The most upsetting thing for me is raftaar’s silence on this issue and I get it that he’s the owner, he ain’t involved in all of this etc etc but it’s raftaar mann! he made all of us believe in this ‘parivaar’ wali bakchodi and that’s why we resonated with the label right? kalamkaar never had a good bunch of artists. This is EXACTLY why Record Label's run by businemen who have zero knowledge about music is disastrous. We've seen prime examples of it in the past with Azadi Records, Artistaan, Incink etc. You cannot expect a Hip-hop label to do numbers the way Bollywood music does. It needs nurturing and time. If you don't give your artists their creative freedom how tf do you expect them to deliver? And on top of that you don't give them royalties, don't pay them on time or pay them at all for that matter. There's a reason why we see all these artists moving on to the Independent path of making music. Much better to go solo than be signed to a shitty record label.

I love kalamkaar artists, I do but some of them are also to be blamed.
1. Raftaar call kalamkaar parivar but instead of standing with Brishav, he just said that i am loop and I don't look in artist matters anymore.
2. Krsna- Raftaar explicitly said that Krsna is a partner in Kalamkaar, not only that, Krsna is also responsible for ANR ( artist relations ), probably first line of contact for other artists. No accountability from his side as well ?

I really like raftaars music, but he goes around saying parivaar family but when brishav went to him for help, he did nothing. As a share holder he has the power to interfere and help an artist out but he chose to take a step back and left ankit to handle it. If raftaar was so devoted to lifting the rap scene, he would have tried and assisted brishav in any possible way but he hasn't. Guess emiway was the smart 1. He figured out what kind of person raftaar was in the nick of time. If you look at it emiway vs kalamkaar was inevitable. I think it's a bit weird, that we're not asking Raftaar for some accountability.
He was the one who always said Kalamkaar is a Parivaar, and at the very least I expected him to back Brishav up when he was facing challenges from the business side of things. A nudge or simply a message from a major stakeholder could've helped a long way.
And if things weren't working he at least could've had a conversation and helped Brishav transition out of kalamkar. Seriously there were hardly 10 key artists in the "parivaar" and he couldn't find the time.
I think every claim that Muhfaad made about Raftaar just being a "bhai" for the namesake was true. He may have destroyed Muhfaad with that Live stream, but I think Muhfaad also had some truth which he could never convey clearly.
