In college I used to play this mix to longboard from my campus dorm at the top of the hill all the way to the gas station for smokes, an Arizona green tea and a hot dog… took exactly 10 minutes which I know because that’s how long this mix is…
Just a few hours ago I heard beautiful lies on a mobile game ad on Facebook and immediately recognized it but didn’t remember the title so I came here to get it and it unlocked this 12 year old memory of mine.
It’s amazing how music can make a memory seem like it just happened yesterday. Feeling truly blessed to hear this again and relive some good memories

Dec 19 2020. 10 years ago today UKF D&B 2010 Album was released! Can't believe it has been already 10 years. This album means a lot to me! This was the first Drum and Bass Album I have purchased in Itunes in late 2014! This will always remain a classic for me! I really want to thank UKF for introducing me to classic D&B from 2010! So many great memories with this album! Honestly amazed how far Drum and Bass has gone.

I guess I'm not the only one who favors many tracks pre 2011 than post 2011 right? I got into the scene around 2007/2008 and in my opinion we had so many amazing tracks and mixes back then. Somehow DnB lost in popularity after 2010~ imo - sadly! :(

Same thing here, i feel like 2009-10-11 tracks are the real dnb, and after tracks like Gold dust or Louder dnb hit new era, era of shitty dnb for kids. I feel really nostalgic after listening to this megamix, this is pretty much the first thing of dnb i ever heard, so yea...
I agree with you too, i feel like DnB has recently lost the complexity that it used to have around this kinda time, and the intensity has dulled too, Im not as excited for new UKF tracks as I once was.

Fuck Dnb used to pump out some unreal tracks. Something about the style that was going in electronic music at this time, every songs a classic.

I remember listening to this mix back in 2012 and saying damn I missed this by two years. In Puerto Rico the dubstep wave hit hard by that time but I kept searching and stumble across this banger. My favourite song from this album si Climax from Camo&Krooked. Great memories 🙏🏻

LifeSize2100 well, I wouldn't say 'commercial and shitty' myself, but I have noticed that UKF most of the time post shortened versions of the songs. This song is a mixtape, so you can check another UKF song as example.
