Takeda is the best addition to the MK roster in a long time. Love the drip, whips, story, weaponry. Him and Erron Black deserve more recognition.
Definitely wished they brought Erron back but if he doesn't come back then he's a shoe in for MK2 ( MK13 ), though waiting is gonna be a bitch.

Edit: to all ya in the replies saying I’m wrong, YOU are now wrong because NRS just confirmed in the Kombat Kast that in the new timeline, Takeda is Kenshi’s COUSIN
And based on the leaked story dlc, he's still Kenshi's son from Havik's timeline

Literally, i wanted Scorpion with same playstyle of MK11 with sword style, so i was dissapointed on MK1 Scorpion. Takeda gonna be a good replacement

I'm pretty sure that is a teleport because Takeda did have a teleport in his Shirai Ryu variation in MKX, which makes sense since Scorpion was his mentor and caretaker.

ive been waiting for Takeda since i saw his portrait revealed, finally!
If those first three hits are all 1 combo string, that's a really good string: swaps sides, it looks like it hits overhead (with a noticeable gap), causes a ground bounce, and recovers quick for an air combo follow up. The air kunai used meter and all 3 kunai explosions brought the opponent close to you, he's looking really fantastic so far. My only critique is that the start-up looks a little slow but it has range.
He has the best things from every variation it seems

That teleport definitely is a special move it looks when he ends the combo it looks like the same string and it has a third hit that cancels into the whip spear a teleport that combos with no meter takeda is back let’s gooo

I think what would drastically improve the least used kameos/kameo moves -- if NRS doesn't want to make them all assault types -- would be to cut the Summon assist pose time to where your character poses for for a brief moment until the Kameo is on the screen starting their move, then you should be able to act while the assist is happening. Like imagine calling Goro's Punchwalk assist and you being able to attack while the assist is happening!?
Another buff would be to reduce all of the Kameo cool downs to no more the Khameleon assist recharge speed.

Cash out combos should be a thing for every character using all resources for big damage make the damn game fun

5:35 I've been thinking that myself for awhile..If only, they could alter the enhanced teleport for say..a flaming backflip like in MKX. Or, some other form of !!! move. Like, Get Over Here! into a High Boot. He lacks Oomph. 7:03 Sub Zero got a frames/speed buff recently. Making his starters/openers more effective. 9:44 Tremors activation time is too slow to effectively use. (specifically the armor)
