Excellent video. I happen to live in an area that has both NCAA D1 and Major Junior within a few miles of one another. Both are fun to watch and have good programs. The NCAA is tighter checking with older players whereas Major Junior is mainly 17-19 year olds and more of an NHL style. The Soo Greyhounds do send more players to the NHL than the Lakers do but LSSU still sends players on to minor pro hockey every year (and they have a rich tradition of NHL alumni) and the players also have a degree to fall back on if pro hockey doesn't work out. I guess it would depend on the kid but from where I live, seeing both programs regularly, I can say both are good quality hockey programs, that have excellent reputations here in the community. Couldn't go wrong with either in my opinion, just depends on what you're looking for. Keep up the great videos.

For me, as a low level player with big dreams, if I was given a chance to play WHL, I would. But I am not a future prospect by any means so I have trying to keep my options open with NCAA so I get to play hockey longer.

Some players take longer than others to develop. You never know what could happen.
