I chuckled so badly. But agree Seong Hwa is very good looking.
I get the feeling that he got confused between Wooyoung and Seonghwa for a second because SH was pulling all the faces when doing the driving dance. Then again I'm saying this because WY reminds me a lottt of Kai. SH reminds me a bit of SVT Jun and NCT Winwin.

*I swear say my name gives me goosebumps all the time especially when Hongjoong raps, and Jongho hits those notes and when the last chorus drops. its EVERYTHING*
Let me just say right off the bat before I get a thumbs down from anyone -- I think Ateez is *monstrously* talented and they're going to have a very strong debut year. (This breakdown was awesome, by the way! I like the added bits of texts explaining different film production terms people may not be familiar with!)
But can people *FINALLY* stop spamming PD about them in every video, post, tweet, stream, etc? That's why the Stray Kids "Get Cool" reaction got axed you know -- on twitter they said people went too far and "breached personal boundaries" asking for the video. So now no one gets to see it. Patience is an essential skill to learn, y'all!
I understand that people were being way to impolite, but when he didn't even utter A WORD about the Reaction and A MONTH passed with no content while he uploaded other reactions frequently, it's understandable that we want the reaction and grew impatient. He could have just said that he's gonna post it a bit later etc. Just saying

Well on the ateez listening party stream they had announced the date they would release the video and they didn’t release it on that day. I watch the streams so I knew that they were waiting to post it, but for people who don’t watch the streams it must’ve been confusing to watch the days go by without the video that was already informally announced. So although it was annoying, I understand why people were demanding it so much.
@@lisakroger5383 I dont think he owes us any explenations to be honest. If he isn't posting a reaction or making it he probably has a motive for it. I'm not sure of what was done to him but the channel is his and he posts whatever reactions he wants, of course people can ask for reactions but as far as to go "breach personal boundaries"? Just be patient. If he is to make a reaction for something, he will, no need to push for it. Its kinda like the stan LOONA thing (I'm a Orbit so no shade), it was done so much that now people dont wanna stan LOONA cuz it blew out of proportion, so like it happened with the stan LOONA thing, it can also happen with some "React to Stray Kids" thing

Pirate King is such an well-produced song with many switch over parts of beat and the texture along with the mixture is amazing. Actually Pirate King is the title song too :))) it always a good choice to listen to Ateez's music.

- seonghwa (1998) is the blonde member. hes the eldest in the group.
- yunho (1999) is the member who was sitting on the chai in the scene. in this song he didn’t get a lot of lines but he’s the main dancer. he has black hair and looks a little bit like exos chanyeol??
- yeosang (1999) is the guy in the pre chorus at the front
- san (1999) is the “zico” guy with the red streaks
- mingi (1999) is the deep rapper member. you said he looks intimidating but offstage he’s literally a huge puppy

Regarding the vocals and the rappers I totally agree with you. Hongjoong, the higher pitched rapper is INSANELY talented. In the live stages he rlly has an outstanding stage presence, I'm always blown away by him. He's my bias for exactly that reason. Mingi is the rapper with the deeper voice. When I first listened to and watched some of their songs hongjoong and mingi stood out to me the most. Now the vocal that with the insanely high voice also stood out to me alot, especially after I watched some Mr removed stages. You could hear that he always slayed the notes perfectly and his mic was rlly loud. Amazing vocal

PD, you are doing yourself a great disservice by not at least listening to Pirate King or HALA HALA, especially in context to the partnering songs. You're basing all information on an incomplete picture.
Treasure and Pirate King are two sides of the same coin. Same for HALA HALA and Say My Name, the are both concepts of duality and what one finds to be important to the world and what one finds important to ones self.

The rapper with the low voice is Mingi, and he's actually the biggest fluffball, not intimidating at all. The other rapper with the higher pitch is Hongjoong, he's the leader of the group. The one you pointed out for his high notes and strong vocals is Jongho, the maknae. He's known for splitting fruit in two while singing beautifully, he went viral for that.
For the other members, the one with the blond hair is Seonghwa, the boy in the box is Yeosang. The one you said looks like Zico is San. The one with the grey hair is Wooyoung, and the last member is Yunho, also with black hair. ^-^
Its interesting the contrast of Hongjoong and Mingi, him being the fluffball and the one actually intimidating is Hongjoong (Also fluffball and adorable but you know xD)

Every time I watch the mv I try to figure out if they’re going from the black to the normal clothes/identities or the other way around. But I still haven’t figured it out tho I wanna say it’s black to regular. Speaking of, you missed what I think is an important shot concerning this: the one where San (the one with the mirror fragments) looks into the mirror and the reflection is himself in the black outfit. Also relevant is that Say My Name is the prequel to treasure/pirate king, thus the messy room with the desk, which has a compass on it.
