I have done aerial root grafting on this tree 5 years ago, but still haven't seen any problem, grafted aerial roots produce more new aerial roots, you need to do this 1 month before monsoon,
You have to make sure that the part of the tree where you will be grafting does not get watered, if water gets in that part the fungus will get stuck, as a result the grafting process will not be successful.

This types of areal root are not stable and not long lasting as natural areal root

: I know its late, but can this technique be done during monsoon? By making sure to wrap the cut area with plastic so that water doesn't get in?
