Perfect - Thank you for your reply and good luck in your next projects !!!
This is like a work of art to me. I admire the ingenuity and appreciate the amount of time that went into this. Thanks for sharing with us. I've already got leadscrews and aluminum extrusions ordered and on the way. As soon as the plans are released, my Prusa will be busy printing for days. Keep on creating!
HEY! Did u get around to making this cnc and if yes do you think its still a good option to start making it today?
@@ronreynolds5580 I did build it. It worked ok for me. The design was great but my mistake was trying to build it bigger than the plans and printed parts out of PETG. PETG was just a bit too flexible. PLA+ would be a better option. If I had made it smaller and printed parts from PLA it would have been a lot more solid. Not sure if it's still a good idea to build today because of the higher cost of parts and how hard it would be to source them. The designer of the machine was super helpful. Take a look at Sienci Labs -Longmill. That's what I ended up getting. Good luck!
Astonishing project! Great engineering and beautiful, neat design! Thank you for sharing!
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant and thank you so much for sharing. Whilst I can't build this at the moment I will definitely build this in the future.
This is fantastic!
Learning with joy how to make something. the speed of the video is perfect almost like you wanted us to not miss anything.
Omg gold explanation without worlds this is really international!

I love it. I just bought my first mini cnc router, a Sainsmart Genmitsu 3018pro. I just installed limit switches and a z probe. I'd love to have a 3d printer to print parts like you did. I can see so much potential with this machine.
Absolutely brilliant! Very excited to see the STLs released and build one myself!
Excellent work!
hey did you ever get around to building this and do you think its a good idea to start building it today?
Waow, quel boulot, j'adore !!! bravo vraiment !
Cordialement
W. G.
This is the best hobby cnc i ever seen. When STL files will be available i will start to build one like this. Great job.
I like it!!! Just when i thought the large version couldn't get any better.
Nice work!!! im so happy that you make another version! i bought all the profiles for the bigger version, but now im gonna buy another to make this version!! im so impressed for the quality of your designs, and cant wait to make my CNC diy!!! i already have my 3d printed, that i make with a prusa i3 steel frame, and really like to do the things at my own.. and this is so inspiring to me!! i cant wait to the parts arrive my home and start to make this version!! Please, share the 3d parts, so i can start to print them! Thanks sooo much for the excellent work you are doing and my congratulations for the amazing CNC you did! Thanks !!
Thank you for all this compliments !
I will release file as soon as possible !
So yeah... I just ordered the Creality Ender - 3 and bookmarked this page. Nice work!
Awesome 💯 I think this is the best diy cnc that you can rebuild, because the construction is very solid and durable. Like this one 🎉
Brilliant, attention to detail, design, everything about this is amazing including the designer.
Looking forward to test vid
@@createforcuriosity225 oh I just seen it, dont know how I missed that cos I looked before writting that comment. Thank you
Hi !! In this project it is seen that there is a significant investment of hours, both in assembly and installation, as well as in printing parts, not to mention the money invested in aluminum profiles and others. but more satisfying is seeing that everything works perfectly after spending so much time and effort. Good job friend..👌🏻😉
whoa !!!!!!
I lose my word so much that your cnc is very well designed.
I would like to have one like yours
This looks amazing, looks way beter and maybe even more solid then some of the other budget cnc’s on the market. Thanks for sharing!
Pure gold!
I can't wait to see the tests!
@@createforcuriosity225 NO problem, it really is a great build and i'm very impressed with the power you can mount to it.
Hi there,
nice work. Thank you for all your efforts and work and for providing all the data.
A note about the X axis:
The rollers in the middle of the 3 rollers are of no use to you. On the contrary, they cause you additional problems. If the middle rollers are higher than left or right, then they either tilt left or right. 2 castors are better and are sufficient in terms of stability. You can see that later in the milling image.
I would use eccentric bushings (Aliexpress) to be able to adjust the rollers at the top and bottom without play in all axes. You can adjust this again and again depending on the wear on the castors. You can't do that with your liners.
You can also use M10 (or M14, which have a 2mm pitch) threaded spindle. They are cheaper, only you have to make the nuts yourself and change your design with regard to 3D prints.
I removed the Tr 8 spindle in the Z axis of my 3 printer (anet A6) and installed an M8 threaded spindle for it. I made the mother myself on the model of the Tr8, so that this fits 1: 1 in the picture. No more adjusting the Z-axis if you have to thread the filament in the extruder.
best regards
W. G.

I came here to excuse myself for my bad words some time ago :D I was declaring your machine as a "Suicide Machine" (you may remember xD) because the Z axis could not handle my 2000w heavy Milling spindle (which i should not have expected in the first place because it was built for a lighter Makita Spindle). However i would like to praise you for your beautiful and perfect work of machine art. All the measurements of the X and Y Axis are PERFECT and i am sure the Z Axis is working fine for Makita too. I decided to reprint the machine once again and re-designing some parts of the X and Z axis so that it works for my 2000w Motor.
There are now two X Axis in paralell septerated by 15cm space, the Motor is BETWEEN them and is being guided by 4 linear rods instead of two, and two threaded rods pulling the motor up and down (used your nema 23 version)
Once more: You did a great job with all your big cnc machines and i never came across any better machines in this size. Thank you for all the work and for the awesome video documentation on how to put the machine together!
Excellent Work!!! I am building your previous CNC, modified to work with laser, pen and cutter.... I am waiting for this heavy to build my real cnc !!! Your work is Amazing!!!
Bonjour
Très beau travail et belle réflexion bravo ! ;)
Salut !
Meilleurs vœux pour cette nouvelle année.
Quel beau boulot. Félicitations !
Any possibility to see this 3d printed cnc parts upgrades to aluminium parts made by this machine itself :)
Super projet, ça me donne envie de me lancer dans la réalisation d'une cnc du même genre, continue comme ça
Impressive job man. WELL DONE !
WOW!!! Bravo! You are the Best!
Really Nice build! Building something myself right now
Excellent job! I just made a MPCNC within the last few weeks and I am very intrigued by this heavier design.
My only concern would be the longevity of the V-Wheels and how they would hold up to loads compared to bearings.
I see you used PLA and said it took about 200 hours. What basic settings did you use when printing? nozzle size, # of walls/perimeters, layer thickness, infill type, infill percentage...
Great build! I like the 6x3 C Beam extrusion idea, although it's unfortunate you can't utilize the space inside for a cable chain or linear drive system.
Beatiful machine! Thanks!
superb versatile design i'been build one ffor this its amazing and you are great genius Topsy
Merci beaucoup a nouveau ahah !
I built a mpcnc. Now i have seen this machine and i am impressed. That is my next projekt. The parts from my mpcnc become recycled in this cnc machine.
Excellent job !!! Very well designed and engineered. It's a monster Mostly Printed CNC. Thumb Up. :-)
Very nice my friend! Looking forward to seeing more cutting from this beast.
Thank you !!
Yeah I m so exiting to test cut in different material with different speed ahah
i swear that i would leave a like every time i watch this video....
Magnifique
This looks great!!
A quick question: Is there nothing gained by using linear rails instead of making the V-groove and avoiding wheels that get chewed up over time?
You are getting really good at this. Wonderful build. I wonder if additional horizontal V slot wheels on the X axis (perpendicular to the wheels on top) would increase or decrease stiffness.
Keep up the good work.
Hi, I very appreciate your design on start and I have downloaded the files, I have one week that when I start printing parts :) and I have some of the parts from my laser machines what I use for a rebuild this one what is mace better front of Chinese kit, like this I have more option (CNC router/CNC Dremel/laser engraver and some 3D printing) nice possibility on size very customizable on your space. GREAT JOB and good luck
Hi
I need your help. I am unable to download the files. Would you please send me the files of this CNC machines to my MAIL ID: ameshnokia@gmail.com.
I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks
First i would like to congratulate your project, in my opinion the best DIY CNC ive seen till now. I would like to ask, what do you think, would be possible to add a CO2 laser to this same CNC so i would become a 2 in 1 CNC mill and laser cuter?
Thanks !
I think its possible to do a 2 in 1 CNC with a laser diode, but will be difficult with a CO2 laser
3 minutes in and im allready subbed. wonderful brain you've got there bud
Design page (with dowload !) : createforcuriosity.com/design/9oMwl8kL/details
can you pls share some printing details such as infill percentage, layer height support requirement etc. and also choice of material too?
I am currently writting this ahah
@@createforcuriosity225This is an awesome project waiting anxiously for the full write-up looks like my printer will be busy busy for the next few months.
What does the complete unit cost if you have someone do the 3d printing for you?
what is appxoimate cost of materials?
